The smell of the food they were cooking smelled so delicious. It was hard to not want to try the food. Sean had explained the menu to me since it was my first time going there. Joey (owner cooking on the grill) recommended sweet heat croissantwich they have that's not on the menu. A customer in line had chimed in how they had done a collab with Gooey Center cinnamon rolls and they put a maple sausage in the middle. I had ordered a few sandwiches but was only able to try the sweet heat croissantwich. This was amazing it was a crunchy yummy goodness that I can't explain. It wasn't spicy and you can taste a slight sweetness. It was the perfect bite each time. I had also ordered a hashbrown on the side. It was so crispy and it didn't need ketchup or anything else. I can't wait to come back soon to try the breakfast burger which they're known for and the S.P.E.C sandwich. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich sounded pretty popular as well. I believe the smash burgers is what started it all but you definitely gotta try it for yourself.

For appetizer, we really enjoyed the Chicken Liver Mousse. The house-made seasonal jam is so good (we just had strawberry) and pairs really well with the mousse. For brunch, we got the Grass-fed Hangar Steak Breakfast Plate which is an elevated version of your typical breakfast staples. Amazing flavor and they cook the steak perfectly every time. We also tried one of their seasonal desserts and it is a must-have. I forgot the name, but it was a melon sorbet paired with fresh mangoes, coconut milk, and sago. Super unique and refreshing. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for an upscale restaurant with a casual feel. Service is amazing, especially if you have Kai. We look forward to visiting again soon to try their dinner menu.

They don't take reservations for brunch, but they have a Yelp waitlist you can join ahead of time. There was only around a 15 min wait for us when we went on a Sunday for brunch. Service was friendly and attentive, and the dishes we tried were all delicious and thoughtfully prepared. - Cold sesame noodles - so yummy and flavorful! The sesame sauce was so good and nutty and the chili crisp added a nice extra kick. A big portion size so great for sharing too - Breakfast plate - comes with your choice of protein, so we got the grass-fed hanger steak. I love their take on the hash brown - it was hearty and thick with a delightfully crispy exterior - Cornmeal mochi pancake - was so excited to try this one! Loved the mochi texture with the cornmeal flavor, and it was not overly sweet or heavy. Very sharable! Parking: there's a nearby parking structure with free parking as well as an open parking lot directly behind the restaurant

Because the wait time was too long for that, we decided to try The Dive Oyster Bar -- and man are we sure glad we did. We got a total of five items: a bowl of clam chowder, the soft shell crab appetizer, the roasta, the traditional pan roast with the house speciality protein (with the crab on the side because of my dad's crab allergy), and the jambalaya, which for the last three we ate with medium heat. We shared everything (except for the crab appetizer because, again, crab allergy for dad) and found the food to be delicious, with each entree coming out tasting better than the last. Personally, the roasta was my favorite with the pan roast as a close second. Very flavorful dishes with medium heat being a good level for us (wasn't spicy for our Korean palates). Service was great, our server (unfortunately forgot his name) was attentive and quick with our requests, and although he forgot a side of rice, it was for the best as the food had settled in our stomachs by then and we were content with what we ordered. The restaurant itself is well maintained with ample table space and appropriate lighting, though the music from the evening DJ was a tad bit too loud to hear from across the table. Not a big mood killer for us, though mostly because the good was that good. We're not from this area, so the odds of coming here again are relatively slim -- but should the opportunity present itself, it'll be more than fate this time to take us through these doors once again.

It was sort of the only options they really had left. My wife and I originally decided to come by to try the hama hama but they were completely sold out which was disappointing but I don't blame them for it. Food and service here is always appreciated. Music pretty repetitive though but overall pleasant experience.

We tried the kimchi bacon with salted egg, pistacchio Dubai chocolate, plain, and a couple of cream puffs. All the croissants were deliciously crunchy flaky, my favorite is the pistacchio Dubai chocolate but the kimchi was also very creative. All the cream puffs were also great but personally croissants are harder to perfect for me so this is the spot for that. I also had a pistacchio cream latte that was delicious as well. The pricing is on the higher side compared to other pastries but if you're used to getting croissants elsewhere like at Delight (Pasadena), Bread Lounge (DTLA), Friends & Family (Los Feliz) then this is on par. With the care that goes into making the pastries here, they are justified to charge this type of pricing.

Browned seemed to start it's popularity via the choux but expanding its wings into croissants as well. The choux was quite petite so it's perfect that you had to order in minimum set of 4, also meaning able to try different flavors as they offered plenty. We tried Earl Grey, Maple Pecan with Chocolate coating, Hojicha with Black Sesame, and Taro with Salted Egg Yolk. They were all so peculiar and luscious in their own way and you'd be pleased by the full stuffing. If I had to pick my top 2 I would go to the last 2 and the Taro Salted Egg was even not to skip IMO. Perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors in one bite. Both the Hojicha and earl grey served very solid tea flavors with bit hint of bitterness. They did regular drop for the choux for pre order, but if you prefer looking at the showcase then making choices just like me, worry not as ordering was pretty swift and no long line.
