Great value! This is like a fast food Chinese place that you pick and choose what you want and they put it on your plate for you. They are VERY generous with their portion sizes which is a large plus. The selection is standard: chow mein/fried rice, kung pao, broccoli beef, orange chicken or spicy orange chicken, BBQ chicken, and teriyaki chicken. They also have egg rolls and fried won tons. On the wall, it also has some Thai food and viet food selection, but I think you have to order those separately and wait for them to make it. They combo meals are relatively inexpensive for Chinese fast food (compared to Panda Express) and the portion sizes are way bigger. Combo A includes one entree and chow mein/fried rice for $4.75 and for each additional entree, it is a $1 more. So combo B is $5.75 for 2 entrees. The place has a good amount of seating. When I went at 8:30pm on a Thursday night, the line was pretty long (5-6 people) but didn't take too long. People are nice. Food is good. Many years ago I stopped coming here because of a scenario I witnessed that mirrors what so many have posted regarded being treated rudely. Now, every time I drive by Mr. You's and think about what it represents, my heart hurts. As several reviewers have pointed out, the manager and staff are beyond rude and the place is not clean. That's because they can be. People from all over the area will come here anyway because they are struggling financially and need to feed their families as I did. Their prices are literally rock bottom, and only every now and again will you be unfortunate enough to get mildly sick, or find a stray hair or chicken head in your food. So it's worth it if you're broke. This place capitalizes on the poor. Its owners have refused to be a strong ally to the impoverished surrounding community. I lament that they can't get it together enough to be a clean, friendly, family establishment with a stake in the community instead of one that uses and abuses it's clients. This review is long overdue. If the owners at Mr. You's are reading it: please, do better. We need you to. Whenever i want fast chinese food i head to my spot, Mr.You Express. Food is delicious here and portions is excellent. They are not tight with the food at all. I cant go anywhere else but here. There are very few places i go to for chinese food and this is one of them. Pretty much anything i pick is very tasty. The only thing i dislike is their new serving system. This is seriously the best fast-food Chinese take-out I've had since moving to Southern California. Everything about this place is awesome. The staff is wonderfully friendly, the portions are monstrously gigantic, the prices are affordable at about $6.50 for 2 entrees, and most importantly the food is absolutely delicious. This is going to sound standard, but their Orange Chicken is the best Orange Chicken I've ever had. It's the super crispy exterior texture covered in a beautifully syrupy sauce. It's so good. The Chow Mein is an orange color, but taste great! Their Beef & Broccoli has large pieces of deliciously tender broccoli and savory cuts of beef. Their food isn't salty either, I love it! It was $7.33 for half Chow Mein and Fried Rice (they really just gave me 2 full servings of each), Orange Chicken, and Beef & Brocolli. This included a $1 tip, tax, and 35 cent charge for using my credit card. It was worth every penny. As previously stated, the portions are INSANELY HUGE. It doesn't even MAKE SENSE. A 2 entree dish can EASILY be shared with 2 people. I opened my box and it was BRIMMING with food. Look at the picture I posted! My friend Christina V. came back AFTER I ate a huge portion and asked "DID YOU EVEN TOUCH YOUR FOOD?" It's almost comical. They also serve a rice bowls, Thai food, and all different kinds of Asian dishes. I think the family who owns this place is Thai. Whatever they are, they are wonderful. I also like that their cups are Styrofoam so your drink will stay cold for longer and you don't have to worry about condensation. It's a casual restaurant with outside seating as well. Perfect spot to come if you have a large family and don't want to spend a ton going out to eat. They also offer a family size meal for $25. Though I like cooking my own Asian food (less greasy, less salt, can make my portions as big, small, spicy or veggie filled as I want), I was feeling lazy. My boyfriend wanted Chinese and I wanted Thai. He suggested Panda, I said no way, no how, I won't. We've been to Rounds next door a few times so I suggested we stop by here instead. It was only 20 minutes or so until closing and there was still a line, but it moved along quickly. They had the usual offerings of fast-food, point-point Asian food: orange chicken, spicy orange chicken, BBQ chicken, broccoli beef, chow mein, fried rice, egg rolls, etc. If you want, they also have a made to order menu of Thai noodle dishes: pad see ew, pad kee mao, pad thai and you can pick your protein (something like $6.99-7.50). My Panda Express loving boyfriend got the Combo B with half fried rice, half chow mein, broccoli beef, and spicy orange chicken. Let me tell you, they filled that poor styrofoam container to the absolute brink. My eyes widened as she magically fit more and more into it. I opted for the pad see ew with tofu. Maybe 6 minutes later my dish was ready to go. She gave some extra chili sauce on the side (like I said, I like it spicy, girl). Our bag was easily 5lbs and ready to burst. My boyfriend was really happy with his food and was happy with how much meat he got. Likewise, I enjoyed my pad see ew. The tofu was cooked well and there was easily at least 3/4 of a block of tofu in there. It wasn't too greasy and could probably have benefited from more sauce. One thing though, was that I wasn't used to baby corn and mushrooms in my pad see ew. It makes me wonder if they just use a pre-mixed bag of veggies and throw that in there. Order two combo B and both boxes had the items written on box, I was charged for both but when I got home the bottom box was missing the SOC spicy orange chicken. I drove all the way back for them to claim they didn't charge me which they did and that it wasn't written on box which it was. Then said they would charge me for the combo B that I wasted gas and time to go back and get that I already paid for. I told him look at box and the lady who wrote it was there too and sure enough SOC in her writing was on the box he just did t see it when packing but the register lady saw it and charge me. Then he gave me the little extra item box of SOC that I open there and literally it has 3 pieces. I was like are you serious? The amount they give in box is way different than that little box. It shouldn't be that difficult to correct and give the right amount. If you have to make a second trip to correct their mistake you would think they would correct it and perhaps a drink or something for the extra gas and time you wasted.
