Maybe I came in at a bad time? But, service seemed a bit overwhelmed with the diners who were already seated. The servers couldn't get it together. The food: Their chips and three salsas are good. I love their red salsa and my mother liked the green one. She had their carne asada Nachos (guacamole came with it but we didn't ask for it and thought it was part of the dish), I guess they're okay, no crema or sour cream. I had their Plato Mexicano which was a choice of three meats with rice and beans and tortillas. The menu should reflect what options come with the order, you can choose from four meats: carne asada, carne desebrada (shredded beef), chicharron and pork. The carne asada didn't come in a steak form, it was chopped up into little balls felt dry. I loved the carne desebrada, it was served with red chilli sauce with onions and it was delicious. I chose chicharron as my third choice but I didn't eat and I gave it to my mother to eat. The beans and rice were okay so was the small lettuce. The service: I was really disappointed in their service, I'm not sure if it was or wasn't Josephine. But, the server didn't ask me what type of tortillas I wanted with my meal. She also added guacamole to my mother's order of Carne Asada Nachos,which she did not ask for. We're not aware of that was an option. I didn't get asked for refills for my beverages, another young man helped out with that. I asked for more chips and I didn't get that until after twenty minutes of waiting by which time I declined because I was sure my order was coming. I hope if I go again I'll get someone else. The place: really nice, cozy, love their decor many Mexican actors and actresses on the wall. Of course, the love for the Commander Pancho Villa clearly on display. We parked on the street, since the meter was free on Sundays. Came here around 2-3. The place was empty. There are about 5 -6 tables inside the place. Very cozy with the decorations. We sat right in the middle. The table was dirty but the server was nice enough to clean it up for us. The server was very nice, since it was our first time here we didn't know what to order. He was willing to let us sample the pozole since, my boyfriend could not decide the red or the green one. Both of the soup were delicious! I would pick the red one with pork but, my boyfriend like the green one with chicken more. I got the wet burrito, half red and half green sauce with pork. I thought it would be el pastor but turn out to be carnitas instead.... The food was good. Really like their salsas. Their drinks are yummy too! Got the horchata and the melon. Yummy! We ate here several times while visiting a family member at USC hospital. It is one of the most delicious Mexican food spots I've ever encountered, and I've been to a lot!! Everything was so tasty, from the breakfast plate to the menudo. And the three salsas with chips you get when you sit, soo good!! I live in Nevada, but I can't wait to come back to 30/30 to try more dishes! The staff is awesome and they even accommodated our dog with a bowl of water while we were sitting out on the patio. Omg!! Stopped here for lunch after a grueling drive to get to USC-Keck. Hole-in-the-wall doesn't even begin to describe this tiny little place. The food is FABULOUS, service was really good, and prices were great. We even bought a bottle of their green salsa to take home because it was so good. They serve tortilla chips out of a bag from Vons, so those are really pedestrian, but their Pico salsa and their green salsa are so good, even the mediocre chips were elevated. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the sauce was basically a Cilantro soup. And the girl taking my order didn't mention that even after I told her that I don't like Cilantro. This place is very special, right across the street from work, so it's easily accessible. The staff is REALLY friendly, after some time they know who you are and will even learn your "usual order". The food is SO good, my favorites are the chilaquiles (green or red) and the tacos de birria. They also have other very tasty dishes like the enchiladas and their caldos are to die for! Then the waitress came and asked if we were ready to order, we asked for a couple minutes, still didn't offer any drinks. Simply amazing. Everything was delicious and unlike any other Mexican food I have tasted. The service was great, the food was great, the drinks were great, the place is simply beautiful. I ordered the plate called Huevos Divorciados, the plate was presented the same way it was pictured. The food was so full of flavor. Amazing little place! I absolutely adore the Pueblo vibe you get as soon as you enter the place. The wall pictures framed in wood are a must to look at. The food is DELICIOUS! Husband and I ordered the famous Enchiladas Huastecas and Plato Mexicano. The food has a homemade taste, which is what I look for when I eat Mexican food. The aguas are also very good, we drank agua de jamaica and melon. Both of them had a very good flavor and we're on point. Our server was so friendly and charismatic, I'm pretty sure she's the owner. It's a little messy and soggy which is a little off-putting, but its soft flavorful meat and salsa more the compensates for it. It's also super close to the County hospital which makes it a great option for hospital staff who want to expand their culinary options. Free chips and salsa if you dine in! Negatives: The burrito is served on a plate and comes wrapped in aluminum foil which detracts from its presentation. The place was a little small and cramped and is not the best place for large groups. Although, we did manage to squeeze our group of seven in a corner table. Cost: $5.75 for the Carne en Salsa Roja Burrito, although most main dishes were about $10 Tips: 1) They were able to split our bill individually which makes it easy for individuals to pay for their own meal. Best Mexican in the entire Los Angeles area. I have been going to this tiny family owned restaurant for about 7 years now, and it only gets better. The food is always consistent, delicious and the service is impeccable. We recently hired 30-30 for catering for my boyfriends bday at his house and I am so happy that we did. The food was delicious, the price was fair, and they left us with what was left over. All of our party guests were so impressed many of them even went for seconds. The kids, small and big, who we know are picky eaters had good options because the chicken was nicely seasoned, and they also surprised us with quesadillas and potato tacos. The agua frescas were a huge hit with some of our guests adding a little tequila or vodka to them for an adult beverage. So grateful for the families hospitality and professionalism.
