10/10/10 best spot ever! Loads of drake, house, 90s music. Beat so good. drinks loaded with alcohol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Best views in the city.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of security and great ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] High quality people and service. Hot spot.

Randomly walked in on a Saturday night and was able to get in!!! And had such a good time forgot to take pictures :/ [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very quirky figures along the entrance like the dog and the horse and the ice cream (yeah ikr!) and very colorful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You take the elevator up and on a good day you can go outside and it's gorgeous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a pretty decent menu (and a full bar so I imagine they can make you something ride too). [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a dj playing and generally good vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Didn't think there was a dress code cos all sorts were there[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks: Iced coffee: a very well rounded drink I highly recommended it if you like boozy (not too boozy) non sweet cocktails with the right amount of body Purple smoke: this was delicious but too sweet for me but also a well balanced drink overall The matcha one (can't remember name) was surprising - you get the matcha pretty thoroughly and it's such a well balanced drink. Not very sweet either The 'beet' cocktail (I'm calling it cos you can't expect me to have a cocktail night and expect need to remember ask these cutesy inventive names) was a tad too sweet but also citrusy and aromatic. You get the beet which if you like then you'll like this drink Overall, I was very impressed with the service the quality of the drinks and the general vibe of this place. Can't wait to go back on a nice summer night where we can hang outdoors

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Mr. Purple is very spacious rooftop bar and restaurant located on the 15th floor[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Mr. Purple's interior decor is very nice from moment you step off the elevator, walk around the bar/restaurant area and finally arrive to the rooftop/pool area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My bestie and I were here to attend an event and we had a wonderful time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a DJ playing a variety of music from different genres. We were enjoying the music and having a great time dancing as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view from the rooftop was cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The rooftop area was decent, but in terms of size it was okay as long as it wasn't overly crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the fact that there was a pool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, it is a cool spot to hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Decided to stop by for a quick drink around 11:30 PM. Thankfully there was no line when we arrived, but by the time we left around 1 AM there was already a line forming. IDs are checked at the door and bags are checked once inside. Drinks were definitely pricey, which I expected and don't mind as long as they're good but unfortunately the Codigo margarita was extremely sour. It seemed like it might have been the mix they use, and the tequila tasted pretty cheap considering the price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was packed with a younger crowd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music was a min one minute a Spanish song, the next country pop which felt a bit random.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But will return in the summer to give it another try.

This review is specifically for the outdoor rooftop viewing area of Downtown NYC, as I did not try drinks here; we only came for the rooftop views lol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Terrific panoramic views of all the buildings, probably would be better to see at night but we were in the area and came in later afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a small pool outside too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I come here everytime I visit NYC. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great cocktails, great vibes, great views, and great music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have fire places and heaters outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This even would be a good place to watch sports.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time here at Mr. Purple and definitely a good time. I went to visit my friend who is also a former work colleague of mine as well. Great vibe and staff, a place you must check out if you're in the delancey street area. Love and appreciate you always ricky .

I hung out here several times during my weekend stay at the hotel this past summer. We enjoyed the fantastic rooftop views and the pool. We even came up one night after dinner for the party vibes. It's definitely a younger crowd. Drinks were a but pricey, but not over the top. It is NYC after all. I think they charge a cover for the rooftop party after a certain time, but we didn't pay one - maybe it's free if you're a hotel guest?! Don't quote me on that. Well the one downside is that the music is very loud and when we got back to our room, we could still hear it!

Mr. Purple is located in the lower east side. They have promising views of the city and the outdoor space is pretty large. They also have a gorgeous bar area with ample of seating as well. I recommend reservations for the weekends. Service was attentive and the music was a vibe. The only ding was drinks were pretty pricey $23 and food was $16 and up. Not sure if I can justify the pricing but overall the venue is pretty solid.

Mr. Purple was a lot of fun! The rooftop view of the city was immaculate, and they had a great selection of music as well. The drinks were solid, and I enjoyed the overall vibe of Mr. Purple as a whole. Would recommend!

I came here to bar hop with friends and it was a pretty decent spot. The inside of the bar is pretty spacious with different levels and a huge patio area (that would be great for warmer days). Drinks and service here is decent.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

The Amazake Kick was balanced with just the right amount of sweetness, making it a fantastic starter. For food, we ordered the scotch egg, sliders, and fish and chips. The scotch egg was solid, though the sausage layer felt slightly dry this time around. Typical yuzu but ive had better ones - personally feel like the yuzu can be brighter and a bit sweeter rating: 4/5 - the drinks were all good but nothing particularly stood out except for the hojicha colada - the vibe and the music really brought up my rating though! It was such a cute, cozy, intimate spot for dates - small speakeasy with only a few seats, similar to bars in japan; it's one of those japanese listening bars and i love it - there was light jazz in the background, not too loud that i had to shout - the mood was perfect; I couldn't stop staring at the interior decor and immerse myself in this little cozy corner - service was super quick, nothing much to note IG: @nom.noms.only
