My husband arrived at 6:05pm and waited in line, only to be told the order wasn't ready. After standing there for another 25 minutes, he got back in line. When the cashier recognized him, she asked his name and then said, "Let me get a manager." At that point, he watched the manager hurriedly assemble and package our order on the spot. No explanation. No apology. Just a dismissive "thank you for your patience" before moving on to the next customer. Meanwhile, he observed a steady stream of delivery service orders being prioritized and sent out while he stood there waiting. Let's be clear: if you order through delivery apps like Uber Eats or DoorDash, you're already paying a significant markup--easily 25% more. So tonight, we made the effort to order direct and pick up ourselves, thinking we'd save money and have a better experience. Instead, we waited longer, received worse service, and still ended up with subpar food. By the time my husband got home (we live just 2.5 miles away), everything was lukewarm. We had to reheat our entire meal before we could even sit down to eat. Not exactly how you want to spend a Friday night. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, the expectation is basic: timely service, transparency when something goes wrong, and at minimum, an apology. None of that happened here. We've supported this restaurant--and its sister concept Muss & Turner's--for over 15 years. That loyalty clearly means nothing. If I could give zero stars, I would. This felt like a complete rip-off. The owners should spend a Friday night behind the counter and see firsthand what customers are experiencing: disorganization, lack of accountability, and a clear prioritization of delivery apps over the people standing right in front of them. I did the build-your-own pizza lunch special starting at $12, and I was impressed. It's such a solid deal and the quality was there -- fresh ingredients, great crust, and perfectly portioned. MTH has been one of our favorite local pizza spots for a while now. My husband and I decided to grab a quick bite there last night, and our visit was somewhat disappointing. We chose to sit outside. Our server introduced herself and had one water in her hand. Unfortunately, she never asked or brought us another water since we were a party of two. We decided to go ahead and place our food order, choosing the Florence, Mary, Diana, Betty. We also added stracciatella at an extra cost. It didn't take long to get our pizza; however, the appearance of the pizza seemed lacking. There was hardly any cheese, toppings, or stracciatella (just a dollop on each slice). Showed up about 5 min after they said the food would be ready and still had to wait 25 min before the order was completed and handed to me. DO NOT order direct. Saw countless delivery/doordash orders get prioritized and provided ontime. I had to get back in line and wait in order for the person at the register to acknowledge that I was still waiting for my food and get assistance. Once the person at the register realized that I was still waiting, they sought out a manager, whose only reaction was to tell me, "Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience", as they pushed my food towards me and moved on to the next paying customer. I am so sorry I can't remember our server's name but she was exceptional! Sweet, kind, personable, and informative . We went early for happy hour. Had the Giorgio Hommas appetizer and it was also wonderful. Asked our server about the preserved tomato on the Hommas, she asked the chef, and now I know how to duplicate it at home (which is my favorite thing to do with good food). Ahh! A Mth Pizza review is long overdue. Since moving to Cobb County I have made multiple visits to Mth Pizza. I always order the Mth margarita which does its job everytime. I believed they changed their menu and no longer serve the barbecue chicken pizza but all of their other pizzas are phenomenal. I have ordered from MTH pizza several times and I usually purchase the Hellboy. Overall I think its the best pizza they have. This time I purchased the Tony Soprano. I was very disappointed with the amount of sauce on the pizza. Its supposed to have a vodka sauce and you can see the small orange spots of vodka sauce but basically the whole pizza was bread cheese couple veggies and meat. While I do appreciate my food layered well and not overdone with toppings I do think they could be more generous with the toppings and sauce especially for my total coming out to 36 dollars after tip. White pizza is my go to and this one did not disappoint. The crust is also great, nice and crispy but still soft enough. The Hell Boy is the right amount of spicy. The pizza box also comes with instructions on how to properly reheat your pizza the next day if you have leftovers! We have never dined in so I can't attest to their service, but whenever I go in to pick up they are also very nice.
