Tried this place the other day as it was really close. Went in just to pick up and realized It's a really nice sit down restaurant. We ordered pad Thai, massamman curry, chicken satay, and fried ice cream. The satay wasn't impressive. The chicken wasn't well seasoned and the peanut sauce seemed to be really thin. The sauce is really supposed to be the star here and I was let down. The pad Thai was ok, not one of the best I've had, lacked flavor in my opinion. The stars here were the curry and the fried ice cream. The curry is super flavorful, I got medium but you can really taste the heat and it was sooo good! One suggestion is to add more veggies/meat. Mostly this was just the curry gravy itself, we had maybe a few peppers and some potatoes. I've had curries in the past that really focus on veggies. The flavor was amazing though. Def would love this on a cold rainy day. The fried ice cream was a hit as well, it's one of my favorite desserts so had to try it here! Wouldn't mind trying this again but probably will stick with the curries read more

The taste of the food was so-so at best, but the value of the dishes was very underwhelming. We ordered the Black Pepper Shrimp @ $17.50 and we could barely find the shrimp in the dish. The shrimp was small and there were only 6 in the entire dish for $17.50?! Don't get the Chef's Crab Cake with Papaya Salad, there was no crab of any sort... ??? Bangkok Fish was not crispy as it mentioned it was in the description, the famous Pad Thai is better at Four Seasons on Stelton and the Roti Canai is 10x better at Penang on Rt 1. N-Thai is a great restaurant with excellent seating, ambiance, hospitality, and flavorful food. I went with a group of friends and the host demonstrated excellent customer service. They gave our group a complementary mango custard cake. On top of that, they also provided with a complementary mango mousse for the folks who have January birthdays in our group. Our individual entrees were flavorful too. I ordered the mango chicken curry which hit all the right flavor spots - the sweet mango and chicken curry combo is a killer. Highly recommend. I also ordered the pina colada which was very flavorful and worth the taste. Overall, excellent customer service, polite wait staff, and amazing food. "The high hopes dinner" Ordered take out on a Friday night. The place looked busy inside, there was no one at the door to service the take out & it took a while to get the food. Ordered the grilled shrimp, which came w/ fried rice and veggies, and the lamb chops, which came w/ the same sides. Also got the chicken satay appetizer. The satay was one of the worst I've ever had - the chicken was rubbery and flavorless. The peanut sauce was good. The lamb chops were also rubbery, and dry. Let me start by saying cut into everything before you eat it. I was very excited to try this place this weekend but I was quickly disappointed. The overall appearance is great and the server was prompt. My complaint is about the appetizer. We order the sampler platter which included chicken satay, a radish salad, spring rolls and fried shrimp. The spring rolls were the only thing that was good. The salad tasted like it was on its last leg and the chicken satay skewers had a texture I personally don't like. But did not bother the other member of my party. The shrimp was the issue. It was served RAW! The outside was fried but the inside cold and raw. I was disgusted at that point. It's a new restaurant opened to replace an old reputed restaurant, I was at the grocery store where I met someone who was sharing the menus sayings it's new and better food. I went for a takeout order on Mother's Day, first of all, these people are not at all welcoming. Didn't even greeted anyone walking into the restaurant, then I was standing asked them I need to place a takeout order, it took 5 min to find someone who could take my order (5 servers were standing with no clue what to do) then I gave my order and waited for 15 min my order was ready. Once I reached home and had food with my wife, the food was not fully cooked the chicken was half clocked and had to re-cook to make it edible but it didn't even taste good. Had to go cook something else to eat and throw away the dishes. Especially the Black Pepper Chicken was like rubber, the sweet corn chicken soup had curry powder totally changed the texture & color, the noddles we're cooked through but the chicken in it was not cooked at all. After all this, I realized that it's so expensive it's not just about money if the food is good we would not mind paying for, really disappointed and would not recommend anyone going it's a ripoff. read more

A must try for Pomfret lovers - a must try: Grilled spicy pomfret (the best I've had in a long time) with steamed vegetables and vegetable fried rice. For dessert - a must try is their Falooda they have so many secret ingredients. There are many dishes we've tried over the years and tried many of their delectable cuisines. Food was not good at all. Got the curry puffs and pad see ew beef. The curry puffs were mostly fried dough. Pretty bland. The noodles were clumped together and either not fresh or overcooked. Bland as well. There should be a distinct flavor of fish sauce in pad see ew and I didn't taste any. I ordered spicy and there was almost no spice in it. Looking at the menu this place seems like an Asian jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none type of restaurant. What I got definitely did not taste like authentic Thai. Didn't realize this place is halal before I went so that was a definite minus for me. I don't have any allergic, medical, or religious dietary restrictions so this place being halal just limited what is available on the menu. Definitely not coming back here. read more

I suppose they're still trying to get their feet under them after just opening two months ago, so this review could change in the future. That being said there were concerns that may not bode well for future success of the restaurant. One being there was nary a Thai employee nor a customer in the sparsely filled dining area on a Saturday night. The place has a unappealing interior dominated by a dark red color, harsh lighting, generic, electronic, new age music and has the look to have been put together using what appeared to be used furniture( the glass covered table tops had scratches already). We ordered a papaya salad to start which was tough and chewy and inedible. Our entrees were curry chicken and requested mild heat and a coconut shrimp dish with medium heat. The mild heat dish was hotter than moderate heat and also much too spicy for our taste and I enjoy spicy food. Our waitress seemed suprised and after checking with the management replaced it with a dish with "no chillis" although it clearly had heat but was more mild. The dishes had good flavor but were disappointing in both lacked any accompanying vegetables other than that dreaded tough slivered papaya. Not sure I will be back especially since there are other much better Thai options nearby. read more

Interesting decor, the yellow on the walls along with the red banquets was darker than I normally like but it worked very well. Also it was not tacky which was really nice. Good use of space. I ordered a sample of some of my favorites. The crab cake and salad combo was a little bland at first when I got about half way through, about 4-5 min after they brought be dish they bring a sauce out with a nice kick to it. Would have been much better if it came out with the appetizer. Nice size portion not too big nor small would be good to share. I ordered the shrimp and mussels massman curry I asked for the second most spicy, it wasn't spicy at all, but it was also far from bland! Great flavor just would have liked a bit more kick. They gave a generous portion of shrimp which is always nice, a few mussels. Next time I will ask for no mussels they weren't top shelf. The plate they serve it in or I should say Bowl was odd it was more fire show it made the dish a bit harder to navigate but it was a nice overall presentation. I also got a mango drink which was very nice it was rich and thick would have cooled down my mouth had it been on fire from the food which again lacked that punch I really love in Thai food. Even though it lacked the punch again good flavor and better off less spicy than overpowering someone. Overall a nice place to go out to. Service was nice but a bit slow at times. I went for lunch today. Normally I go to Thai Lanna but they were closed on Tuesday. We tried here instead. They just crossed lunch specials off the menu with a pen. My friend and I got the same simple noodle dish. There was one waiter for the 6 tables that were there. I was a waiter in a prior life so I felt bad for him. Food took forever to get so we asked for a takeout box before we even got it. We only have 1 hour for lunch. Food came out and no Togo box. I asked for Togo box again and he said np. Then he went to go clean a table. I feel bad for you when your short staffed but taking care of customers that are there are more important than ones that left. I had to ask for it for a third time before I finally got it. The food was just ok. Thai lanna is more tasty and better deal because you get soup and meal for less money than a small plate of noodles. I will not be going back read more

Came in with a group of people. Waiter forgot to take our order and had to wait 25 minutes for our order to be taken. We finished our food and it took us 40 minutes to get our check even though we requested multiple times for a check because we had to go home. The service is terrible and the waiters take their sweet time and are very forgetful. One of the waiter's very rude and makes jokes that are hurtful and not funny. read more

I am so happy to have found this place as Thai cuisine is my favourite. These guys serve such authentic food. I have been here several times and this place never disappoints me. Being a totally vegetarian person this place makes me even more happy as they serve such good vegan dishes. The staff is also very friendly especially the gentleman Raju who always has a warm and smiling approach towards his customers.
