Pizza was really good. I was not expecting it to be that good in Key West. We had one delivered to our hotel and they were relatively quick and communicated well. A couple nights later we stopped in and picked one up to take back and eat on the beach. It was great again. Love that it's open late at night. It's hard to find something in key west that is open late for food and not just drinks. This is a great solution after walking around Duval all day, and grabbing a bite to go before heading to your hotel for the night. This place has amazing cheesesteaks. A slice of 'za while waiting a few minutes doesn't hurt, either...they toss it in the oven and get it hot n crispy for you. I am a local Uber/ Lyft driver. I have been a fan of the New Town location, since I started. My first visit to the downtown location, I didn't notice it was cash only. Which is very justifiable, given the location. The manager gave me my slice, on the house, as I had planned on paying with plastic. I threw the couple dollars I had in the tip jar. The one restaurant I miss most about the keys. My wife and I lived on Big Coppitt Key for a period many years ago. Of all the restaurants we tried in Key West this was our favorite and the one I miss most. They have a Philly cheesesteak that I have compared to all the cheesesteaks I have had since. Its tough to match, I assure you. I've tried their pizza and meatballs subs which are also quite good but man, that cheesesteak. Also worth mentioning, it's one of the cheaper places to eat. This place was dreadful. I blame myself really because the ordering process was so tedious that there was no way possible that I should have expected a good experience. I had a long day and didn't want to go out for dinner so I asked my hotel for a recommendation that delivered. He first guided me to Papa Johns and then gave this recommendation once I told him I didn't want a chain. The dude that took my order had me repeat it probably 6 times and was so scatterbrained. He was trying to do other things while taking my order and it was just annoying. He said an hour which I was ok with, it ended up being an hour and 25. The dude went to the wrong room because the guy that took the order wrote the wrong number, luckily he wrote my phone number right so the driver could call me to get the proper room. He arrived and had the salad in the warmer bag with the pizza. Ugh, are you for real? He also forgot my two sides of pizza sauce but did charge me for them. The salad was warm and the salad dressing came open or something because dressing was in random spots. The pizza was super burnt. The lighting in my room wasn't that great but you can get a visual.
