Delicious food and friendly staff. We get takeout here all the time. The first few times we had it we had to ask extra times - is this really vegan, are you sure, because it tastes so good! Orange chicken is extra sugary, basically dessert. Prepare to take a nap after or split it with somebody. The brown rice they use is very hearty and a real treat mixed with the orange chicken sauce. Chow mein is excellent. I get it with beef. Pad kee mao is also great, too spicy for me but my wife loves it. The green curry with tofu is very good too. Oh, and did I mention the spring rolls?! I was in the area recently and was able to give this place a try. I walked in starving and left happy and sated. It started off a little rocky with only one server waiting on every table, but by the time we left there was somebody else helping her. Also, once we received our food everything became instantly more forgivable. I ordered the spicy basil noodles with "chicken" and I feel compelled to warn you that is one SPICY dish. If you can't take the heat order a different noodle dish. I didn't mind my mouth being on fire so I still enjoyed it. I also got the tom kah soup, which is my go-to at any Thai place. By the time I received the soup and it finally cooled down enough for me to eat, I was so full from the noodles. I took most of it to go and enjoyed it later. It was delicious and certainly didn't disappoint. I like that they offer Kombucha here as well. Excellent Vegan Restaurant So nice to come and order anything from the Menu without worries of what ingredients were used. They use Organic & High Quality products. Worth the drive if you're not local. I had some business to take care of in Pasadena this week. So I decided to use Yelp to help me find somewhere to pick lunch up for me and my vegetarian sister. Luckily My Vegan was within a mile of me, had a lot of positive reviews and wasn't too pricey. I ended up ordering the Orange Nugget and the Pad Thai. The wait was less than 10 mins and I was on my way. The orange chicken was delicious. It was the type of 'veggie-chicken' that had that firm fake-meat texture, that both me and my sister prefer over the soft fake-meat one. The glaze on it was sweet and tangy and served with a nice brown rice. The pad thai was good as well, although slightly drier than I would have liked. Also both portions were large. They could have easily been shared or had for leftovers the following day. I'd like to come back here to try some of their other vegan options. Wow! Who knew vegan food can taste so good? My friend wanted to come here for lunch, and even though I am not a vegetarian, I was impressed with this small vegan restaurant on the way to the 110fwy. There's half booth seating along the walls. There's also a counter to order take away. The decor is minimal, but waitress is friendly. Drinks: Fresh coconut was nice and sweet. You can use your spoon to eat the soft coconut meat after you finish the juice. Thai iced tea is made with soy coconut milk. Appetizer: Love the chicken satay with peanut sauce! There's also a tiny cucumber salad that comes with it. Entrees: Yellow Curry Noodles was very flavorful. There are also bean sprouts and soy chicken inside. I thought the noodles were just a tad soggy, but overall, an excellent curry dish. You can take the curry soup home and eat it with rice for a later meal! Supreme fried rice was recommended by our waitress, and it's a good choice! There are vegan shrimps in the rice that have a good texture. The rice is brown rice and it's seasoned well. Overall, a solid choice for lunch. If you are vegan or vegetarian, you will be happy to find a place that serves tasty food besides salads and rolls. If you are an omnivore like me, you will still enjoy the food, especially if you like Thai/Asian cuisine. There's also plenty of free parking in the lot. read more

This is sad because I actually really enjoy their food and I've been there several times, but I had a very disappointing experience today :( The service there has always been sort of mediocre, but like I said - we've always enjoyed the food. But today we ordered food takeout and they got our order wrong. We didn't have much time, so when they offered to correct the order we said that it was OK. However, after paying the full price (which was already a little bit annoying...), we asked if we might just sit down and eat some of the food in the restaurant really quick. They responded by saying that no, that was not possible. So I was around Santa Anita area and was looking around for a place to eat. I was browsing around Yelp and came across their page and check out their menu and pictures. It looked interesting and so finally decided to go and try out their Vegan food. Their restaurant is small located at Arroyo Plaza where there's a small parking lot so it took a while for us to find parking. When we arrived, we were seated after 10 minutes. They do have a public restroom by the kitchen. The food was great and delicious! We ordered the Carbonara soy chicken pasta, pad thai and tom Kah soup. The Carbonara soy chicken.. Wow! I'm usually a pasta lover but since I'm limited to dairy, I can't eat too much pasta and cheese. But since this place is non-dairy! It's much better! The pasta was good... chicken was tender and soft.. sauce was great! The only thing I noticed afterward was, it was missing cashew nuts. Pad thai is really good! ..and the tom Kah soup with tofu is great! You can actually taste the coconut and so flavorful. But the portion is small, I wanted more! Unfortunately, the service was slow. I've eaten here a couple times and I ordered a to go order of pad see ew today. This is a great little vegan Thai restaurant in Pasadena. It's a part of a plaza so parking can be a little bit of a mess during the dinner rush but if you wait it out for a bit someone may move their car. The service here is super friendly, everyone is kind, food comes out at an alarmingly fast rate, and it's all delicious! The prices are what you'd expect, about 9-12 for an entree, so not too expensive but not really cheap either. However, their generous serving sizes really make up for it. Dropped into this place for the first time for a pick up order. I got the Pad See Ew to go. When I got home, I realized the take out bag didn't have a fork or napkins in it. Not a good look to start with. Then, when I opened my order, I saw that they had deconstructed the dish. The noodles were on one side and the broccoli and tofu were separated. When trying all three, it was clear the ingredients had not been cooked together. The broccoli and tofu were bland and had no flavor, sauce or seasoning. The tofu was not fried. Came here for dinner last Wednesday night with my mom after some shopping. This place can be an easy miss when driving down Arroyo Pkwy. My Vegan is located in a small plaza with Domino's (also right across from Trader Joe's & Lucky Boy). There is some parking here (FREE parking) and a little bit of street parking as well. Anyways, upon entering, we were greeted and seated immediately. I am not vegan, nor vegetarian (and neither is my mother) but I do like eating at these type of establishments. It was a bit mushy and soft consistency, but that is usually what a lentil patty texture will give you. Anyways, I did like the way this tasted and was pretty happy to find that this was not fried.
