We visited this restaurant during our Orlando trip and going to Universal Studios. We chose to eat here because it was new to us and it was about to down pour and wanted to sit inside. It's a hidden entrance and you could walk right by it. We are so glad we found it. Food was DELICIOUS!!!! the inside is themed like an ancient myth grotto. We only waited 10 minutes to be seated. Our server, Tiffany, was superb! Great personality! Very attentive and came over quickly once we were at our table. She mentioned a few favorites from the menu and we were very happy with her service! The menu items were on the Greek side but we enjoyed the entire meal. For an appetizer, we ordered the Dips and Lavash bread (it came with a large round disk-type bread with seasonings on it and 3 types of dip-hummus, tomato and kalamata tenpanade. Very good!! My son ordered the Waygu beef burger, which he said it was great! Hubby ordered the Caesar salad with chicken (which was a chicken kabob on the side). It was very good. I ordered the Signature Greek salad with chicken (also chicken kabob). This was my favorite Greek salad ever- loved how they put crackers in layers. The ingredients were chopped in perfect sizes making it easier to eat it. We split the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert. This was the highlight of the meal. Tiffany brought over the bowl with the round cheesecake over the Dubai Chocolate base (it had a silver cylinder around it), when she put the plate down, she removed the cylinder and the thick chocolate just covered the cheesecake and gave it a great presentation!!! Can't describe how decadent this was. Overall, best meal in Universal Studios! We will go back when we return in the future.

If you are looking for a break from typical theme park fare and want to experience fine dining in between riding roller coasters, Mythos is Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure is the place for you. This restaurant continues to receive accolades for its menu and service and has won awards for being the best in theme park dining. Mythos provides a calm and luxurious setting to enjoy Mediterranean and Asian inspired dishes. There are whimsical details of mythology throughout the decor. With water features and the cave-like structure, it can be noisy, but in a pleasant way...similar to using a white noise machine. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are happy to provide recommendations. They work together to make sure drinks stay filled and food arrives at the table as soon as it is prepared. Shout out to CHRISTIAN who took great care of my parents and myself on our recent visit. The menu is vast. There are amazing choices which will allow you to try something new or a better version of something familiar. The quality of the food is excellent. The portions are huge. If the cost of dining here is your only reason for hesitating, share a dish with a friend because you want to experience this restaurant! For me, while the price is more than what I would typically pay in a theme park, the amount of food, quality of food and exceptional service make the price appropriate!

I'm glad I walked around scoping out a place to eat and didn't settle for a fast / casual spot. I walked past Mythos and there was a big banner saying "10 time winner #1 themed park restaurant in the world! - theme park insider. The menu sounded enticing so I decided to give it a try. I put my name down on the waitlist and was told it would be 25 minutes ish wait but luckily I only waited about 15 minutes. The inside and building structure is so cool! Definitely the better food option in this park. It's a sit down restaurant and the service was great! Shoutout to the wonder Stephanie for being so personable and super sweet. I ordered the sea scallop & wild mushroom risotto $45 and Siren song drink. Wow the portion of the risotto was perfect, especially since I paid $$ for it. It also tasted so freaking yummy!! Love at first bite. Again, pricey but quality dishes.

The venue, service, and food are all of excellent quality...Super recomendo...... Ambiente muito bonito e limpo...

Is this the world's best theme park restaurant? It's certainly a contender. Mythos is an excellent choice for anyone looking to escape the sun, enjoy a pleasant dining experience, and savor delicious food. My cucumber martini was very refreshing and didn't leave me feeling sluggish. The Caesar salad was incredibly fresh, enhanced by freshly squeezed lemons. I ordered the Pad Thai, which was the perfect portion size for a busy day at the theme park--it kept me energized without overfilling me. The food here is too notch and not your typical burgers and hot dogs. The restaurant's interior is stunning, featuring beautiful curves, enchanting lights, and statues integrated into the walls. The ambiance is otherworldly, providing customers with a truly amazing experience.

The restaurant is beautiful on the inside! It's such a cool place to rest and eat in the parks. The Fork, Knife and Spoon Grilled Cheese was actually amazing. The sandwich was huge and grilled perfectly. The tomato soup was very yummy and the crispy pork was a nice touch. The lamb burger was a little bit too charred for my liking, but the sauces on the side paired deliciously with the burger. The service was nice and it definitely was a heftier price, but what do you expect in a theme park.

Mythos Restaurant - A Hidden Oasis Inside Islands of Adventure Located within the Lost Continent at Universal's Islands of Adventure, Mythos Restaurant offers a unique dining experiences inside any theme park. The restaurant is beautifully themed as an ancient cave, complete with soaring ceilings, carved statues, and a dramatic, almost otherworldly atmosphere. It truly feels like stepping into a different world. With the future of the Lost Continent somewhat uncertain, I hope that Mythos will be re-themed for the new area surrounding it. Reservations are highly recommended, especially given its location inside the park, and the experience is well worth the planning. This is not a budget dining option, but the quality justifies the price. We ordered the vegetable Pad Thai and a salmon entrée with a perfectly crisp exterior. Both dishes were well-executed, flavorful, and satisfying--leaving us comfortably full while still energized to continue exploring the park. The staff consistently stands out--friendly, attentive, and accommodating without being intrusive. One of the biggest highlights is the atmosphere. After hours in the Florida heat, surrounded by roller coasters, dinosaurs, and the energy of Hogsmeade, Mythos provides a calm, cool, and slightly quieter environment. It's a welcome reset in the middle of a busy day. While we didn't order dessert, several tables around us did, and the presentation alone made them look absolutely worth trying. Overall: Mythos delivers a rare combination of immersive theming, high-quality food, and a relaxing atmosphere--making it one of the standout dining experiences at Islands of Adventure. I highly recommend Mythos.

    Menu - December 2024

When researching dining locations for our Universal Orlando trip in December 2024, my mom and I wanted to try this location as the atmosphere looked beautiful. Which when arriving, we definitely were taking in the beautiful decor and theming of this restaurant. Additionally, the menu seemed to have options that we'd all enjoy so this was on our must try list for the trip. Robert was very friendly when we were seated, and great with my food allergies. We started with Spanakopita Dip as a starter which we all enjoyed! We were off to a great start, but there was a mishap with my mom's salad as it was missing ingredients. Later we would find out it seems she was served the wrong salad, but she didn't want to fuss. We did bring up to Robert who attempted to fix things, then identified the wrong salad likely was the reason for missing ingredients. Besides that, my dad and I both enjoyed our entrees. Though there was an issue with the salad, we still enjoyed the meal and would return.

For a restaurant that touts itself as the "#1 theme park restaurant," it did not live up to the hype. My mom and I went for the first time to experience it as our annual passes are expiring and we will not be renewing them. I got the fork, knife, and spoon grilled cheese and she got the honey glazed salmon. The grilled cheese was average and the tomato soup, which had good flavor, was unfortunately on the cold side. I hated the crispy pork belly and plantains (?) on top of the sandwich -- seemed completely out of place for the dish. The honey glazed salmon, per my mom, was also average and the brussel sprouts were not cooked thoroughly. We finished with the warm flourless chocolate cake featuring peanut butter ice cream, bananas, and caramel. The dessert was also barely warm and the caramel especially was almost congealed (see photos). I would not recommend, especially for the price of each dish.

With the coolest looking exterior and interior, Mythos is a super fun spot to dine while in the parks, and the food did not disappoint! We started with the lamb hummus which was amazing. The beef medallion was a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin with excellent flavor.

If you are looking for a nice place to sit down, enjoy the AC, & get a bite, this checked the boxes but not the best place ever. The service was really good but the food missed the mark. Nice & friendly staff. Food was ok but it is within a theme park so it was expected.

Our second time here and we LOVED it. This meal MADE our trip! We keep raving about (and craving) it! The staff was incredible, friendly, and very informative. The views are amazing and the restaurant theming is, without a doubt, incredible. We started off with the Spanakopita Dip which was fantastic. Especially with a side of lemons! The pita bread with it was also fantastic. We then got the Pad Thai, which was PHENOMENAL! The can't stop raving about it. The shrimp, chicken, and especially the spices were just perfect. Me and my bf shared this whole meal and both left full and happy! If you're looking for a good meal to share and a restaurant that will blow you away, this is it!

    Caesar salad and calamari
    Tiffany L.

That sign you see outside the restaurant calling it the best theme park restaurant? They're absolutely right. The whole ambience and theme of the restaurant is amazing, not to mention the view of the water and coasters. The Caesar salad and calamari were good but nothing super special. The pork chop, however, oh my god, dare I say one of the best pork chops I've had in my life. It was so juicy and tender - and it was a huge portion. Everything we ordered was split between 2 girls and we were stuffed afterwards. The waitstaff were also very nice and explained the menu to us with recommendations. Definitely will be back the next time I'm at islands of adventure!!

I suggest getting there early if you want to grab a good spot. They do tastings all day every day so going during the week might be a better option if you want to avoid crowds. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, there is an attempt to sell you on their wine club, which is a great deal if you're a wine drinker and live near enough that you can take advantage of it every month. However there was no high pressure sales pitch so don't let that put you off. The food came out fast and, with one exception, fresh. My burger tasted amazing, although the bun was very stale to the point where I just pulled the burger apart and ate it without the bun. The carbonara is more an Alfredo than a carbonara but was still very tasty. All in all, a solid place to stop in at and we'll probably try it again someday.

I went with my brother and sister-in-law, and the food was excellent. The lemon pepper dry rub wings were absolutely amazing--crispy, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. They were so good I jokingly wanted to bite my fingers afterward! I also tried the Honey Thai wings, but they just weren't for me because I don't really enjoy spicy food. That's completely a personal preference, though. The edamame was fresh and tasty, and the appetizers we shared were all very good. Even though the restaurant was completely packed, the service was impressive. I expected a long wait, but I was seated almost immediately, and our server kept everything moving smoothly despite how busy it was. The only downside is the parking. There isn't convenient parking directly in front of the restaurant, so you'll need to park in the nearby garage, take the elevator down, and walk over. The good news is that parking on the top floor is free. Along the walk, there were several outdoor vendors selling fresh fruit drinks, roasted corn, sweet treats, and small shopping items, which made the walk a little more enjoyable. Overall, this Yard House delivered great food, efficient service, and a fun atmosphere. If you're visiting International Drive and looking for a great place to eat, I definitely recommend stopping by. I'll absolutely be back!

There were several places to choose from, but this one seemed like a good fit because it wasn't overly loud, and we wanted to be able to hear each other. We initially sat outside, but we were told they had stopped serving the outdoor seating area, so we moved inside. Rather than wait for a server, we decided to order directly from the bar since it seemed like the faster option. There weren't enough seats at the bar for our group of five, so we grabbed a nearby booth. The bartender was friendly, and our drinks were excellent. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. Although people were not coming in, but some people were eating, and enjoying drinks throughout the restaurant, it seemed like the staff had started cleaning up for the night. A server came over, and we explained that we were only there for drinks. After we received our drinks from the bar, he returned and told us that we would soon have to get up so he could clean the table. Seriously? I looked around and saw several other tables where some guests were simply sitting, talking, and enjoying their drinks. They weren't eating either. It made us feel as though, because we had only ordered beverages, we weren't as welcome as everyone else. I chose not to let one person's behavior ruin our evening because I'd rather believe that one employee doesn't represent the entire establishment. In fact, the bartender was great, and the drinks were very well made. What disappointed me was the server's attitude. I wasn't aware that ordering drinks at a restaurant with a full bar wasn't enough to be considered a paying customer, especially when there weren't enough bar stools to accommodate our group. His approach came across as rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. Needless to say, we were not going to get up until we had finished out drinks, and we did not. I may return to try the food because the drinks were impressive, but if I ever encounter that same server again, I definitely won't be sitting in his section.

No reason they couldn't have seated us in the restaurant. Refused service. Three stars because the food is good and owner Nate called me immediately after the post. What an incredible dining experience at Delany's Tavern!…read more From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional, and the ambiance was the perfect blend of elegant and welcoming. We started with the She Crab Soup, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Dirty Rice Entrée, and wow--what an explosion of flavors! It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. To top it all off, we enjoyed a frothy cappuccino served with a rock candy sugar stick--a beautiful finishing touch. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We can't say enough good things about our experience and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Let's focus on the positives first: the atmosphere is incredibly fun and the live music Saturday night was a perfect touch at the bar. There were plenty of fun activities for the kids and there was an all-you-can-eat buffet for the kids with fried chicken and shrimp, macaroni and cheese, fries, and red velvet cupcakes. $25 is a deal if your child would chow down on shrimp, but it might not be a great deal if your child is usually full after four bites. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy. This is a fun spot for a drink and appetizer, but I would skip eating dinner at Highball & Harvest.

For a simple meal for two people, the service was unreasonably slow throughout the evening. Our server, Svet, was polite and personable, but friendliness alone could not make up for the delays. The hummus appetizer was excellent and was easily the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and served with pita, cucumbers, carrots, and red peppers. The food presentation overall was attractive and showed promise. The most serious issue occurred when my son ordered a refill of his virgin mojito and was served a drink containing alcohol. He immediately noticed something was wrong after taking a sip and handed it to me. I tasted it as well and confirmed that it contained alcohol. Serving alcohol in a child's drink is a significant mistake and should never happen. We also ordered the steak frites based on a recommendation and were told it was exceptional. Unfortunately, the steak was extremely tough and chewy, making it difficult to eat and far from what was described. Management apologized and removed the steak from the bill, but the combination of excessive wait times, the alcohol mix-up involving a minor, and the disappointing entrée left a poor overall impression.

The fries were also cold and hard, so that side definitely missed the mark. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but it also was not one that would make me rush back. The restaurant seemed understaffed. there were only one waiter and waitress working the entire time we were there. I would not try again.
