I got my front brakes replaced for a great price and done in less than an hour! They told me to take it easy and i did but Its been about 3 weeks since i got them done and i there has been some squeaking which wasn't there prior to getting them replaced so i called and they got me an appointment asap. Mr Brake is the real deal. Mark the owner is professional and honest. I would highly recommend them to family and friends. Last week I brought my Camry to a tire and service shop in Vegas for a free tire rotation. They also did an inspection, I was told I need to changed; brakes and rotators, CV Axels, tire rod, and lower control arm. They said the cost to repair was approximately $3K. A week later I made an appointment with Mr Brake. Mark put my Camry on a lift and removed all the tires. He inspected everything that was listed above and said everything was still good working condition and did not need to be repair. This business is a scam artist. I brought my car in and they convinced me that my swing arms were so bad that they wouldn't even let me drive off the lot until they fixed it $1000 later I drive the car off the lot and they never fixed the problem when I went back they told me it was something completely different and that they didn't do that there after they already charge me $1000 for something that they said was wrong with the car then they say that it's something completely different hours later and that they don't fix that problem at their establishment I'm a single woman and they definitely took advantage of me. My car pulsates when it's on and while I have my foot on the brake (not moving). Took it in to a couple of places and they both said my front rotors need to be replaced. Called around and Mark gave me the best price and all his reviews have been solidly good (5 stars), so I made an appointment to come in. Arrived 30 min before my appointment, figured I'll just take care of the paperwork, check in and then let them do their thing when it's my time. I was expecting to have to wait for 2, 3 hours like most places have quoted me. Luckily they had a bay open, so they took my car in straight away. Mark was friendly and professional. He was multi-tasking between me and a couple of other appointments and never gave me a hard time for coming in earlier than the appointed time. After about 10 min, he showed me what's going with my rotors. Showed me the specs for my car, showed me how they are measured by measuring them for me to see where they are at in comparison to what's the minimum requirements for my car. So it turns out the rotors do not need to be replaced and if you re-surface them and change the pads, they are good for the next 30K-34K miles. I felt relieved knowing that's all there was because I was a little concerned about doing a major replacement of the rotors due to cost. It was done within 30 min; he said he doesn't over book and he has all the right equipment as well as staff to tackle the work and that is why they can do the job quickly while maintaining their quality of work and service. Definitely come here, have them inspect your car instead of trusting other shops. Mark is very honest, personable, gets very detailed and explain the science behind brakes and rotors, which I love hearing and learning about. I definitely recommend this place and plan to come here for future needs. BTW, they are in the same plaza as 168 Market and there are tons of restaurants around there for you to check out instead of waiting around. However, we have seem folks going in and out within 30 min, so you may not have to wait too long but if you decided to grab something to eat, lots of options within walking distance. read more
