Mainly a family/minority owned taqueria and mezcaleria with deep Sinaloa roots. One thing I absolutely love here is the ceviche. My favorites are the Aguachile( shrimp cured in lime and spicy cilantro pesto). The salmon crudo was straight fire and I always love the ponzu tuna. You can never go wrong with the queso fundido. And not pictured were the tacos. We also got a few tacos to share for the table. The barbacoa de borrego and the El lucahdor( fish taco) is my favorite. And their cocktails are to die for. The pina salsa was incredible though-- you can tell they use fresh pineapple instead of canned, and it wasn't spicy at all. The to-go order even came with a really cute branded bag! I would definitely recommend this spot. However next time I go, I would get some extra sauce on the side to make up for the dryness.

For tacos, we had the rockfish tacos and the salsa verde tacos. The rockfish tacos were incredible--perfect heat, not overpowering, and excellent flavor. The salsa verde tacos were good as well, but as Latin food lovers, we felt the salsa verde flavor didn't really come through. Still tasty and very tender, though two of the three tacos had more fat than meat, which slightly affected the texture for me. Other than that, the food was great, the atmosphere is cute and elegant, and overall it was a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend!
