What I had loved the most about Mundial was their matcha! It's so hard to come by good matcha in the IE, so I was happy when I found a local cafe that did it right in flavor and color. Now, the few times I've gone this year have been a hit or miss. Most of the time, I'm left disappointed. It seems that the quality has gone down - it doesn't have the same deep green color or rich flavor anymore. I do like Mundial, but I'm not sure if I'd like to come again and take a chance on how my matcha latte will come out that day. The ambiance is always very warm & inviting & very diverse which I love. Everyone is always kind and willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu. It's always very clean & they have fun community events often. Their drinks are also good every time & recently I've noticed they've been offering more variety which is a huge plus. We traveled to Riverside, CA to review Mundial Coffee. This Mexican-Latino inspired coffee shop offered tons of coffee drinks and flavors that we were super excited to explore! This location is a high rated coffee shop, so we were ready to see the amazing coffee they can brew. Mundial is also a spacious location with a very cute environment with nice art and merchandise. We ordered the Brown Sugar oat latte! The quality of the coffee was delicious, the beans were perfectly roasted and did not taste burnt. The acidic texture was not overbearing as the bitter coffee flavor. It all blends so well with the brown sugar sweetness, which is not overpowering. This drink is a pleasant and comforting--and save choice of coffee for those wanting to try out lattes! We also ordered their iced Lavender Latte to compliment the warm day! The coffee has a delicious strong flavor, reminding you of the type of drink you ordered. Mixed with the delicious caffeine is the floral flavors blended with the silky and milky textures of the oat milk. This drink is totally a must! We also ordered regular matcha and strawberry matcha, which received major compliments and praise with their great flavor and care of the matcha taste. I've been here a handful of times already. Every interaction has been great! This cafe is Hispanic/Latino owned, which I love. It is beautifully decorated and has a greenhouse feel without actually being one. I really like the vibe in this place, definitely chill and laidback. There are plants everywhere for sale and there is Hispanic culture everywhere you look. They also have mugs, pozole powder, stickers, and cute little trinkets for sale. On their menu, they have drinks and a breakfast/lunch menu with sandwiches and pastries. The drinks menu is unique, like the mud water and the mocha Mexicano. I usually get the matcha, which is very well made. On this day, I got the earl grey matcha. This was part of their fall menu. The cafe is usually always has a lot of people and it was busy. Seating inside can be limited, but it is a good size decent area. They have a few tables inside and outdoor seating. Usually when I come, most of the tables inside are occupied. I didn't have too long, despite this. Probably only 5 minutes. The baristas are friendly and care about the customers. They have a killer menu (food & coffee) from their Avocado Toast & Cafe de Olla Cold Brew to their seasonal lattes & Chipotle Chicken Sandwich. I wanted what I tasted not some random matcha I would have to take a gamble on the flavor and quality. What actually made me upset and what I do regret purchasing is the bootleg Jalepeno avacodo toast. First I feel bamboozled because the one I received looked nothing like the once I seen in the reviews (I added it so yall can see the difference). The one in the reviews look worth the price I paid NOT the one i actually got. My bread was hardly toasted, still super soft. The avocado spread tasted pre packed store bought spread not fresh avocado. They didn't even use nice heirloom tomatoes, no sprouts nothing super plain and basic and definitely not worth the $13 I paid for it. Would give it a 3.5/5 Came here for the first time. On first glance really cute small business with curated items for sale. They also have a community library outside. Coffee was PRICEY, just under $10 for this small seasonal drink but it was tasty. They do have an app for rewards to I appreciate that. Wifi is good, bathroom was clean. Plenty of parking. A modest amount of seating available indoor and outdoors - there seems to be room for more indoors. Outdoor seating is not very shaded. They only have one outlet/power strip inside here so might be difficult to study for a long amount of time. My biggest qualm is that it was so LOUD no matter where you sit inside. My noise cancelling headphones didn't do anything - for certain songs I felt like I was in a club with the bass vibrating in my chest. There were a few people trying to study or meet others for coffee and it was difficult over the music. Not really a welcoming environment. I heard at least one other customer remark on how loud it was before leaving. I would not come back to study or sit inside.
