The food is delicious with super authentic Chinese taste. The place is spotless inside, and the service is great as well.

I took my colleague out to lunch before Christmas. I've worked with her for 14 years, so naturally she and I are quite close. She has always listened to me and offered advice whenever I needed it. Recently with the loss of my uncle, I became disconnected and lost mentally and emotionally. I was too busy to stop, but somehow I would sneak in a cry here and there when I am by myself. She helped coordinate with the rest of my team in Ann Arbor and in Singapore; sending my the bouquet, a card, and gift card was thoughtful, a simple gesture that brought tears to my eyes. She picked this place because it was close to work. I told her that after lunch, she can just go home and work from there. She thought this was OK Noodle, but the server told us that they moved to Abel St. We sat down and checked their menu from the QR code. I noticed that they have tofu as an appetizer, but there were no other vegetarian-friendly dishes. I went up and asked if I could order 2 orders of the tofu, a side of noodles w/ a side of chili and soy sauce. I was delighted to hear that they can accommodate me. There wasn't an option on the ZQ code to order a side of noodles. Once we placed our order, the server came to our table and asked me if I wanted the tofu to be braised/tossed with water instead because it is actually done with bone broth. I was impressed w/ the level of attention and detail and I appreciate them telling me, so I can stick to my religious beliefs as I'm going through the 49 days. I forgot what my colleague ordered, but my selection was quite flavorless (rightfully so), but the chili and soy sauce helped kicked the dish up. I'll be back to try their other dishes. If you follow them on IG, you can get 12% off from your bill.

House luosifen with fried egg, fried yuba, peanuts, water spinach, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms

Wow, this place was seriously good. It is difficult finding luosifen in the south bay, the only other restaurant is Lo Si Ding in San Jose. The luosifen here is so flavorful, the broth was perfectly spicy, sour and tangy. I added a Chinese style fried egg to my bowl, and it was fluffy and so delicious after absorbing some of the broth. I really liked the toppings: water spinach, peanuts, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms and fried yuba. They even provided a jar ohouse vinegar to add to cut the spice and make the broth more sour. The restaurant was clean and modern, the service was prompt, you scan a QR code to order and my luisifen came out within a few minutes.

House Special Luosifen with Chinese Sausage

The luosifen was very good. They were very generous with the toppings and gave a large serving of noodles which made the bowl worth every penny! Outside of that, the experience was great--service was excellent and bathroom was clean. Not many people were there when I came with my friends so i hope more people have the opportunity to try this place for their luosifen!

The service is awesome! But the food is pretty bad.....portion is small and really salty.

The classic luosifen snail soup. You should come here for this if ypu like spice and flavor.

I couldn't eat much spiciness and the waiter had it adjusted the spice level to be just right.

The waitress would refill our water frequently and the food was great! The tofu was perfect and tasted really good. The noodle dish and the hangover hearty broth soup was very clean tasting and very good. The tables weren't sticky either, seems like it's kept pretty clean. I would recommend this restaurant and will likely come back to try other dishes and get the signature fried tofu again!

This…read moreis definitely a place to go with adventurous eaters and people who can handle some spice. The menu is creative, bold, and full of flavors! We went all in and tried the fried silkworms, chicken liver pâté with Chinese donut, and eggplant dip with crispy rice crackers. Then came the truffle & mushroom rice, frog legs, lemongrass chicken, and banana leaf-wrapped sea bass. Every single dish was delicious, with so many interesting flavors and textures. The fried silkworms were definitely an adventure, but honestly, everything we ordered surprised us in the best way. The truffle & mushroom rice was especially memorable, and I'd absolutely order it again. Only downside: parking can be a challenge. And it's first come, first served, so plan accordingly and expect a wait during busy times or use the Yelp waitlist. But for us? Totally worth it. If you love trying new foods, bold flavors, and dishes that are a little outside the usual, put Jun Bistro on your list!

It's a good thing we did because the restaurant filled up completely 5 minutes after ordering. The inside of the restaurant is clean and modern, they have some art up on the wall that was cool to look at. The food was definitely the star though. We tried the BBQ pork and shrimp noodle rolls. Both were really good but my favorite was still the shrimp. I loved the veggies in the roll too. They can be a bit hard to pick up and eat because they're massive and cut into thirds. Other than that, the rice noodles are thin and silky and hold the sauce nicely. The sauce is also delicious. We also ordered the fish congee which was simple but comforting. It comes out PIPING hot so don't burn your tongue. Fish was tender and flavorful. Overall no complaints and the service was quick. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, kind service, and calming ambiance…read more Ordered wonton mein, fish jook, taro dumplings and bbq pork chang fen. Enjoyed wonton, jook and chang fen the best. Chang fen was silky, smooth and full of lean slices of pork. Taro root dumpling was delicate and fell apart as soon as we attempted to put it on our plates. Flavor was not what I anticipated. Look forward to returning for more chang fen.
