Came here after seeing a friend get some boba and wanted to try out a new place. Upon entering, the boba shop has their interior pretty closed off that customers cannot sit inside. It seems like they don't have a limit on how many people can be inside, but they do require customers to wear masks upon entering. I ended up ordering the strawberry freeze which is an ice blended strawberry with house crema. When ordering, I asked for this drink to not have any house crema and the employee said, "okay no crema, but milk". I guess this drink actually has milk in it even though the description says nothing about milk in it. Being slightly lactose intolerant, I then replied saying I wish for this drink to be non-dairy. Either way, I think if this drink had house crema or be non-dairy it's tasty either way. My drink was pretty good with having no milk and it being 50% sweet. It wasn't too sweet and it had a nice blend of strawberry flavor. Would definitely come back again though to try out the other drinks and overall, the service was pretty good here. I just wish that their drinks had a better description of what was inside because I wasn't aware the strawberry freeze had milk in it. read more

THEY HAVE NEW SEASONAL ITEMS!! Only after ordering did I realize that they have new seasonal items that look extremely appealing. I didn't know that they offered new seasonal items so I regret not looking at the menu before ordering. They added 8 new drinks to the seasonal section and I'm excited to try them. I just wish that N7 was closer to the North Santa Clara area. N7 is still one of the highest quality tea places I've ever been to. They use high quality ingredients and real fruit instead of syrups. I've enjoyed almost every drink I've tried here and am always comfortable trying something new every time I come because all of their drinks are high quality. At other tea places, I usually find one drink I like and only order that drink because I don't like to try new drinks. The only downside is that every time I come to N7, their prices slightly increase. Additionally, a lot of boba shops include taxes in their menu pricing , but N7 doesn't so it gets extremely expensive if you add toppings (~$6.50 post tax). Favorite drinks in order: 1. This is a small cafe with a lot of boba options and good seating. They have fruity drinks as well as traditional milk teas and coffee milk teas. I only wish there was more option for customization. They have no warm drinks, and even for the boba drinks you can't choose the ice level. Apparently it's set for all of them - even the non-blended regular drinks. read more

The difference with strawberry cheezo and strawberry fruit tea, is that the former has a green tea base while the latter has a jasmine tea base. You can also taste real fruits and fruit seeds in the drink, which is what I like most about N7 teas. Overall I liked my drink even though it was a little pricey. The jasmine was okay, my issue is with the blueberry cheezo. No blueberry flavor at all except the blend like dried blueberries in it... but it tasted SO FLORAL I felt like I was eating Potpourri. You know the super strong smelling dried flowers your grandma keeps in her dresser drawers? Or bathroom? I'm very sensitive to that stuff due to chronic migraines and unfortunately I got an immediate headache after the second sip and after I got a mouthful of dried blueberry stuff. Let me tell you, if a light fragrant jasmine tea contrasted with fresh OJ sounds good to you, then you need to give this concoction a try. They use fresh watermelon slices in this drink and again, if this sounds like you would enjoy this drink based on my description, then I wholeheartedly recommend you give this drink a shot as well. During this pandemic, there is no seating inside and they want only a few people inside the store at any one time. Service has been non-eventful so that's solid. N7 is modern, trendy, and seems to be very popular with the clout crowd. All the things that I'm not but I wanted to see what the hype was about! I never made it to their original location in E Man Jose so happy to see a more convenient location open in the Mitsuwa plaza. What makes N7 different than the 78578953537 boba shops in the Bay Area? Nitro teas. I lucked out on Saturday afternoon and there was no line. Let's start with the good... The store is COVID safe requiring customers to wear masks for entry. Staff properly wore masks and gloves. The cash register had a plexiglass barrier. Hand sanitizer available for customers. Customer service was great - staff was upbeat, friendly, and prompt. Cups are sturdy and good quality. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of their novelty drinks. I ordered one of their House Specials: House Milk Tea - Nitro Assam Tea w/ brown sugar cream, 25% sweet ($5.25): https://bit.ly/32FEtEU. The MT was very creamy and frothy (from the nitro). I like creamy MTs but felt this one wasn't balanced. For a black tea, the tea flavor was very weak. I like bold tea flavors so this is merely a preference (Tan-Cha is my fav in the South Bay). I'm glad I went with 25% sweet because their drinks seem to be sweeter than norm. Since I was parked out front and there was still no line, I decided to try one more drink, hoping a different one would be better. Next up, Hojicha Latte: Japanese Roasted Matcha Milk Tea, 25% sweet ($5). Sorry, no pic. I love Hoji tea for its roasty flavor and low caffeine. It's not the easiest tea to find in a boba shop. Oddly, the Hoji Latte tasted like frothy chocolate milk which I didn't like. I thought I was given the wrong drink but there's nothing chocolate on the menu. Bummer. I got my go-to, which is the watermelon freeze. It came out pretty "milky" looking and I was confused, since I got a fruit tea drink, not a milk tea. I forgot that due to the draft tea, there's a lot of bubbles in the drink initially. Once it calms down, it looks like regular fruit tea. I was able to customize the ice and sweetness level - I think I got 50% on both. And it was great. I love the taste of nitro jasmine tea. And it had a very sweet and strong watermelon flavor. Boba was added and it completed a very yummy drink. I've tried some of their other fruit teas including the medley berry and strawberry hussle and while they are all good - watermelon is my favorite. I'm used to getting it at Happy Lemon so I was expecting it to be blended with mango chunks but it was on ice instead, with some mango syrup on the bottom and some cream on top. I was worried I wouldn't like it but I ended up loving it! Thank you for the great beverage! The parking lot is a bit of a nightmare but the cafe was nice and airy. Ooooh my new favorite tea place!! I love the drinks they have here- they are not only unique but so good! As far as the fruit teas, I have tried the Blueberry Blush, Grape Gatsby, and the Mango Brisk. 25% sweet was perfect for me for their fruit teas. I love love love that the fruity flavor tastes so fresh- (there's little tiny bits of blueberries in the Blueberry Blush and grapes in the Grape Gatsby). It tastes more like fresh fruit juice added to teas than syrup sweetener, like most places taste. Despite the drinks being pretty fruit forward, you can also appreciate the tea flavor. Their Milk Tea and and Coffee teas were also amazing- perfect blend of coffee/tea flavor with a smooth creamy finish that isn't overly sweet. It's rare that a place does all of these drinks right!! Went for Dessert Food - 5/5. The black tea flavor in their house milk tea was very vibrant, being true to its description that it is a nitro assam tea. There was just the right level of sweetness to make it deliciously sippable but not too much to make you feel thirsty after. Crema gave it a nice creamy finish and the I like their sleek design along with bit of color from the matcha powder. Yakult freeze had great consistency for a smoothie and tasted exactly as it said it would. Service - 4/5. Professional and quick service. Value - 5/5. We got the jasmine salt foam drink with boba and the rose milk tea with boba. First off, the drinks were amazing. I love rose flavored drinks and I appreciated that they had one because most places don't, and it was probably one of the best ones I've ever had based on flavor. The only thing that's not warranting 5 stars here was the boba topping. When compared with places like Sharetea or Happy Lemon the boba here was unflavored and kinda hard. One of the best milk teas I've had in Cali! The tea is strong and does not get diluted by the milk. I would say the drinks tend to be on the sweeter end, so 75 or 50% sugar is enough for me. I was excited to see this location since the Silver Creek location is far for me plus that center was always crowded before the pandemic which made me not want to go even more. This location is located in the same center as Mitsuwa so it's convenient for me. I got the medley berry but at the time I was avoiding sweets so I got it 0% sweet, and I appreciated that the cashier told me that it will be light in flavor before I finalized the order. I ordered a Watermelon Milk Tea (which is newer to the menu) and I ordered 50% sweet. My order came out to about $5 with the soft opening discount. The drink was very refreshing and had a good creaminess to it! The was a lot of sweetness from the watermelon, even at 50%. I personally liked it more than the watermelon freeze! Very happy to see their menu expanding. This location is still really new, but I expect it will become much more popular after their grand opening. Many milk tea and coffee options in this small Mitsuwa plaza, but I find N7 a pretty solid store that could withstand competition. Assam nitro milk tea- At full sweetness, the tea is just right. Their drinks are not overly sweet. I can taste the Assam Tea, very bold flavor and is not overpowered by the sweetness. The tea itself is indeed very smooth! As milk tea goes, it is so silky. I am pleasantly surprised. Yakult freeze- a slushy consistency, taste strongly of yakult, almost like a Yakult concentrate. I can also taste the cremer, which makes the drink even sweeter. This would make a very refreshing drink on a hot day, otherwise may be too sweet. Some seating in the store, probably could accommodate 2 large groups. No small seating for 2 people, probably not the best if going on a boba date or hanging out with a couple friends. Overall very solid drinks, yet there is no WOW factor. Their nitro milk tea is definitely worth it, a very enjoyable texture. The small interior also make it not ideal as a hang out spot or working space. Probably best to get their drinks to-go. I've had N7 many times before at it's location by Silver Creek, but this was my first time trying this location. It's located in the Mitsuwa plaza which makes the parking lot area a bit busy at times. I came in today on a Saturday afternoon however and surprisingly it wasn't too busy at all, I waited only around 10 minutes for my drinks and there were only two other parties in the store at the time. Their wifi servers were down at the time, and because of this they only accepted Venmo and cash payments. I'm not sure if this happens to this location frequently but it'd probably be a good thing to keep in mind for those thinking about going. The employees here were really nice too. I ordered the Strawberry Hussle with crystal boba and the Strawberry Cheezo with regular boba. To be honest, the two drinks tasted almost identical with the exception of the Cheezo being topped with the cheese foam. Both drinks tasted a little too warm for my liking but I still enjoyed them nonetheless. I'd highly advise people to make sure you mix your drink as you drink the fruit teas since the fruit bits tend to float to the top. I didn't realize this early enough until I had an entire sip of strawberry when I was almost finished haha. N7 is still a pretty good choice if you're looking for boba, but I do think that their Silver Creek location meets higher standards. read more

We ordered 3 drinks - the house milk tea, rose milk tea and assam milk tea. Enjoyed all three tea flavors - the rose flavor wasn't overpowering, a bit milder than I've had for rose milk tea, but still good and obvious. House milk tea and assam were both good as well, smooth and good tea flavor. All three drinks were very refreshing even when I asked for no ice (they must shake well with ice :D). The boba was a bit too soft though, needed to be chewier but might just be an off batch. I came here on a weekend afternoon and there were a few people in line, but by the time I finished deciding what I wanted there was no line. They have a bunch of menus posted outside so you can take a look before going inside. I tried their watermelon freeze and the strawberry hussle (that's how they spell it on their menu). Both were really good, and you could tell that the fruit was fresh. The boba was the perfect consistency. I'm not sure if the nitro really added anything since it just tasted like regular fruit tea to me, but it still tasted good and the price was fairly average for Bay Area boba. This place already checks all the marks for an up-and-coming popular boba shop-- minimalist decor, quirky drinks, and fun egg puffs. What's not to love? Pickup only due to COVID. All workers wear masks & social distancing is enforced (only 3 patrons permitted in the store at a time). I really have to give credit to the staff's upbeat and quick service, even during these unique times. ROSE MILK TEA (less ice, 75% sweet, boba): Delightfully floral. I'm a sucker for rose-infused anything. I recommend getting this with a little less sugar since the sweetener flavor is pretty pronounced. Boba was great, perfectly sweet and chewy. The drink was DELICIOUS! and for a pretty good price. My cold brew latte was 4.25 (plus 50 cents for non dairy substitution - oat). I asked for 100% and thought it wouldn't be that sweet (with it being cold brew) but it was sweet (not too sweet). The coffee flavor was strong. My bf's jasmine tea was super refreshing. i'm probably one of the few people who didn't find this place to be that amazing. Jasmine Milk tea is my go to drink for baseline and I found that the tea isn't that very strong. I did get it with nitrogren to see what is so special about it and while it did made the drink more creamy / frothy feel, i didn't particular care for it. It's just a personal preference. I much rather go for a stronger brewed tea flavor which N7 Draft Tea did not produced.
