    "Grilled" cheese

This is diabolical. Ordered the grilled cheese, bread came perfectly toasty but cheese was just slapped on and sent out. Not thrilled. Minestrone soup was delicious.

BLT on Sourdough with excellent onion rings

Small but cozy. Excellent service. I got the BLT with onion rings, the onion rings were exceptional. DIL got the Mr Mom's Burger Extravaganza and it really was extravagant. Our friend got the Mr Mom's Special breakfast. Plenty of food-well prepared. Would go again.

    The Hungry Trucker; 2 pancakes

Very homey vibez! Preferred Cash. Service is like a diner vibe. Good and Attentive. The Hungry Trucker is no joke. It's HUGE. The pancakes were slightly crunchy on the edges, which added a nice touch to its fluffiness. I would order this again. IMO, the Mr. Mom's Home-Style Country Gravy Breakfast is very heavy. The biscuit is delicious and the gravy has a nice flavor. Combined, it felt like... I was eating a crumbly and soggy oatmeal. There's probably a better way to describe the texture and flavor. Overall, I would come again next time to try their French toast and waffles (served until noon)!

    Omlette

Decent food, old school diner atmosphere, hit or miss service. The house made jams are the star. Seasonal flavors made fresh were sweet and tangy. Perfect on toast or a biscuit. The menu was a bit confusing in how it priced their omelettes. It said you can add 4 items, didn't realize that each item was a couple dollars extra. My omelette ended up being $17, and frankly wasn't worth it. The cheese was laid on top, rather than mixed in, so it never really melted enough and slid off. The peppers and onions were not seasoned before folding into the eggs. The coffee was standard diner style, thin, acidic, with out much profile to speak of. My son ordered a waffle and that was pretty good. Tall and fluffy inside, crispy outside. I've had really slow service here before, and also really great attentive service as well. It depends on how busy they are and who your server is. All in all, not great but not bad.

    BLT with hash browns

Pretty good. Customer service was one of the best. My sandwich was over toasted and it tore up the top & bottom of my mouth. I asked for an extra piece of bread so I could reassemble my sandwich and $1.75 was added to the bill. When I explained why, they kindly removed the charge.

It was soooo good I'm a big fan of salads and this hit the spot! I had it with the blue cheese dressing and wow it was so good with chunks of cheese

    Eggs Benedict with homestyle papas

So happy we stumbled across this diner that has been around for 4 decades! Cozy decor, inside and outdoor seating, and friendly staff. I got the eggs Benedict and my son got the biscuits and gravy. First let me start by saying they make everything in house. I asked to confirm but if you love hollandaise sauce as much as I do, I already knew before I asked lol. My eggs were poached to perfection and everything was seasoned well. The potatoes were golden and crispy. No complaints on the biscuits and gravy either! Gravy was yep you guessed it homemade in house and is a 32 year old recipe! Will be back for sure

However I did have breakfast and I wasn't too happy with that. She told me how the bill is presented which after the explanation it made sense. But here's the issue I had. The waitress Veronica came up and said hello. She didn't smile, nice but lacking personality for waitressing I left her a good tip only because I know the tips are what they survive on I waitressed for many years So I can tell a really good one from a fair one to a bad one I had other waitresses there before that were exceptional!! Anyway.... I told her I wanted decaf and she said it would take five minutes. Well I knew it would take longer than that So that's okay But she took my order for bacon eggs and potatoes and toast That came quickly not delivered by her at all. Some guy and my coffee still wasn't ready I would have liked to had my coffee to drink I was halfway through my bacon and eggs before coffee came The potatoes were old and greasy. I told the guy and waved him over But then Veronica saw me flagging him over She told me my options and said that the pancakes would be $3.00 extra. I really don't get that? So big disappointment on the breakfast. I told Ashley I was going to leave a review, a good one, but that is because she was a great bartender. But the other experience was awful And the owner would definitely recognize me if I saw him. I drive all the way from Vacaville and when he first opened I put great reviews on Facebook for him The French dips there are delicious and that's what I should have ordered It's the first thing I ordered the first time I ate there and if I go back that's what I will order And if Veronica waits on me she will get another $5 tip and hopefully she will smile next time Thank you Ashley for your fine service Diane B

Talk about happy tastebuds. Our main dish was a beautiful salmon fillet prepared perfectly with just a hint of lemon rubbed on, and presented on a bed of shelled brussel sprouts lightly roasted. The coup de gras was the dessert: a slice of peanut butter and a flourless chocolate cake. Luis recommended a sangiovese for my wife and she enjoyed it immensely. Burrito was a good size and came with sour cream and salsa on the side. Not as seasoned as I would have liked inside the burrito so I'm glad there were condiments. Hot sauce and ketchup along with other condiments are on the table already. My other cousin ordered the chilaquiles. Big portion. The seasonal menu's offerings were ideal for a rainy April day, when their cassoulet, bocadillo and other cozy options provided the comfort food we were craving. I loved the colorful tables and tasteful decor. It was clearly a regular lunch destination for many of the diners. The bar was packed during the rush, around noon, as well as the other indoor seats. My lunch friend mentioned that the restaurant is owned and operated by a husband and wife team: Annette and Brian. The regulars were greeted with familiarity. It wasn't the kind of place where you're rushed for your order, nor is it a dine and dash location. The menu - both food and drink - has tantalizing options, so it's best to come back repeatedly. My Turkish Coffee arrived quickly after I ordered it, despite Annette being the only server on the floor. I enjoyed the Bocadillo too, especially the pickled vegetables that accompany the sandwich.
