I think the food got a little better with the name change. We had a BBQ chicken pizza and it was really good. Surprisingly good for a sports bar. I liked their old chicken tenders but it came unwanted fries. Now it's just tenders that were good but different than before less coating. I loved their"Murphy Sauce". The crew working there last visit were all friendly and attentive, that was not a given at Shea's. I read a review below that mentioned an "insane" bartender. Back then I would have asked "Which one?". Not an issue lately. read more

My favorite place to come watch games. The staff is so accommodating in making sure the TV's are tuned in to the games the patrons want to see. Food is amazing, especially the buff chic dip and Cobb salad. Jessica and Alexis always give such attentive service. They make sure the night is filled with fun vibes. We've been here many times before as it's our favorite local patio bar. There's live music (and crowds) on weekend nights in warm weather but we stopped in for lunch Sunday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. We practically had the place to ourselves! There were around 10 total people on the patio so we had a server almost dedicated to just us and therefore service was excellent! Checked on us every few minutes. We started with a cocktail and some sweet chili wings. They were served hot and were good. Moist and fairly meaty. She had a burger and fries and I had 1/2 Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. The rings were very (too) greasy but everything else was good. The Philly was served on a pretzel roll which was soft and different. I liked it. The grinder was served super hot and the cheese was so hot it never really cooled while I was eating it - which is a good thing I like hot food!! Overall we had an enjoyable stop. Had our pick of seats - found a nice shady high top to call home and had cold beverages, decent finger food and excellent service! This place is huge. I'm not a fan of sports bars, and definitely not a fan of on-site betting. Attended as a "private party" / club function. We had a private space upstairs that was well removed from the rest of the establishment. Menu has a lot to choose from. I chose the "Meatball Salad", described as a salad topped with meatballs and served with bread. Not quite accurate. Was more like an entire small pizza dough, topped with salad and meatballs with sauce. I added Italian dressing. This was a solid choice and very enjoyable. Cocktail menu had typical choices (martinis, mules, old fashioned), I tried the honey old fashioned which was server in a pint glass with a straw. Challenge accepted. A little too much ice but tasted good. Pro tip, drink quickly before the ice melts. Server Erika P did a great job handling multiple checks from 20 ish guests. Everything on time and correct! Good selection of beer, but the food... and how the bar help and management handled it was so bad! We ordered a couple of appetizers and found a long hair in the dip! After we held it up to bartender, she just took the hair and ran off. Then we found a second one.. and then another! We were so grossed out and no one said anything to us. No "sorry", nothing. We pushed the food back and my husband told her we weren't eating it. We might've ordered another drink, but the bartenders just ignored us after that, so we asked for the bill. Another customer at the bar who saw us pulling out the long hairs even tried to get their attention for us! The food was still on the tab even though they finally picked it up and threw it in the garbage. We were going to just leave a $20. bill to cover our 2 beers, but after they ignored us, we took it back and left $15. on a $12. tab. The 2 bartenders were obviously complaining to each other about us. Even the manager gave us a faked sympathy of "oh, I'm so sorry" after trying to avoid us. Accidents happen all the time, but at least own up to it and apologize as any adult knows to do. And tell your kitchen help to keep their hair back and covered. Or just DO NOT eat here!! read more

This is the most disgusting place I've ever eaten. The bar tender was crazy and had a meltdown. she attempted refusing service because she was insecure and ugly. She even threatened to call the police because I "looked at her weird." The food is the most disgusting around. The drinks are weak and taste terrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They deserve to be closed down because the food is going to give everyone indigestion. there is no one here, and once you try it you will understand why. We had a triple retirement party at Shea's this week. The owner was so accommodating, helpful and pleasant! The wait staff was phenomenal and the food was SO good! The two women who worked with our party were so attentive, very kind and super sweet. They went ABOVE and BEYOND! They even set up a microphone and speaker so that I could make a speech for the retirees. I could not have asked for a better setting for this retirement party. The venue looks like a bar/ restaurant that you would see in Key West and the music is always top notch. I have been there for their entertainment, many, many times. It is always wonderful! The singer was kind enough to do a shout out to the retirees and sing a special song for them. It was just so special! Overall, you cannot find a better place to have a party or enjoy an evening out with friends. I HIGHLY recommend Shea's Pizzeria & Sports Bar!!! read more

We had a great time there recently and we've eaten there a few times but we ordered the large nachos and they put parchment paper on the tray and cooked the nachos and cheese. Hey Shea's, the cheese adheres to the parchment paper and makes the bottom layer inedible. Good drinks , good service, food less than good. I was in Manchester for a meeting and said I'd bring some appetizers. So I stopped in Shea's because it was close by and the menu seemed extensive. Wasn't exactly sure where to go in. The restaurant is in the Kohls parking lot so parking is in the back and sides of the building. Not really clear where to walk in? I did park on the far side and walked around to the front hoping I'd get lucky. As I entered in the front, there was a banquet room to my left, a giant bar and multiple table section to my right and then a patio area in the back. Being a rainy Tuesday the place was seemingly empty. I sat at the bar where there was 2 patrons and waited for someone to greet me. After a few minutes I walked back to the banquet area where it looked like they were preparing for a group. No one there. I sat back at the bar and a bartender finally arrived. Apparently she was waiting tables on the patio?? Okay...she was pleasant and I asked her about some suggestions for my meeting. I ordered bruschetta, corned beef type egg rolls and sausage sliders-her recommendation. While I waited I asked for a cranberry and oj with a little seltzer. It was served in a large plastic red cup with a plastic straw . Luckily the food was ready fairly quickly. I gave her my credit card to pay my bill (she did not charge me for my drink). Their computers went down. She had to swipe my card a few times. This delay affected my food. I did like that the bruschetta was not completely built- the toppings were in separate containers but there was cheese on the bread which I found odd. I did not try the sausage sliders but were told they were good. The corned beef egg rolls had 2 sauces -thousand island and mustard, and were decent. So not the worst experience but could've been better. read more

Very cool spot to enjoy sports on their MANY televisions (and NFL Sunday Ticket...YAY!). Great outdoor seating area with a stage where live bands play spring, summer, and fall. Two outdoor bars with televisions outside as well. A Winners (horse racing betting) location is there also. They even have a pool table and video games. So much to do and enjoy here. Friendly (although sometimes slow...hence no 5 star review) service. The food is above-average in my opinion for a sports bar. The marinara is surprisingly tasty, and goes well with their good meatballs and sausage and peppers. Their homemade chili is solid, and their pizza, while somewhat generic, is very tasty with a hint of sweetness to it's crust...which I love. read more

Watch your check! Bartenders didn't smile or give any attention. Couple next to us told how they were charged more than menu price. It's was only $3 but only got a $1.50 credit. I wouldn't have even paid attention to check and went to just lay card down. Stopped to look at it and was the wrong check after they already had my card then asked the name. Said I would get refunded after a day for wrong bill tomorrow while getting confronted in face to face over it. I'm not a "Karen" (no offense to nice Karen's). Drive home I remembered that previous derby I found a wrong $200 charge from them that also got refunded. I know people make mistakes but don't be so mean and unprofessional. Don't worry about masks, their signs says yes, but all the customers there say no way! Only the waitresses and staff wore them and also gloves, thank you Shea's staff! I know you need the business but your sign says 'no mask, no service'. I know it's unpopular but make your customers wear masks during non drinking, smoking and eating periods. You even made us go out a separate exit (which was no big deal) and we were the ONLY customers wearing masks. Who cares about exits and entrances when no one is wearing a fucking mask? You even went so far to check all of the customers temperatures at the door, which again is great, but WTF?! It does nothing if you don't require patrons to wear masks, like your sign outside clearly states! read more

I stopped in here after work on a Monday after hearing they had a good happy hour. Unfortunately in these times they aren't offering any happy hour specials, so disregard the info on the website. Regardless the inside was well spaced for tables and had clear dividers between seats at the bar which was nice. Service was a bit slow, the bartenders took a while to come take our order and check on us. However once we did place an order the drinks and then food came out pretty quickly. We got a well gin and soda and then an order of 10 lemon pepper wings. The gin and soda was good, and only about $8 which was good considering no happy hour. The wings were also good, seasoned well and crispy. The menu says they are grilled however the wings definitely seemed deep fried to me, so something to just keep in mind. It was pretty cold inside so wear a sweater if you take a visit. But I'd recommend a stop in, the prices for the food and drinks was reasonable. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. They had the worst food I've ever seen in my life (seen because it smelt so bad we couldn't eat it after one bite). People were commenting around the restaurant about how bad it smelled... We believe it was cooked old food (fish and chips). At this point we realized no one else was eating food. We got an appetizer that was moderate and large. The entrees were the worst l've seen in my whole life. They were mildly heated and not nearly as hot as they should be... .... I could have cooked it hotter in my microwave for 2 minutes. The baked Mac and cheese with pulled pork was not baked, served with ziti noodles and shredded white pork barely garnished on the noodles. The vodka pasta tasted like plastic.... Idk about you but l'm not Barbie and I would like to enjoy my damn food if I'm going to be paying for it. On the other hand the server was great, very attentive and took the fish and chips off the bill when we sent them back. The music was good. I just moved into the area from south Atlanta, and my neighbors took me with them to Shea's on a Saturday, July 24 when Just Below Me was performing. The band was delayed by an hour (technical stuff), but they were great once they got started. Great range of songs! The drinks were just okay (pricey and a bit watered down). The nachos were decent, but the Philly cheesesteak grinder the server recommended was fantastic. Next time I'll probably get beers, but I'll definitely be back. Every single time I order from here I get baked ziti no sausage, get allllll the way home to find sausage. Is it that hard of an order??? Seriously every time, looking for more sausage I noticed a lack of ricotta cheese, until I found this lump on the one side. The ricotta is supposed to mixed in with the ziti guys come on $40 in food and it's all messed up? Do better! Husbands chicken park was also a WASTE burnt chicken, and watery soggy noodles. Wish yelp allowed less stars. Every time we get these orders wrong we call and they says "mention it the next time your in" but forget when you mention it. I visited this location once when it was under "Tomato's" management and the service was terrible..... sorry to say, it remains the same. We had to approach the bar to place our order since no waiter/waitress approached us. Not only, two men who had just sat 20 mins after we have arrived received service before we did. The bar tenders are not friendly nor have an approachable personality. An elderly couple sat next to my group of friends and I, we were by a long table a few feet from the bar, I mentioned to my group that it was either going to be a quick service to them because of their age..... On Saturday December 18th my boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch, and let the issues begin, 1st the waitress didn't even see us for almost 15 min, we were ready to leave when she finally came over with menus, ordered a beer and ginger ale took almost 15, seriously, then came the food order issue 2 eggplant parm grinder and chicken quesadilla and onion rings, what came was eggplant dinner, quesadilla and onion rings, it took almost 35 minutes, the place wasn't overly busy as it was about 3 in the afternoon, the quesadilla was cold, the eggplant was meh, safe very watery, when waitress came back to check I asked her if that looked like a grinder, she said no, and didn't hear that he wanted a grinder, she was standing closer to him than I was sitting and I heard him. At this point we were both annoyed and just wanted to leave, issue 3 the bill, took over 10 minutes then she never came back, so I took it to the bartender she had an attitude that I was giving her the bill with my card, called the waitress to deal with it, which she did. The tip should have been a penny, but in the spirit of the holiday I gave her 5.00. Never again will I visit this establishment, service and attitude, not acceptable food less than appealing. read more

Stop by last Friday for happy hour on a beautiful day. Shea's @ Tomato Joes is a great place to enjoy the sunset. They had an acoustic singer who sounded great They had $4 beer special and we ordered a few snacks. The mussels picante we ordered were spot on. It's served with red or white sauce. We choose white. It's sautéed with garlic herbs and white wine. Served with a couple of pieces of toasted bread perfect for dipping. We also got an order of fried mozzarella which was a good as to be expected. The house marinara was well done. The last thing I ordered were the garlic knots and we were not a fan. We brought them home for the boys and they did care for them neither. They are too dense , not light and fluffy like you would expect. The Alfredo sauce they drizzle on top really made them too heavy for me. We will be back to enjoy the outside part of Shea's and prob get a pizza next time as those are getting good reviews . read more

Pizza-wise, 5 stars, and then some, all the way. That's the important thing. I stopped into Tomato Joe's on a Saturday night around 7:30pm with my boyfriend. There have been marked improvements to the building and layout since it was Shea's, though it looks like Tomato Joe's is still getting it's new restaurant sea legs. The hostess and take-out stands, for example, were kind of a hot mess. Staff was ample, but every single staff member seemed to be pulled in a million directions. We were seated after a less than ten minute wait, but it was fifteen minutes before any staff member even acknowledged us, though our both was flanked by booths already being served. Chelsea was the only reason we didn't get up and walk out, which we were on the verge of doing. She stopped by and asked if anyone had been to our table, and then graciously added us to her section even though we were clearly not her responsibility. She then proceeded to turn our whole experience around. Chelsea cheerfully took our order- a regular size house salad, and The Queen Margarite Pie- and had the salad at our table within five minutes. It was a glorious mix of field greens, and the house balsamic was delicious. The salad was also enormous and plenty for the two of us to share. Our pizza was out in another ten minutes, and it too was gigantic for only $19.99! Honestly, it was the best pizza I've ever had in Manchester. Crushed tomato base, big chunks of garlic, fresh basil, and mozz made this a classic dream on a thin crust. For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake, which was by far one of the best desserts I've ever had anywhere. Simply outstanding. Overall, the service and management of staff needs a whole lot of improvement, from my experience. However, if you can overlook that while they smooth it out, the food is truly worthy of praise and an excellent value. So, put on your patient pants and go try them out! read more

Sheas patio has been my favorite bar for a couple years now. I go there almost every week in the summer time, I love it! The bar tenders are great, food is all amazing and there is a great drink selection. I'm in love with their pizza especially chicken bacon ranch and buffalo chicken but the wings are also very good and cheap! The live music and cornhole boards make it even better to spend long summer nights there! read more

Awful. Walked through the patio area (which is open from the parking lot) and find no one at the patio host stand. Walk to the closest employee and say excuse me .. where do we go to be seated? She continues to text and acts like I am inconveniencing her without looking up from her phone. If you want thin crust pizza, they have it. If you want a tasty steak and cheese grinder, they have it! We ordered takeout and live about 15 minutes away, and everything was still warm and delicious when we got home. They have interesting options for special pizzas, or you can make your own (we recommend pepperoni and banana peppers!). You can have parties here and reserve a section of the restaurant, too, and they do catering. Check the website for live music events. read more
