This review is in reference to my experience with ordering for delivery. I really want to support this business, the few times that I've gone in person to pick up desserts, they are delicious. But their online fulfillment is missing some attention to details. I ordered a catering pack that was supposed to include 30 mini concha's for a work event. Much to my surprise what was delivered was a small box with 6 concha's. Not acceptable to deliver to a business and get the order fulfillment wrong. Here I am trying to promote the business and they get the order wrong. This is the second time I've been put in a bind because the order is wrong. If the aroma of delicious pan dulce doesn't capture you, the warm concha's will. The warm soft pillowy sweet concha's are the best! They have a good assortment of pan dulce, pastels and other desserts including a delicious fruit tart. This is a great spot to visit after dinner to bring home a delicious treat. The customer service is great as well in that they do a good job explaining the menu if you have any questions. I've been seeing this place everywhere on social media. Whoever runs their social media accounts deserves a raise because they're doing a damn good job at it. However, their namesake panecitos are another story of its own. I had the red concha and it was okay. The bread was a bit on the dry side but it wasn't too bad. The service was terrible, place is manned by bratty teenagers who look miserable and apparently didn't receive any customer service training. The ambiance: quite a small space but is very cute and nicely decorated. It would be nice if they had a seating spot. I live in the area and there's not a lot of sit down cafes around. Came here on a Saturday morning with my family. This bakery serves some of the best concha's I've ever had! The store makes new conchas every 15 minutes so you always get a fresh batch. They have other desserts like cakes and milkshakes, but they just came out with a new concha ice cream sandwich!! You get to choose your concha and ice cream flavor, and then they heat press it. First of all the bread is warm and tasty from here but unfortunately today was a very odd day. My son was craving this place for a whole week and so we decided to take him at around 8:10pm, we drove 30minutes. We were purchasing the fiesta pack (12 pieces of bread) when my son was ordering his favorites, oreo concha and he had asked the cashier for vanilla conchas (which are his favorite) which she had over 30 of them in the container. She denied to give me son any of them because she said those were intended to be used to make the oreo conchas ($3.50/each, money maker I guess). It is ridiculous that we were not able to but any of them, I dont care if I had to pay them at $5, $10, or $20 dollars but denying a kid his favorite is a no no in my book. This will be the last time that I come to this place, you will not get my business from me anymore. By the way we drove down to La Esperranza bakery just to get vanilla conchas for my son. Upon entering the store, it looked like a cookie cutter version of Crumbl. The Pan dulce is cooked every 45 minutes. Also, the pan dulce is all served warm to you similar to Crumbl. The workers were incredibly helpful. Not only do they have pan dulce, they have a variety of drinks and cakes. I got a slice of tiramisu cake. It was good. Not a traditional italian tiramisu but a light vanilla cake with creamy coffee cream. It tasted fresh and moist, not dry or old. Will come again! My boyfriend liked the mazapan concha and I liked the vanilla concha the best. Also since the concha is so fresh and gourmet, I bought it around 12p and ate it around 8p and it was still so soft and plushy! I love conchas and tend to go to Northgate for one, but lately it feels like the conchas taste stale and dry so now I've avoided conchas ever since, but not anymore- Panecito you are my only concha store I'm buying from now on!
