The apartment building is old, however, David N. Shultz continues to improve the building. They recently painted the entire outside of the building, and it looks great! My only complaint is that they have not updated the inside of the building. The lobby and elevator and hallways look very outdated, very old paint, and quite embarrassing when people come to visit me. I hope they will make the appropriate upgrades and improvements needed soon. On that note however, I would like to share that when David N. Shultz painted the building, my rent was not increased. I give 5 stars for that too! Other places dock you when they upgrade their building. The main reason for my five star review and rating today is due to David N. Schwartz judgement in obtaining professional and outstanding managers to manage my apartment building, Paulina and Jibarie have been great! They are professional, very nice, respectful, and very accommodating. They are always on top of things. Whenever I request maintenance in my unit, I always receive an immediate response back, and a call is made within that same day to resolved any issue in a timely manner. That is very important to me. I have locked myself out of my unit a few times in the past, which was quite embarrassing, and they were always at my rescue, no complaints (I have copies of my keys now, so that I don't have to bother them with that anymore, lol) Paulina and Jibarie get the job done. I truly appreciate having such great manager's to maintain the building. Thank you for your service and for keeping the tenants happy, safe and comfortable!

Me and my roommates are so happy to finally have left this place after living in here for 3.5 years. The neighborhood itself is very nice, quiet and safe and the neighbors are all very friendly. However, it's mostly the manager that's very hard to deal with. Me and my 2 other girlfriends got suckered in to getting this apartment because we were desperate and just wanted to finally move out, so we committed to this apartment. We were all young, in fact probably the youngest tenants in the building and I'm sure the manager didn't think we knew what we were doing. I took pictures and videos prior to move in. I get a random text from the manager 1.5 year in asking me to take out a satellite installed in our balcony and asked me to pay for it. Luckily for me, I had a video that was time stapled which showed it had already existed prior to our move in. He had us clean the stairs leading from our unit and got accused that we were the cause of it bc we leave our trash bags in front of the door before taking it down to the garage. Of course, we cleaned it and never did it again, however the unit across us did it every single day in the 3.5 years we've lived there and they never got in trouble for it. He always also patrolled how we disposed our boxes and trash. Asking to fix something in the unit was so hard and he always ended up blaming it on us. I could go on and on about more stories of how he made every encounter with him so dreadful and most of the tenants feel the same towards him as well. The walls are also paper thin so you'll literally hear all of your neighbors! Save yourself the headache and just avoid this place. However, if you do, take multiple pictures and videos of every nook and cranny of this place bc god forbid you have to deal with fighting for your full deposit back with this shitty ass company and manager!!!!!

I also have a problem in the bedroom with water coming up from the the floor, leaving the carpeting and pad soaking wet. The kind and knowledgable maintenance man pulled back one corner of the carpet and put a blower on the damp pad. He said the entire piece would need to come up. Since then I have sent emails to the manager, with photos, and have given times when I would be available to have vendors come and do the work in there, and have not had a reply. When I call I get a voice recording saying "the mailbox is full." And when I go to the office, the door is always locked. * **Update: I went to the office at a rare time when the door was unlocked, and they appear to be setting up a time for vendors to replace the carpeting that was damaged by rain water. A window specialist came in about 6 weeks ago and said I needed new windows in the living room. It was sent in for approval at that time. I had towels in the windows and wet carpeting in the bedroom over Christmas and nothing has been repaired! I'm told the previous tenants made numerous complaints about issues with water coming in, and finally decided to move out. Water pools on my patio during every storm, allowing mosquitos to breed. If you read in previous reviews about the wonderful Kaysha, she is long gone and part of previous management. New management is nearly impossible to reach and is evasive. The walls and ceiling here lack sound proofing. I have to keep my TV turned down low, so as not to disturb neighbors. If you live on the first floor you will hear every creaking floor board and the sound of heels on the hard floor above. You will also hear conversations, loud and clear, as if they are in the room!. I have upgraded my rating to 2 stars due to the maintenance man, Art, who has been kind and helpful. Unfortunately, he doesn't make the decisions, and I've had to wait a very long time for management to take action.

Additionally, the constant noise from passing trains added a layer of discomfort to our daily lives. Elevator malfunctions were a consistent problem throughout our stay, causing inconvenience and delays. Regrettably, our attempts to address these issues with the management proved fruitless.
