Ever crave Thai food late on a Sunday? Look no further! I came here on a Sunday night around 8:30, service was extremely quick and the staff was very attentive. As a Thai/Lao food lover I have a high bar for what I think is amazing, so while I didn't love every dish I ordered, I would definitely give this place another due to the customer service alone. With that being said, the edamame was hands down some of the best edamame I've ever had!! The flavor was very unique compared to the standard "spicy" edamame in garlic chili oil sauce. It had a very strong taste/flavor that reminded me of home made Laotian food - which may not be everyone's cup of tea but i will order this every time I come here that's for sure. The sausage was very bland in my opinion but I appreciate the aesthetic behind the presentation of the dish. The boat mood (spicy level 4 as everything else) was very tasty but had a LOT of cinnamon compared to other any other boat noodle I've ever had so disclaimer there if you aren't a huge fan of cinnamon. The chicken larb and the papaya salad were my least favorite dishes to be completely honest. I can't remember how many spicy levels there are but on the menu it is labeled out for you to choose, I like very spicy food but to play it safe (due to the disclaimer on the spiciest level) I chose the second to highest spicy level which per the menu, said "few can withstand" It was indeed spicy, but that affected the over all taste of its many of the dishes and in which the flavor was lost unfortunately. We've been coming here for lunch for quite a few weeks and food was always good and service was fine, never great. Today we went for lunch and the waitress promptly told us the prices are higher now, without any other greeting, interesting way to start it out. She then declined my request for hot sauce when I got my soup saying she will bring it out with my main course. And finally on our way out after paying, she followed us to the parking lot to tell me I didn't tip enough and I should not come back. I tipped 10% for little to no service beyond filling my water. I am 23 years old and honestly I enjoy the food and I try to tip what I can but running up to me and my coworkers outside the restaurant and saying I didn't tip enough and I shouldn't come back was very rude. Tipping is a courtesy and I understand she would have liked more but I tipped what I could. Not a good look for management and I am sad because I truly enjoyed their food and the service from the one male on site is always good and respectful but per this waitress's request, I doubt I will be coming back anytime soon. read more

I've been here multiple times over the lunch hour during work with my friends and colleagues. I enjoy the lunch specials since they offer a lot of options, from curries, stir-fried vegetables, to fried rice and noodles. I think you get a really good deal during lunch because the special includes an appetizer and dessert with your meal. A steal! The curries are delicious and have a nice flavour and spice of heat to it. I usually order the mild and it's still quite spicy, but keep in mind my spice tolerance level is not that high. Despite that, it's very delicious and filling. Love eating it with a big spoonful of rice! I've also had the pad see ew and while it's good, it's not great. I would prefer the noodles themselves to have a little more char on them. The lunch portion is generous though. Two times that I've visited, I've noticed a group of Buddhist monks enjoying a meal. I was hoping to find a good Thai place in the area, and the reviews looked pretty good. The food was very disappointing. I ordered the tofu pad thai and chicken green curry. The pad thai tasted most like chinese 炒米粉 rice noodle. There was celery which completely changes the flavour of the dish. There also wasn't any tanginess from tamarind. It just tasted like soy sauce, spring onion, and celery. I ordered mild spicy, which had no spiciness at all. The green curry had a good amount of veggies in it, but the curry was very soupy and watered down. I ordered the recommended medium spicy which was just a tiny bit of warmth on the tongue. I felt like I was drinking soup with toned down flavour rather than having curry. The nearby Iyara Thai is better, but I guess I'll be sticking to Street Food Thai Market. read more

Decent Thai food for those who are in the area. Out of their few dishes that I have tried, I liked their pad see ew. Their food taste good and dishes are different from one another, unlike few restaurants who just change the sauces for different dishes. I found their food a tad bit too oily. Cute bar with yummy food. They serve Khao Soi Gai which is hard to find in Houston. Fresh spring rolls were delicious as well. Service was very slow, but it was worth the wait for the food. I have been there twice with colleagues and friends as it is quite close to work. Their food is not bad, but I found the quality of their meet to be average at best. The first time I was there, I ordered the "cry hot" level (my own fault :)) and was unable to finish it, as it was too hot! I was surprised to see so many low reviews for this place. I actually really enjoyed myself. Came here with my boss for a lunch meeting. I had Thai tea for the first time and it was delicious. She usually gets it and she ordered on to go. For lunch I had the pad Thai. It was delicious! Very flavorful. Our waiter asked the heat level and I wanted and I said 5 he was totally surprised ! He was like are you sure I'm like trust me I'm Nigerian. Food arrives and it's spicy could be spicer but it was good. They even bring out a spice tray if you want more. The cook which I think he said was his mom lol was so surprised I ate it with 5 heat she came out to see who I was lol. This is one of the only Thai restaurants in Houston that is open at late hours. They have one of the best pad Thais I've ever tried. It's a little spicy but it's so delicious. My girlfriend and I ordered take out from here on Super Bowl Sunday, and it was a very good experience. I asked for the drunken noodles at the hot level, and they were indeed hot. The restaurant warns you that getting anything above medium would be very spicy, and they were right, which I was very impressed with. I feel like a lot of restaurants are afraid of spice because they feel customers will be turned away by it, but I respect them for offering those high levels of heat that I crave with Thai food. Of course, you can order most dishes with no heat or mild heat if you prefer. The spring rolls were fresh and came with that peanut dipping sauce that you know and love if you've had Thai spring rolls before. Wow, what a gem! We came here for a very late dinner randomly Monday night around 11pm. Not only is this spot open til 2am (kitchen closes at midnight), but it is DELICIOUS! We're so mad we didn't discover this place before. When we came there weren't many people there, so service was fast and friendly like it should've been. My SO had the steak (he asked for the largest one they had which ended up being a 20oz boneless ribeye) and I had Drunken Noodles. We had the Thai Sausage and Veggie Egg Rolls as appetizers and they were ok but the entrees were definitely the stars. Whomever made that steak knew what they were doing especially! Been to a couple of Thai restaurants in Houston but nothing beats a full bar. The bar is complete stocked with domestic and imported beer, dark and clear liquor. I always have a fresh mojito. After 2 glasses I am extremely happy. :) Everyone always wear a smile on their face and as soon as i walk in I'm greeted with a smile. The location is extremely quiet so sitting on the patio in the evening time was nice and peaceful. The food has the perfect blends of spice and flavour. I love the fact that even if you have never had Thai food they took their time to explain to you what each item on the menu is. They are very accommodating with time and making sure that everyone is completely satisfied with their exprience. I always have the mama special fried rice with no tomatoes, extra egg, no green onions and no garnishes and it is absolutely to die for. I also have the steamed chicken dumplings for appetizer or the fried chicken wings. I have never been to this location on the karaoke nights or the night that they have live band playing, but I did notice they have a stage completely stocked with instruments. So this may be an even more exciting spot on the right day or night. Best thing about this restaurant is, they are open till 2 am.... so after leaving the club and hungry, i dont have to setrle for fast food i can have something with flavor and spice. I found this gem on Yelp, and it's only 7 minutes from work! I can't remember what I had the first time but I came back recently for the Thai Boat noodles. According to pictures, I thought it would have all of the protein that boat noodles usually has... beef or pork slices, beef/pork meatballs. I ordered it with pork and was a little disappointed that it was not tender nor did it have the pork meatballs. BUT... I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars because the broth was on point. Boat noodles isn't exactly an easy dish to make. The herbs and flavors were there and by that alone, i can easily judge that this restaurant is authentic. Next time, I'll try it with beef and ask for the beef meatballs. Looking forward to more lunches here to try the other dishes as well. read more
