This place is delicious! The food was amazing and the drinks were perfect! We did eat outside which I am thankful for because I found it to be a bit too loud inside. Our server was more than wonderful and even helped me with a ridiculous request to taste the ramen broth before ordering the ramen (my nephew never had ramen so I wanted him to sample the broth before ordering and not eating it - he is very picky with food, but he loved it!) Just had dinner at Moxies and wow, I need to shout out our waiter Noah like he's the headliner of the whole experience. From the second we sat down, Noah was on it--quick to greet us, quicker with the water, and even quicker with the wit. You know that rare combo of funny and friendly, without trying too hard? That's Noah. He made great menu suggestions, cracked just the right amount of jokes (10/10 timing), and somehow managed to make the whole evening feel like we were being hosted by a friend--who actually cares if your steak is cooked right and your drink is never empty. November 2023 S U M M A R Y Moxies! What is there not to love? She is THAT GIRL for me in Dallas. Tried and true. She does it every time without failure. I love Moxies. T A S T E I have had many dishes and Moxie's, including my favorites, which are the tuna stack, brussels sprouts, blackened chicken sandwich, loaded burger, white chocolate brownie, beef vindaloo, shrimp tacos, steak with twice - baked potato and seasonal vegetables, etc. I everything is pretty amazing. The only thing I didn't really like was a beef vindaloo. I felt like the portion was really small, but why would I go to an American restaurant to eat Indian food? I don't know. I always get the same drinks every single time as well. I order the Paloma, which is absolutely amazing. I also ordered the Yuzu Mojito, which is probably one of my favorite Mojitos on the entire planet. Mojitos are my favorite drink, and I have them everywhere I go, and I have definitely had one too many bad Mojitos. Here they make it perfectly. I always adjust the sweetness of the Mojito and ask him to put half the amount of sugar that usually wood, and they always do. I also appreciate that Moxie's gives you a choice of flat or sparkling water at no additional cost. Some waitresses will ask and some will just assume and bring out flat water. But if you want sparkling water, it is available at no additional cost ( at least it was free the last time I was there) S E R V I C E The service is very consistent. My waitresses are always really really kind and attentive. They're always timely and very useful. It makes sense because Moxies is attached to a very prestigious hotel in the uptown Dallas area. A lot of business people and people who live in the area frequent this restaurant. I seem to always have issues with the hostesses who aren't too nice, but my contractions with them are usually quite limited so it doesn't significantly bother me. I rarely speak to any managers. They rarely come to the table. A M B I E N C E Great ambience, no matter whether you're in the bar area, the main dining room or the patio. People usually dress business casual. My favorite area is the patio especially during fall or on summer evenings. They also have heating lamps when it gets colder in the winter. I have come here quite a few times with other people, but mostly solo and they do not make a fuss when you want to have an entire table to yourself solo. P R I C E I always spend about $120-140$ here. That includes two drinks, one appetizer, two entrées, and a dessert and tip. I always take an entrée home. R A T I N G She's a gem! They highlight the favorites and I was extremely satisfied with the Chipotle Mango Chicken. Highly recommend it. It comes on a bed of quinoa and broccoli and is perfectly flavored. If you've got a sweet tooth, be sure to get the Mile High Mocha Pie! It's basically a fudgy ice cream cake with lots of almonds for crunch. One of my favorite desserts now. First time here after finding it on Yelp and it was honestly such a great choice. I ordered the Royal Paloma, the Brussel Sprouts (twice) and the Madeira Rigatoni. Royal Paloma was recommended by my amazing server Sophia. She said it was refreshing and it did not disappoint. The Brussel Sprouts are more than enough for one person and had some sweetness but also some spice. They were so good that I ordered a second batch you take it to go. Lastly I had the Madeira Rigatoni which was such a filling meal and immediately warmed me up. This place was so warm and cozy where you were immediately greeted with a smile. Just like the Moxies in Miami this spot doesn't disappoint. Came for lunch on a Friday and was greeted by friendly hostesses and a completely crowded restaurant. I barely had to wait for a table to be cleared once the previous guests left. Portions were HUGE and the food was great.
