"Let me know if you have any questions!". We had questions about her menu items, and she answered them nicely and thoroughly, in detail. Okay, so we order two things: the S3 and the Spicy Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, and here's what U think about each: Tonkotsu Ramen: -The Meat doesn't have a huge initial, impactful taste, but the flavor settles in a couple seconds after you bite it and it's a very soft, warming feeling. -The Broth is where the spice is, and it's not like "oh my mouth is on fire" it's the type of spice that hits you in the back of the throat, so it's bearable but I couldn't chug it personally, I had to take sips which is nice for someone who devours their food like there's no tomorrow (like me). -The Noodles are.. just your typical Ramen noodles, nothing special to add there but nothing bad to say at all! -The Egg, although not marinated in soy sauce like some places do, was cooked well. The inside was soft and gooey, but the white was fully cooked. I have no complaints! -The Mushrooms added a nice texture to the noodles and the overall dish, and worked to make it even more satisfactory. The S3: -I don't have much to say because my cousin ordered it and I only had a few bites, but the veggies were cooked nicely... -The big boom about it was the noodles. If I had to describe it, I would say it's like.. an Orange Chicken type of Tater Tot, it was really unique and fun to eat. Next time I go, it'll be hard to decide what to order.. Okay, don't just take my word for it, go see for yourself! いただきます!

The broth had the perfect kick without overpowering the depth of the ramen, and everything came out hot and fresh. Parking was easy, food cart was easy to find! Mirakutei is a beautiful restaurant and has a refined dining area. I wouldn't say it's the most kid-friendly place (not because of the service or anything, it's just more for adults to enjoy a night out), but kids do enjoy it. I find the food here to be of good quality. The skewers I had had a delicious savory flavor and the asparagus rolls were really great. In fact, I'd suggest the vegetarian rolls any day of the week. They are lighter on the palate and I think will surprise people with how good they are. One of the nicest things about Mirakutei is that they offer gluten free ramen noodles. My wife is gluten intolerant and having gluten free noodles is awesome. I gave them a try and I'd say they are 85% of the way to your standard glutinous ramen noodle - which is pretty good I'd say. I'm always impressed when they can get gluten free food close to the original. My kid goes crazy for the unagi here. The unagi is nice and meaty with a good sweet sauce on the top. It's what keeps him coming back for more. I will note that one this most recent visit during lunch he (of his own fault) fell out of the chair and broke the bowl. All the rice and unagi fell to the ground. The staff at Mirakutei were quick to sweep it all up and make him a new one (on them). We found that to be extremely classy and appreciated that greatly. We'll certainly be back here when we next visit the Portland area... my kid will make sure of it.

I ordered the Dragon Roll and Las Vegas roll. Both were quite tasty. We also ordered the Agedashi Tofu as a starter, a 6 piece of the Oysters, the Salmon Sashimi Flight, and House Tonkotsu Ramen. The oysters were pretty small, but packed with flavor. The Salmon Sashimi tasted very fresh and we loved the assortment of pieces.

The space has a handful of tables and seating if you prefer eating inside, as well as some colorful benches along the outside of the establishment. The person at the POS had a friendly demeanor and also asked if the amount of shoyu sauce packets were enough or if I needed additional pair of chopsticks which was appreciative. The inari sushi were delicious and the tofu pockets were packed with ingredients which justifies the price and cost. They didn't even skim out of the amount of pickled ginger and wasabi! The tofu pockets had a light yet pleasant taste which did not overpower the taste and freshness of the fish. The truffle salmon and yuzu hamachi are my favorite inari sushi out of the ones I've tried. I was hoping the blackened tuna had more of a kick or the spices were more forward but it was still enjoyable. The mango salmon is definitely creative and creates a harmonious pairing of flavors.

The smoked salmon with inari was especially impressive--simple but so satisfying. I also had the Salmon Donburi. This ramen actually takes the cake as my least favorite ramen I've ever had :( When they don't give you a spoon with your ramen, I'm assuming it means you're not supposed to want the broth. That should've been my first bad sign. The broth smells weird, I was joking with my husband saying it smells like subway. The pork was DRY. I mean if I would've ate it there I would've returned it dry, and I neverrrr return food. The ramen comes with spinach, which is new for me, and I will definitely not elect for it again. I ordered miso with pork chashu and asked for it to be spicy... the broth taste like nothing. Taking a sip of water between bites and I can't taste the difference between the two. No salt, no flavor, nothing. The ingredients other than the spinach I can't taste. The spinach overpowered everything. So basically eating boiled spinach in water. I didn't need the forgotten spoon after all. The only decent thing is that the noodles are cooked well. The lady at the stand was very nice. The food came out in a decent time. Unfortunately, I'm not going back for seconds and wouldn't recommend someone to try their ramen. Cheap isn't always good for a reason. Sorry :(

And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Dog friendly, Kid friendly, 100-year old friendly. Lots of clean and tidy indoor and outdoor cafeteria-style seating to choose from. Carts are covered from the rain, but outside. Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!

We arrived on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and there were already some customers, but overall it was not busy. The staff greeted us right away and took us to our booth. The ladies were very accommodating with my friend's toddler by helping us get a child seat, a kid's drink, and a cute set of Peppa Pig training chopsticks. Needless to say, the kid loved it. One thing worth mentioning is their decoration. It's definitely meant to be maximally decorated with cuteness. On their feature wall, they had floor-to-ceiling shelves displaying Dragon Ball figurines. The rest of the restaurant was decorated with a lot of cute cat decorations. Also, there's no way you would miss the moving ramen advertising light box as it pulls the noodles up and down, grabbing your full attention. Seriously, I could stare at that machine for days. We ordered a black garlic ramen, miso ramen, and a chicken stir-fried noodle, and liked them all. The black garlic ramen has a layer of black garlic oil on top, making it look much darker and intimidating. To our surprise, the garlic flavor was subtle, so it was easy to eat. My miso ramen had a rich broth with two generous portions of chashu, with various toppings including corn, bamboo, wood ear mushrooms, and green onion. I had no problem finishing the entire bowl. We also got a bowl of stir-fried chicken noodles, and it was very generously portioned and tasted good. It was savory with a bit of sweetness. It was a big hit with my friend's toddler, as she kept asking for more. Overall, we liked this ramen shop. Not only does it have good food, it also has fun decorations to keep your eyes busy.
