They say they have 10 tables, but 3 are smaller coin operated ones so they really only have 7. Waited almost an hour for a full size table on a friday night. Reasonable prices, since its just a room with a limited bar and pool tables. Nothing fancy at all. I've been trying to search for a local pool hall, and this one has become my regular spot. I come here all the time to try and teach my boyfriend how to play. I come here all the time that this review is overdue. This place is great. The tables are great. Personally, I like using the diamond tables and they are in great condition. The beer is good and the price is reasonable. If I had to come up with one downside I would say maybe it's luck but I have seemed to show up a few times where some heavy metal fans must have been playing pool. It's hard to concentrate on a shot when heavy metal is blasting haha, but hey it'll make me a better player. read more

I came to this place before and they had a girl bartender anf she was cool . Ive recently came tonight and its been a while i came here , they have a new guy bartender his name is Lee he said . His service was horrible , from the start he was a fucking dick . 1 and a Half hour later i ask him for new Cold cups he said " I am not your servant " . I told i didnt give a fuck what he waa , he was the bartender and i wantwd fresh cold cups . I told him if he didnt leike his job there was no need to take it out on me . The guy was mad at me cause i was asking for New cold cups for the new pitxher i asked . I was here with 5 other people and we drank 6 pitchers , that is the service i get ? this guy makes me not want to come at all again here wich is sad cause j like this place . I've been coming here on and off for over 30 years. I used to come here years ago with the boys and always had a good time. Flash forward a couple decades and it feels like I never left. My son and I started coming a couple years back to have a few beers and shoot some pool, now the wife and I are "regulars". It is a great place to go shoot some pool with some friends, or take your date/wife. (Or both) All of the staff/bartenders are very friendly and attentive. Lee is the man, always friendly, always prompt with his service, and just an all around a great guy. Tables are nice, prices are very fair and the beer is always cold. THE GOOD: Quite a few beautiful tables, good selection of cues. THE BAD: Playing pool is too expensive ($7 per hour), the $15 pitcher of Modelo Especiale was flat, the music was too loud, and the female staff person was unfriendly. THE UGLY: The juke box was a total ripoff, .50 cents to $1 per song. Both songs I selected cost $1. Also, she forgot to give my driver's license back when we paid and left. About 5 days later I noticed my license was missing. Luckily (no pun intended) I remembered that they required an ID, so I called and they had it. Thank God! I had to drive about 15 minutes each way to retrieve it and she (same woman) did not apologize. If I hadn't remembered it would still be sitting there. Not wise in the age of identity theft. I love coming to Luckys. They have a great beer selection, an amazing staff, and the best tables in the South Bay. I got to meet some of the regulars and everyone is super nice. I try to go at least once or twice a week. It's always a good time. read more

This place is a local spot for sure.. Don't come here on a Friday/Saturday night expecting a table right away. It gets crazy busy and you'd end up not wanting to come back. Come here during the week, order a basket of seasoned fries or wedges, and a pitcher of beer and you'd be entertained for hours. Lots of parking front and rear, good selection of beer, and nice maintained tables. Cant really complain about this place but I am a local. read more

Great place to watch games with a huge variety of draft beer. You can tell that the owner takes billiards seriously by the quality of house cues and the cleanliness of the tables. What a gem!! A cool spot right around the corner from my place...LOVE IT! Plenty of pool tables, jute box, nice bar, and awesome staff. Daily special daily from 5p-8p ($2 pints, $8 pitchers, $7/hr tables). No food served (just snacks) but the plaza they are located in has plenty of food options. Order to go and bring the food in to the pool hall. I'm sad I didn't give this place a second look until now, but I'm glad I found it. I will definitely be going more often. read more

Great place to come and play pool! I came during the day when it was cheaper, but I don't know if I'd come back to play pool here during their peak hours. I played for about two hours and only payed around $12. Not too bad at all. The place reminds me of what a movie director would choose to place a grungy, slightly badass fight scene in a movie.. kind of like in Rush Hour when Jackie Chan accidentally picks a fight with the people playing pool. I haven't been to other pool areas in the southbay, but this place is well worth it if you're in the area. read more

I was once a regular, but I haven't gone around the Yelp review. 1) Their staff is extremely awesome once you've warmed up to them. Lee was our regular bartender/rack person & he is a really awesome guy, hands down. (Miss you dude!) 2) There is only one bathroom/toilet for the ladies, but there's never many women during the day. 3) Kenny, a regular during the day, is always shooting pool on the weekends (not sure on the weekdays) & he's the one to go to for technique/skill tricks. Really great to watch shoot. 4) Pool tables are always really clean and the felt is always really new. 5) (Looking from the entrance) The left tables are smaller pockets and the right are regular. I've taken the challenge in playing with the small pockets and its always really fun. 6) Gets super busy on the weekends with the younger...rachet crowd. If that's your thing, do it. 7) Beer is always a hit or miss but we always went for the company. read more

Small local pool hall with a dive bar kind of feel. There aren't too many tables but it's fairly cheap and the beer is decently priced for pitchers. The tables themselves are soso. Theres a mix crowd depending on the night you go. I see some nights where it's all emo type high schoolers and others when it's 40+ biker dudes. read more

By far my favorite place to play pool and chill on a weekday night. Weekends are fine too but it gets a little crowded. They have a great variety of tables - more big tables than small tables, varying pocket tightness, hourly and quarterly tables, etc, etc, etc. The quality of everything here is immaculate. The tables roll flawlessly, the house cues are the best I've ever seen, the balls seem like they're all brand new, the beer is fantastic, the music is great, and the service is wonderful. Everyone I've met that works behind the bar is extremely friendly and hard-working. It's also ridiculously inexpensive. My girlfriend and I can play for 2 hours, get 3 great craft beers, and get out for under $20. You really can't beat that. read more

These guys are an honest pool hall. Which is enough of a complement alone for a 4 star pool hall. I left my jacket once and came back 3 days later for it. I've played in numerous 8ball tourneys here. After three hours of pool the bartender came over to our table and told us we could not have our drinks because they were from outside. Furthermore, there is no sign stating this rule. I enjoyed playing here other than that. Now I guess I will just have to play a Gardena Bowl where you are allowed outside drinks. read more

Cool pool hall for people who actually like pool... or beer. They've got 7 regulation size tables with tight pockets and fast Simonis felt and 3 smaller tables which are coin operated. They maintain their tables regularly, and they have BEER! The crowd seems to be different every week, which I'm fine with. The bartenders are really sweet & funny. Some are your regular size and others are a tad bit smaller. They have cool craft brew (Absolution, Green Flash, and others) and your standard domestic beers. They have an online jukebox for $1/song.
