And these camrys run forever which is why I was wanting it. I have had a couple friends have these exact camrys go well up above 350,000 miles. All it's needed this far was simple maintenance, oil change, brakes on the front, tires, a radiator hose that blew, and an alternator which according to a lot of Camry owners goes out about 270k-280k miles so nothing I wouldn't expect. Thank you for the great deal and for passing the savings on to me with your very low dealership fees compared to almost anyone in the area. The salesman Lee was an amazing person to deal with. No pressure and very helpful. We ended up buying the car and when we got it home that night found a mechanical problem with the car. I called them the next day and they told me to bring the car into them and they would fix it. They did everything they said they would do and put a new set of tires on for it for the inconveniences. The owner Brad, finance manager Nester, and the great Salesman Lee Jennie went above and beyond to make sure the car was right. I would absolutely recommend them if you are looking for a used car. At some point all vehicles will require some maintenance, and it's disingenuous to think the owner knows a water pump or oxygen sensor might go out after you've driven it back and forth to South Lake Tahoe 5 times I dealt with Brad, the owner, today and found him to be down to earth, forthright and honest. We didn't do a deal today, but based on my experience, he's the only "used car salesman" I'd consider dealing with in Reno.

Several sites found several cars that fit the bill but I wasn't ready to pull the trigger. Last week, the AMEX Car Buying site pulled up 3 MB GLK-350s locally and I decided to check out 2 of them. I had done my research and knew the GLKs options and features well, so I contacted MB-Reno and HSAS (on Mill St). Both cars fit my needs, however, to get to my number: MB-Reno suggested my 4Runner be included as a trade (valuing it at $4,300) while I determined it was worth closer to $7K HSAS (Jorge) came close to my out-the-door price in our first meeting without much back-n-forth, without my trade, and agreed to accept AMEX so I could get AMEX travel points. A few days later I took their GLK for test drive #1. It behaved nicely but I waited a few more days to see if my head was in the right place (and during this window Jorge did NOT pressure me at all). Given it was worthy of a second (better) look we came in on Sunday (quieter), put $20 in the tank so we could take it for a long drive, and it passed the majority of our test. I felt the need for a 4-wheel alignment and I also asked HSAS to confirm the warranty covered AWD. I asked Jorge to hold the car so I could get AMEX pre-approved and came in few days later to finalize the deal. Sat with Jorge and respectfully, we calmly knocked out a deal: 1. HSAS provided a 3-year/50K full powertrain warranty thru a different vendor (vs 6 months) - and Jorge covered the additional cost 2. The 4-wheel alignment was completed off-site before we came in and the vendor's printout showed the rear wheels were out - Jorge covered the cost 3. HSAS stuck to the out-the-door price we agreed to 6 days earlier which I appreciated VERY MUCH, and all told, I came away feeling I paid a fair price - a price I had pre-determined as acceptable - and Jorge & HSAS made a profit, which any business should expect. My overall experience with HSAS and Jorge in 3 words: VERY professional, calm AND considerate. HSAS does their best to please customers and I'm pleased to recommend them to the used car buying public. Keep in mind, a buyer of a used car should know - when you buy a used car, you're buying a car someone else used (sometimes abused) for a while. Sometimes quite a while, and oftentimes it too was traded in because it too was "tired" Time will tell if our MB GLK-350 continues to "behave nicely". I'll let you know

A few weeks ago I purchased my first car from Bill Pearce, which was a used Toyota RAV4. Naturally, there were some questions that arose during the sales process, such as what I should do if something were to go wrong with the car soon after I bought it. Would they take care of it, or tell me to pound sand like most other dealerships would be inclined to do when buying an as-is used car? The salesman, Scott, assured me that they would do what they could to make it right. I figured I'd hope for the best. When I was ready to buy the car, I noticed that (through no fault of anyone) there were tiny tar splatters all over the hood and left side of the car. It's likely that it was driven past a construction site at some point. One of the employees named Alex came out and helped me remove it with a buffing wheel and polishing compound. He didn't have to do that, so I greatly appreciated it! I drove it off the lot without issue and they even knocked $600 off the price due to some minor cosmetic damage on the car. I was skeptical at first about Scott's assurances, but all doubt was removed when my car started to have problems with the paint chipping almost immediately from a small area on the hood. I suspect it had to do with the insulator on the underside of the hood coming off, which then caused the heat from the engine to heat up the hood and make the paint bubble/chip. I realize that I should have checked under the hood before I drove off with the car. I only found out when I got home and found the insulator sitting on top of the engine instead of being attached to the underside of the hood where it belonged. I do not blame Bill Pearce for any of this. I now know for a fact that they would have fixed this immediately if they had known too. I told Scott and their used car manager, Joseph, about the issue and he immediately told me to bring it in to them. As someone with a marketing degree, I can tell that these men deeply care about their reputations and first impressions. I showed them the paint chips and bubbles (which had spread over the course of a week) and brought back the detached hood insulator. Joseph told me to leave the car with them, no questions asked. Well I went down and picked up the car from them yesterday (as of when I wrote this) and I couldn't be happier. Joseph personally touched up the chipped paint, sanded out the bubbles, and applied an even coating of touch up paint to the damaged section. He also clear coated it. Not only that, he personally fixed the hood insulator, cleaned it, and securely attached it to the bottom of the hood. Speaking of which, the hood also had some residual tar splatter on it that I had been meaning to get to, but have not yet found the time. Well, not anymore, because Alex removed all of the remaining tar! Not only that, but they also polished the headlights which had been a bit fogged up when I bought the car! None of this was charged to me. I made sure to thank each of them profusely for the superb service they have given me. Most other car places would have blown me off if I came back to them with even half of the problems I did. These people care about what they do and they care about making sure the customer has a good buying experience. They definitely wanted my first car to be perfect. While the car certainly had a couple problems, I did not have to stress over them at all because the people at Bill Pearce took care of everything, all while keeping me up to speed the whole time through calls and texts. I will be recommending this place to my friends who are in the market for new or used cars from now on, and I can confidently recommend this business to everyone else who would like a car from people who actually care about their customers.
