This place is the absolute worst. Bartender Leah was rude AF when me and my girl went to the bathroom. Literally twenty feet away and gave total attitude for not wearing a mask. We went anyways. Then asked what the issue was afterwards claiming she had "no idea" why me and my girl were irritated. If she had asked us to put a mask on....no problem. But to say "what? No masks? Either of you?" I can't say enough good things about this place. I decided to try it out after a friend mentioned there was a banner outside saying that they showed all of the Golden Knights games, and wow was it an unexpected delight. I had the option of watching the game from either the bar or the dining room. There were plenty of TVs so that no seat was unable to see the game, and they made sure the sound was loud enough to hear, but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation. The food was EXCELLENT. The prices very reasonable, and our waiter was fantastic. Seriously, he made our night. I will most definitely be going back there in the future, this is my new go-to spot to watch hockey in Vegas. read more

We went there looking for a restaurant and what we found was a bar with food. I should have realized that when I read the other reviews. Seems like a local place where the bartenders have friends/following, but unfortunately we came there for a meal. Service was blindingly slow, almost a half hour before they took our order, no refills on our soft drinks or water because I suspect the waitress was hiding because she knew we were unhappy and had nothing to bring us from the kitchen. Took more than an hour to even get a club sandwich. Place wasn't crowded at all and the menus is super basic so I don't know what the problem was in the kitchen. Pleasantly surprised by this bar located on the corner of Maryland Pkwy and Pebble. Met some friends for a few beers, and service was very nice. Good bartenders. When we were done gaming, some people came in who wanted to game so we were asked to move to a table. We moved to the table and within minutes an order of nachos appeared. We all looked at each other wondering who ordered it. The bartender came over and said it was on the house, thanks for moving. Nice touch! We ordered some food, I went with the bacon cheeseburger. Applewood smoked bacon and Angus beef....really good. Fresh fine chopped lettuce, tomato, onion, all for $8.95! That's a burger bargain right there! My friend had steak fajitas and the steak was cooked perfectly. This is customer service you don't see too much anymore in corporate Vegas. Mulligan's Border is one of a boat load of taverns around Las Vegas and while it has your standard bar and video poker it also has really good food and great service. They take their bar food to the next level by understanding how to prepare and serve it. It is fair to say that I have had just about everything on the menu there and I have not found anything that disappointed me. My personal standard is just a simple burger cooked medium rare. The burger comes to me juicy and tasty and the bun is toasted correctly so it does not fall apart. There is something to be said for a good burger and that alone has kept me and my wife coming back for more. We call this place our "Cheers" because everyone seems to know our names. They do not have a huge menu, but the menu they have they do well and I like that. You can tweak your meal here and their and they do not put up a fuss and if the server does not know if it can be done he talks to the chef and they get it done. Like I said, service is top notch. They may not "Crumb the Table" but they do make your experience there as good as possible and that too is commendable. Yeah, me and my wife are fans and we go there several times a week. I got fish and chips... which were just as good as all of the other fish and chips i've had in my life. This is a good example of a Las Vegas original: A "locals pub." These are places to drink, eat, watch sports and gamble (sorry, I mean "game") all at once, or just do one or the other of the above...and either with groups of friends, a date, or just by yourself. Mulligans meets these expectations well with solid, consistent food and service. Seems to be a favorite with local law enforcement, since whenever we drive by, there's usually one or two police cars parked there (for the food, of course, as it's a safe neighborhood!) Mulligans is not too much to look at on the outside, but inside you can either head left to the bar area or right to the restaurant area, both decorated in Southwestern style, with cool movie posters and Western memorabilia on the walls and TV's to watch Sunday football on. In our visits, we've only been to the restaurant side, but people on the bar side look like they're having fun watching sports and playing video poker. What you look for in a locals pub in terms of food is what you get at Mulligans- standard bar food with your typical appetizers, hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, pasta and breakfast items with a couple of cool twists (try the breakfast burrito or the Cobb salad to see what I mean.) Plus, if you are like me, the type of person who needs hash browns, not "breakfast potatoes" with your eggs and bacon, they've got that here, unlike some other locals pubs. We've been there for breakfast and lunch and there are various specials (both food and drink) depending on when you are there. But even at full price, it won't break the bank. Being a locals pub, you can expect mostly good service with the occasional off-day- once when we were there, the waitress took forever to notice us and took a while to take our order and return with drinks...and then she got the order wrong. But the other times we've been, service has been good and the wait staff is definitely helpful and friendly. Three stars rather than five because neither the menu nor beer selections are as broad as at other locals pubs and having been there a few times now, we've not had to really look hard to choose our favorite items, but for a place with consistent service and well-executed standard fare, it's a good place to have in your rotation. read more

This place made me so angry. We were in Vegas to watch a softball tournament just down the road, and stopped in here for food between games. We had 2 hours to eat, so no problem, right? Wrong. The waitress took about an half hour before she took our order, when she was told when we would need to leave. We didn't get food for a while. When we questioned if we could wait any longer and tried to cancel the food, she kept saying "The food is almost out". I have never written a negative review. I feel terrible about leaving this review, however I fell that the people in my area should what happened to me, before proceeding to come to this establishment. On 1/13/16 at around 8:00 pm I was looking for a great local bar in my area to have a few drinks and unwind from a days work . I decided to stop at mulligans for a drink, still in my business attire. Upon entering the bar, the bartender a white middle aged man with a bald head. I believe his name was Aaron was very unfriendly, and took a while to even acknowledge me. He finally asked me what I wanted to drink. I ordered a Heineken and paid for my drink immediately. I then sipped on my beer and was texting on my phone conducting business . Approximately 30 minutes later the same bartender rudely walked up to me and told me that I was not welcome to lotier in his establishment, and that I needed to leave immediately . I asked him why as I did not talk to anyone or do anything out of line. He replied back that since you have only ordered 1 beer that I was not welcome. He was insinuating that since I was not gambling where I was sitting then I was not welcome there. I feel that I was a victim as I paid for my drink, and was there less then an hour. I feel that I was personally discriminated against, there was many open machines available at the time. I respectfully walked out, and then called the bar on the phone, The same bartender answered the phone. I explained that I did not feel I was treated fairly and that I wanted the to talk with the bartenders superior the following day. The bartender then told me he was the General Manager and have to have a nice life. I have never in my life been treated to poorly, I do not recommended this establishment to anyone. Came in one evening with my husband. Sat ourselves in the in the restaurant side. Our server was Dreama and she was so personable, and nice. She made very helpful recommendations. I was very surprised at how slow it was in there being the service was excellent and the food was really good. And apparently that's not unusual for it to be so slow. Weird. Well we ordered salads to start, the only thing I would change is maybe some shredded cheese in the salad. Then, I ordered the fish and chips, if I had more than two thumbs, they all would be up. My wife and I bought a house just around the corner and we were looking for a good locals pub to hang out and talk. We tried other pubs nearby that state they are for locals, but they weren't for us. we like a place that is friendly, good food and good price with a chill environment. We went to Mulligan's this past Saturday night and found our home. This place was awesome. We went to the bar area and sat at a bar table for 2. waiter came right over and we ordered our drinks. very nice guy and the beer was super cold. We ordered some wings and onion rings along with a sandwich we shared. the food was great, absolutely no complaints. what really set this place apart from all others was the customer service and friendliness of the staff. even though this was an obvious locals place, they made us feel welcomed and made sure everything was perfect. we had about 3 beers each and wandered over to the poker machines to throw some money away. The bartender smiled and said all our drinks were comped and gave us a tab for only the food we ate. very gracious of him and to show our appreciation for the service we left a tip larger than our food bill. we can't wait to come back here and repeat the experience. read more
