Decided to check out MTH Pizza after driving by Muss & Turner's and realizing it was there. We were soooo glad we did! We are big lovers of Antico pizza, and this was REALLY, REALLY good too. A local gem, truly. Both types of pizza were amazing that we got. We also got the ricotta gnudi as well - and it was really good (think really good dough balls flavored with garlic and olive oil, with asparagus, peas, and cheese on top). Not sure what the hype is about this spin off of Miss & Turner is about but what I can say is I could give a half star - I would! The roasted broccoli and cauliflower was cold and bland. They promoted their dough as having been researched for 11 months and proofed for 3 days and the best - not so quick - it wasn't! They have preset pizzas that you can delete ingredients but can't add any otherwise they can remake it from the build your own menu which priced individually the ingredients can add up to an additional $6 and now you have a $30 Pizza!! By the time we got this $23 dollar pizza we found it bland, dough separated from the over cooked bottom. Not sure how long this over priced new venture will last but have a fat pocket book should you be daring enough to try it! read more

Meh. The server was the best part of the meal. I ordered a margarita pizza and it came out of the oven mostly burned and very dry. The fact that a cook would let this come out of the kitchen is a sign of not paying attention. I give them high marks for flavor although the basil on the pizza was very minimal. With so many other fabulous Pizza choices nearby, like Crispina and Antico, it's hard to see how this place is going to get any traction. read more

I was so happy to see they now have a gluten free pizza. But frankly so often when I get the gluten free things that make my digestion happy, they just don't taste very good. So I had low expectations. The Detroit stye, thick crust was actually delicious tonight--chewy but not too heavy. Way to go, MTH! I had the "lasagna-style" toppings and they went super well with the substantial crust. And my friends who had one of their regular thin crust pizzas loved theirs too. read more

We visited MTH Pizza for the first time on Saturday August 1st. What an amazing pizzeria and what a treasure for pizza lovers in Metro ATL! The pizza is absolutely fabulous! The dough is amazing due to the 72 hour rising process. The salad and pizza ingredients and toppings were fresh and top quality. Wine prices were supper reasonable. We even took home a Sangria building kit that was amazing once we got home that evening. Thanks to Matt, Chris, and Andrew for making us feel at home. Have eaten at this restaurant several times. Service has always been good, quick, attentive and friendly. Pizza very good, more boutique type, but do have build your own. Slightly expensive, limited drink menu beer and wine. Definitely worth a visit, the Pizza is good. read more

God I love pizza! There are a lot of chain places but MTH is my favorite to get quality pizza & dine in. I recommend the off-nights for a visit bc it can get quite packed Thus-Sun. Went with friends on a Wednesday and was not disappointed. We got the broccoli cauliflower app which was delicious. I was worried about the chili flakes but the sweet of goldens balanced it nicely. I'd give this 4.5 stars only because there are limited choices for pizza toppings. You can't add or customize toppings, but you can remove some if you choose. Been a fan of the other M&T establishments nearby, and couldn't wait to try their take on pizza. First visit was for lunch and tried the Hell Boy Pizza and Jimmy 2 Times Pizza. Both were very high quality and well made. I had a slight preference for the Hell Boy Pizza with its very effective blend of spice and flavor. It was hot enough to make sure you were aware, but not so hot as to overwhelm the flavors onboard the pie. Second visit was at supper time and I went for the Bianca Pizza. As good as the other selections were, the white pizza was better. So much goodness in the garlicky flavor, just wow. Hope to be back here again soon, this is some fantastic pizza. read more

We want to like it so badly as we love Muss and Turner. On the positive side, the server and all around service was great. The atmosphere was also very nice. The roasted cauliflower was delicious. Very nice looking restaurant, service was very good. Had cannalinni beans which were very nice, salads also looked very good. Ordered the clam pizza which was ok, they put a lemon in the middle of the pizza so your first bite of slice the lemon is dominant flavor. The taste of clams was very faint, I would prefer more clams and more clam favor, it is a"clam" pizza. Also ask for the red pepper and cheese as they do not put it in the table or mention they have it Will return, don't think will order clam pie though read more

The bianca pizza was great. My tendoroni is pretty good too a bit too salty for my taste but all the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The roasted cauliflower and broccoli appetizer was amazing as well. The homemade coffee gelato was so creamy and flavorful. Definitely recommend this place. Very limited beer selection. We ordered the Hell Boy pizza (expensive 24$ meat pizza). All the pizzas are 16". The pizza came with hardly any meat toppings on it. We had multiple slices with only cheese as our topping. It was also served without other toppings (like Calabrian chili's). Was very disappointed with the service as well, a manager did not come over to talk with us after initial complaint about quality. Would recommend going elsewhere. read more

We ordered the Bianca and a margherita and Bianca pizza and while both delicious the Bianca blew me away as I'm a garlic lover. Great from start to finish! We were seated at 5:30, ordered the Giorgio salad, the broccoli and cauliflower appetizer and the Jimmy 2 times pizza. The appetizers came out about 5 minutes later and both were delicious. The apple salad had the perfect amount of vinaigrette for a balanced sweet and sour combination. The broccoli and cauliflower were roasted to perfection and a great zesty flavor. Shortly after finishing our starters the pie came out. Crispy thin crust and tasty toppings. Yum! We didn't save room for the gelato ..next time. Oh, and we were walking out at 6pm! 30 minute meal. Love it! read more

I've been to MTH Pizza 3 times. I do like the pizza but if you get any then other the red sauce it's very dry. I've had the white and green sauce and they barely have any sauce on it. The Tiramisu is good, but it's a very strong coffee taste on the bottom of the cake. read more

We have tried quite a bit of pizza places in the Smyrna/Vinings area and this is by far our favorite now! We ordered a cheese pizza, with pepperoni, extra mozzarella, basil & calabrian peppers (like the Antico peppers) and it was perfect. Not too thick or thin, the crust was delicious and pepperonis were small and flavorful. 7 minutes before our pizza arrived, our driver called to let us know he would be there shortly. Decided to try this place out and try their wings, especially since their wings were natural and crispy fried, according to the menu description. However, I was greatly disappointed. Although the flavor was okay (I got the sweet and mild), not great, the wings were not cooked to my liking: crispy. When I placed my order, it asked if I wanted crispy. The wings were not even close to crispy. I thought this was going to be my spot for some good, crispy, fried wings. :( I gave them 3 stars because of good, friendly quick service and the flavor was okay. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to on this occasion. The pizza is good, but I would not say it's great. The salads are super overpriced. Nearly $10 for a bowl of lettuce that is saturated in dressing and uninteresting. Honestly, I found it did not measure up to the hype. And there's a lot of pizza joints in the area to compete with. If they're gonna do it right, they need to step up the game or make it more reasonably priced. read more

The adults ordered salads and pizza off the chefs menu but it was nice to get plain cheese for the kids. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. Totally bizarre experience. Noticed this spot as I was leaving another business in the same plaza. Thought what a great night to support a local business. Stood outside by the entrance door, reading the menu for about 10 mins. Employee returning from a pizza delivery greeted me and smiled as I was digesting the menu. I walked in ready and excited to order. Another employee interrupts my walk to the counter to tell me that I can't bring in my lidded QT drink because it was a health violation. I smiled and said oh I'm getting the pizza to go. He asked if I'd called to place the order. I said no, I was gonna place it at the counter. He repeated you can't bring that drink in, it's a health code violation. I waited ... for him to offer me an alternate option like... you can order than wait outside until it's done, or I'll come outside and get your order or even why don't you call in, wait in your car then come and grab your pie. Nope. Nothing. I guess there wasn't any interest in my business. What a memorable first time experience. read more

Let's start by saying that the service was great. Alisha, our server, was extremely gracious, attentive, and very efficient. As for the food...hmmm. We ordered the GA Apples and Arugula (can't mess that up), and the Giorgio Salad was very good as well. As for the Camp North Star, the meatballs served with this item were either leftover from previous day, over-cooked, or both! While my mouth watered for fresh and juicy meatballs, I received meatballs that were dry, hard, burnt and luke-warm, covered with luke-warm marinara! Next I asked for bread with my meal, and after 10 minutes of waiting, after being told that the bread was in the oven, we received cold bread that was also burnt, and at second glance, looked to be molded (I have photos). When we inquired about the bread, we were told that it was just flour (if you say so...). I've heard good things about this place, so I'm pretty sure this was just one of those days. read more
