Nothing but good things to say about Jake and the rest of the team at My Tire Guys. I've used them before a few years ago to swap winters/summers, and they were able to come right to my place of work and get the job done in the parking lot (which was great because at the time I did not have a driveway). Most recently, I had an issue with my front passenger tire after using a local shop to put my summer tires on. The local place missed an underlying issue with my wheel, and as a result I lost pressure and came dangerously close to permanently damaging my wheel and tire on the ride home. I called Jake the next day and described the issue, and he had an appointment scheduled for me a day later. The team came out and not only found the issue, but rectified the problem and explained to me exactly what happened and how they fixed it. Very professional and courteous, competitively priced (even compared to local "mom and pop" shops), and most importantly, trustworthy. At any point they could've told me the rim and tire were irrevocably damaged and I had to buy new ones to the tune of $1000+, but instead took the time to figure out the problem and fix it and communicated everything to me throughout the process. Less than $200 later and everything was good to go. I cannot recommend My Tire Guys highly enough. Learned my lesson going with the "local" place last time and will definitely continue to use My Tire Guys going forward with all my vehicles. read more

I found My Tire Guys through a google search, not wanting to sit in a dirty, germ ridden retail tire place. I recently moved to the Boston area from Los Angeles and needed snow tires for winter for the first time since 2004. They were quite responsive on the phone and very helpful as to what kind of tire I should purchase. Very professional and their pricing wasn't the lowest nor the highest, a perfect price point for being able to relax in my own home while they do the work. I was super pleased with Jake and his guys and service. I was in the midst of a house repair emergency and the guys just did their thing. Easy peasy and they were so polite. They weren't aware that I had requested my all season tires to be put in my basement and almost left with them, I was so distracted. Luckily, I remembered before they left and they went ahead and took them out of their truck and put them in the basement. I don't do much yelping anymore but I wanted to pop in and recommend this service as both legit and awesome. I was chopping the icy snow from around my car tires with a sharp garden hoe last month after an ice storm and guess what happened? I chopped my tire and gave myself a flat. As mentioned ,the roads were icy and I felt jacking up my car to put on the boot would be a bit dicey. Plus, it was cold AF. So I found this service, and via call and e-mail arranged to have them come up to my burg to replace my front two tires (which, in truth were pretty aged anyway and ready to be retired). The gentleman I dealt with recommended a tire based on my last tire purchase from the now defunct Sears Auto. He didn't try to upsell me or try to get me to replace all four tires instead of just two. The price, with service included, was *very* reasonable. Although they generally want you to be around when they arrive, they made an exception for me so I wouldn't have to miss more work waiting for them. They came out to my house, swapped in the new tires and for all I know, kissed a frog and turned it into Prince. Would the tire guys ever take the place of your man (to continue the dumb joke)? No, but they ought to take the place of your tire store. They are da bomb (and I'm old now so my saying that really means something). read more

Since I live in an apartment I don't have a place to store my snow tires until I need them in winter. My old snow tires were at a friend's house an hour away, which I realized was not sustainable. Plus I needed new snow tires anyway. So finding My Tire Guys was such a relief! They got me the new tires I wanted and installed them quickly. They then took off with my regular tires, which they stored for me until they switched out my tires earlier this month. The whole process was so simple. I emailed them, they quickly responded, and we made the plan. They store your tires in some magical place and then check in before and after winter to set up a time to switch them out. Tire Rack also transfers your info so they know who you are, how to contact you and what your car make/model is. My Tire Guys come to your *house* and baby gets her new Blizzak WS80 snow shoes all mounted, TPMS programmed and balanced. What else could you want? The appointment process and onsite work was great and everybody I interacted with was prompt and professional. I keep my snow and regular tires mounted on separate sets of wheels so it's an easy swap each season. Having it done at my house was more expensive than taking the car out to a shop but totally worth it if I factor in the time savings. When I take the car out to a tire shop for the seasonal swap they often try to upsell me on additional stuff (oil change, etc.) and when I decline I get moved to the back of the line and end up wasting at least half a day in a crappy waiting room with soap operas running nonstop on an 80's era tube TV. I'm a fan; given the time savings I'm not sure I'll ever take the car back to a "traditional" tire shop. read more

Yesterday, they came to my home in Concord and switched out 4 rims on a pickup truck. I never even had to walk outside in the cold. They arrived, did the work, and then left. Think service people who, at best give you a 2 hour window. My flats (yes flats) happened on a Friday night. I emailed and left a VM. My past two tire experiences were awful....One retailer, who shall remain nameless (Se@rs), was so agressive-trying to sell me the most expensive tires they had in the showroom, then making me feel like an idiot when I didn't understand their 'tire speak' that I will never go back to them again. I called the 800 number for an estimate and Jake was so helpful and nice...I've never dealt with anyone in the automotive industry who was so helpful. I scheduled an appointment for 11 am, he called just before he got to my house (on time, mind you)...he pulled his truck into the driveway, we spoke for a minute, he changed out my tires and was gone in just over an hour. This service is fantastic for those of us who are too busy to go hunting for a friendly garage....he even offered to change my tires at my place of business. The quote he gave me on the tires included installation, removal of the old tires (a surprise added charge at most places) and coming out to my house. Jake shows up at the house and 45 mins later 4 new tires on the wife's jeep. he even rotated one of the front rims, that had a ding in it, to the rear to reduce any shimmy in the steering wheel. attentive professional service. Job Poorly Done The installer showed up on time and completed installation of 4 new tires in an hour. No problems there. I drove my car after the installation and noticed a slight vibration but did not think much of it. Two weeks later I took my car for a regular maintenance and mentioned this problem. It turns out the tires were out of balance, all 4 of them. I had to pay $90 to balance the tires in the shop. I did not call My Tire Guys to fix the problem because I lost confidence in their ability to do the job right (they managed to keep all 4 tires out of balance, it does not get any worse than this). read more
