Finally checked out West Hill Deli! Absolutely loved their food and ambiance…read more For food, we got the adobo pork belly (comes with macaroni salad, rice, and vegetables on the side) and the pandan fried chicken (comes with rice and veggies on the side). Pandan was super crispy and rice was soft, not mushy. Adobo was rich in garlic and in smoky and sweet flavor. Love they kept the fat on some adobo pieces. Each dish was just enough for us to finish for breakfast. For drinks, we ordered the calamansi juice and calamansi iced tea. Both taste great. Side notes: You order up front, bring your table number, and sit wherever you like. They will bring you your food. Once youre done, please put your food away in the back, which is located on the left hand side of the deli if youre facing the deli at the entryway. It was busy on a Sunday around noon. A few were available but was filled quickly after about half an hour of us arriving. People tend to spend time here. About an hour if youre just there to have a quick meal, but families were gathering and spending time with no rush which i loved. No waitress or waiter to check on you, just only to bring you your food which took a reasonable 2 minutes for drinks and about 10 - 15 for food. Overall, we definitely recommend!

I also tried the garlic fried rice with longanisa and eggs, which was really good too. The longanisa had that nice sweet-savory balance, and the garlic rice was fragrant and comforting, though I'd still pick the sisig if I had to choose between the two. The ube pancakes were delicious soft, slightly sweet, and definitely a fun treat. Fair warning though, they will leave your teeth a little purple for a bit but honestly worth it. I also got the ube coffee and... YUM. Such a good combo with the pancakes. Overall, everything was solid and full of flavor. I'd definitely come back, especially for that pork sisig. Tita is definitely cooking in the back you can taste it.

I ordered the three tacos, my husband got the Umai Burger, and we added fish tacos plus wings and garlic fries to share. Everything hit the spot! The fish tacos were perfectly battered, and the garlic fries were giving full-on stadium/baseball vibes crispy, garlicky, addicting. Drinks were solid too. The space looks small from the outside, but once you're in, it's actually pretty spacious. The vibe is super fun they host cool evening events like Latin nights and other themed nights, so it's definitely more than just a restaurant. Great food, great energy, and happy hour is worth coming back for. I'm already planning to return soon to finally try their breakfast!

Excellent Mexican restaurant with lots of great options…read more There is a bar section as well as family dining area and outdoor seating. Great space for kids and awesome views of the water. Portion sizes were large and my personal favorite was the seafood chimichanga. Additionally, the chips and guacamole were delicious. Holy Margaritas! The house margaritas was delicious and served in a giant glass. We were visiting from out of town and this was a nice stop on our way to our vacation rental.

Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. No complaints at all about what came out of the kitchen. Now... the rest of the experience. We were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time, which on Valentine's Day I understand can happen. It's busy. It's high volume. But when you take reservations, there's an expectation that timing is at least somewhat respected. Then we were placed at a table about 18 inches from a side door. I'm not exaggerating when I say if I moved my arm out even slightly, I hit the wall. The table next to us was less than two feet away. On a night that's supposed to feel intimate, it felt cramped and rushed. Not romantic. Not relaxed. Just tight. It honestly felt like too many reservations were accepted for the space available. I get maximizing a holiday, but there has to be a balance. Capping reservations and planning seating a little better would've made a big difference in the overall experience. Again, the food? Strong. The atmosphere that night? Way too packed for comfort. If the seating had matched the quality of the kitchen, it would've been a top-tier Valentine's dinner. I reached out directly to the restaurant and after my email was read numerous times between now and then with no response, I am leaving this review.

I've been wanting to try Market 253 Seafood House & Raw Bar for quite a while, but I kept putting…read moreit off because I assumed it was mostly seafood and raw bar offerings. My husband isn't the biggest seafood fan, so I didn't think it would be the best choice for the two of us. Turns out, I was completely wrong! I ordered the crab-crusted sirloin, and it was fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly, the crab topping was delicious, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. It also came with shrimp, which were good, although I think I would have preferred them grilled instead. The asparagus was perfectly cooked as well. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the rice pilaf. It had a floral flavor that just wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad, but next time I'll probably substitute it for another side. My husband lucked out because they had a smoked chicken thigh sandwich on special that day. It was made with pulled smoked chicken thigh and a house-made peach barbecue sauce. I didn't try it myself, but he absolutely loved it and said it was excellent. One thing I also noticed was the food coming out to the surrounding tables. The woman next to us ordered one of the burgers with a side salad instead of fries, and honestly, both looked incredible. The side salad was surprisingly large and looked fresh and delicious. This definitely won't be our last visit. I came in expecting a mostly seafood-only restaurant and left realizing there's something for just about everyone. Great food, great atmosphere, and plenty of menu options. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying something new!

The decor inside is nice, especially with the main big TV in the dining area. This place could be a hit for any Seahawks game if you get there early enough. Service took a little bit in the beginning, but our food and drinks came in orderly fashion so no complaints there. Menu has a nice variety for everyone. I do like their seafood selection, they have a good range of cooked and raw. Prices are a little high but that's normal for casinos to upcharge. We got the lobster roll and Caesar salad with shrimp. Definitely getting the salad with shrimp again, the shrimp was sautéed in butter and garlic and the salad was refreshing. Lobster roll had a good size amount of lobster but it tasted dry, it was missing something but I couldn't put my finger on it. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back for a quick bite and a nice tall glass of draft beer/cider

I also really like being able to choose my own table--I know this would be impossible at a busy restaurant, but this was so dead we could, so go here Sunday at about 3! All the tables are very pretty and looked comfortable. I prefer the comfort and privacy of booths (which they have a few), but the friend with whom I was dining needs tall chairs, so we opted for that. The cocktails were AMAZING, and the hummus plate was more than enough for lunch. So delicious. It came with warmed triangles even though the menu didn't mention them! Yum, yum, yum!!! He only came here because he thought that if the tamal cost $6 then they had to be good. They were not. When I asked him where he got them and he said here, I looked it up on Yelp, who was saying they were permanently shut down. Little to no flavor. Traditional Guatemalan tamales have a slice of red bell pepper, and an olive in it, giving it more flavor but this one just had the meat and let me add that the amount of bones that were in the tamale was just absolutely unacceptable. Everyone knows that you don't put bones in tamales. The amount of times I bit into a bone or had to spit them out, made the eating process so unpleasant. I had told my husband to not come here anymore since it's so overpriced but I guess he forgot. It was just another reminder why I don't come here anymore
