They have tablets at the front of the store to assist with order intake so that everyone behind the counter can focus on making drinks and getting them out to customers. There was ton of different types of teas, and quite a few topping choices from honey boba to grass jelly and even salted cheese. This is for the NEW LOCATION IN MENLO PARK - it is awesome, go there now! I went there on day 2 and had jasmine tea with organic milk and red bean, my son had a strawberry smoothie with boba. Both great. I was happy to see shelves with actual tins of tea and pitchers of freshly brewed tea and bowls of fresh and frozen fruit that were actually being used to make the drinks. I had my tea 50% sweet and "less" ice, that was great for me. They also have sturdy cups that seem reusable and offer a discount if you bring your own cup of any kind. They also offer gold anodized steel straw sets with one standard straw and one boba straw in a cotton drawstring bag that includes a brush for cleaning them! This place is in my neighborhood and I'm so excited to have the healthiest boba place I've ever been to just walking distance from my home. There is a good selection of your classic milk teas as well as regular tea drinks, with some of their specialty drinks included as well for your choosing. What is up with this place? Terrible customer service. Food and drinks can be ok but won't be back. I've ordered twice from this place through Uber eats. The first time, there was no straw. When we let them know, their first response was " I'm not going to send out a straw just for you." Wow, that was just an FYI lady - way to take a complaint and feedback. For both times, I wanted a green tea with no milk. On their menu, there is a section for "classic milk teas", "milk teas", and "fresh brewed tea". MY EXPERIENCE: When I was first trying to find the place, it was hidden in a little corner that was covered by construction work so I was doing a little bit of back and forth, but once I found it, I was greeted by friendly staff! Quick tip: this place is a little hard to find via google maps. Park at the parking lot in the back area and walk towards the entrance. The entrance is a little hidden - you have to walk around the parking garage exit to find the restaurant. I really like the tea's at this place, but the employees are extremely rude and not helpful at all. I ordered my tea through kiosk when it was time to pay additional 0.20 cents was added for a bag charge I told the girl at the counter that I didn't need the bag how could I remove the charge she replied that you couldn't take it off like common are you serious at that point I wanted my tea and I paid. Because they don't allow indoor seating with covid it's super inconvenient to have to stand outside and wait so long for an order. This is a review to hopefully improve the no-contact process that was probably implemented because of COVID-19. I wanted to try this place out because of the good reviews. Currently they have you order via a touch screen unless you're paying by cash so there is limited cashier/ customer interaction (make sense). When I was there, almost all their popular drinks were sold out except for the Rose Black tea which I ordered with milk and added boba. You type in your phone number to complete the order and instructions are to wait outside until you get a text. I get a text one min later after placing it that my one drink will take 30 min. The customer before and after me got similar texts but we all hope that with the staff who are working at a very relaxed and unhurried way that this is a mistake. 15 min tick by with a large amount of customers starting to build up impatiently waiting for drink orders. I finally go up and ask if the drink is going to take the full 30 min to prepare and the response is that they are waiting for the boba to complete cooking. I think in the future, notifying customers in advance prior to them ordering an item that can take a long time or just being redundantly stocked on cooked boba could set expectations correctly. Even if there is no way to correct the tablet in letting people know, if there is a crowd of people restlessly waiting, just verbally letting them know the reason behind the wait would be useful. As for the drink, I was really hoping it would be worth the wait after 30 min but it ended up tasting watery and the boba was pretty hard for being "freshly cooked".
