Food is still good. Our favorite is the biryani lamb or shrimp and the lamb shank called Kuna. HOWEVER, the cashier is rude to everyone and we are done dealing with him. He takes away from the experience of eating the good food from Naan N Curry. It is no longer worth going there. The people clearing off the tables are always nice . I love that this place is local, delicious, and quick!! Definitely a concord gem! My favorite dishes are the samosas, paneer tikka masala, tandoori chicken, and mixed veggie masala. The naan is always flavorful and warm and the chai is always perfect. My only wish is that, for the price, the portions were a bit bigger. Everything was quite decent, nice bold flavors in the food. The only issue I had which is of course quite common among Indian restaurants in the states was the inauthenticity of the dishes. The goat curry was OK. Not melt in your mouth good but definitely edible. My partner loved the fish curry but I felt it was very Americanized, which again is not a bad thing but just not necessarily my cup of tea. Overall a good option if you're looking to get introduced to Indian food or don't want to cook that night. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and I finally did today for lunch! The food and atmosphere were great! The wonderful gentleman who took my order was very nice and let me know all of my options. I had the Achar chicken (which was on their "specials" list, the chana masala and the Gulab Jamun for dessert. I also had some of their chai with my dessert. If you love Indian cuisine check this place. I've been here a lot of times, I always order something different and never was disappointed. My favorites are Lamb Biryani and Chicken tandoori. Meat and spices are very very good. Also I always get Naan (bread), they have the best naan in Bay Area ( try garlic or onion one ). There is free chai (hot milk tea). Everything is good in this place except the small room and slow service, because there are many customers and big line all the time. This is my uncle's favorite shop for Indian food (mine is another shop). We wanted to compare both of them and see how they taste. I personally did not go so I cannot attest to how the restaurant is handling Covid precautions. He ordered both an onion and garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, prawns biryani, and some mystery chicken dish that he could not remember. Overall, it was not that bad. It was pretty spicy but I enjoyed it a lot. The chicken tikka masala was boned in, so it wasn't my favorite thing to eat. The mystery chicken dish tasted very good, and I loved eating cubes chicken. The sauces for both were amazing with the naan, but the mystery chicken has the best sauce out of both. I would consider eating there again. read more

The lamb tikka masala is always good, palak paneer is always good, lamb chops tandoori is always good, naan & garlic naan are always good, and rice is always good. There's so much I want to say about Naan n Curry. It's always hard to describe how good the food is, but I think I got this one: the food is so good that I'm still thinking of it. I moved away from the area nearly 3 years ago and I'm still thinking about their food. I have yet to find a restaurant that makes their Tikka Masala even close. It's so good that it's like a warm hug for your insides. I crave their food constant and I'm consistently disappointed in all other Indian food because of how spoiled they made me. That's not even speaking about how amazing and nice the staff is. When I would pick up an order for DoorDash, they would make sure I tried their Naan/had something to eat while delivering. They are so darn nice! I can still remember the first time I tried their food. How many restaurants can you say that about? Every time we'd pick up food, the restaurant was packed and loud, but not in a bad way. It was like everyone got together there and even met new people. I have never seen so many people so happy. I love it. I miss it. I told my friend that when he comes to visit me from Concord, my only requirement is to bring me dinner from here. I have never been so excited for a visit! My friends and I stopped by for dinner. The guy taking our orders and the guy bussing the tables were both very patient and helpful. The wait was pretty short, and the food was very good. The portion sizes were also surprisingly large. (Only one person at our table finished all of his food.) If you dine in, it gets busy so you might have trouble getting a table with a larger group, but we didn't wait too long for seats. Note: Other than serving the food and cleaning up the table, everything is self serve, including getting the silverware and extra plates. This means you can easily eat family style. I sometimes work in the area of downtown Concord, and everytime I pass this place it seems to always be busy during the lunch rush. Must be good I thought. So when my coworker suggested Indian one Friday, I jumped at the chance to try out this place. We get in around 11:45 and as expected, it was super busy. We placed our orders at the counter and we went looking for seats. The place is not small, but not huge. Seats maybe around 50 people in close quarters. Open kitchen so you get to see and smell what they're cookin. I thing I noticed are the huge meat skewers hanging against a stainless stell wall. I ordered the chicken biryani - basically a fried rice with all the mixings. And since this wasn't enough carbs, some garlic naan bread on the side. The buddy got a lamb tikka masala. And we shared it all. Really really good. Grant it, I'm not exactly an Indian food critic, but my tummy was happy. And that's all that matters on Yelp. The biryani was perfectly seasoned. The jasmine rice was fresh and there were nice chunks of chicken hidden inside. I'm a big eater and couldn't even finish the dish. The lamb was super tender and took the naan bread pretty good.
