Had the best experience here! I love getting my nails done but always slightly hesitant because I am a bit nervous about cleanliness and Nail Bar exceeded all expectations. Ngan and Donna did my nails and they came out so good! This is my third or fourth time here and I've had nothing but great experiences each time. It's been hard to find a nail place in Mountain View that is good at shaping and painting nails, but I never have to worry when I come to this place. Definitely my new go-to spot. Always a great experience here. Booking is easy, and there's usually someone available to take me on short notice. The service is great, and I love that they serve complimentary fruits and tea during my pedi. Definitely not expected, but such a nice added bonus! Paying is also easy - they take Apple Pay so it's convenient. I just went this past weekend and Lien did a great job with my gel mani. I'll keep coming back here! Thanks ladies! read more

Elliot is clearly rushing all the technicians - so it's not a pleasant experience. I felt like a piece of meat being rushed through. In addition several technicians came by to suggest an upgrade (for additional cost). My technician, Donna, slowed down when I asked, but it's impossible to get a good vibe in this rat race of a nail saloon. read more

Do NOT come here for acrylics. The technicians are inexperienced and used the drill improperly, leaving indents in my natural nails. One finger was actually painful because they drilled into my skin. The price wasn't even considered cheap compared to neighboring nail salons, and now I'm left worried about whether my nail will break off at that indent they created. read more

Hannah did a fabulous job! I went in for a gel pedicure and was completely impressed! Stellar customer service greeted me, and the salon had no trace of any chemical smells! I did an internship with CHNSC, and to my surprise, this nail salon is certified as a Healthy Nail Salon by the County of Santa Clara! The organization I interned for (CHNSC) encourages nail salons to stop using harmful chemicals to benefit nail salon workers' health. It's reassuring that nail salon workers work in a clean and safe environment! Overall, it was a top-notch experience, and I will happily come back again and again! My first impression of this place is nice because it doesn't have the overwhelming smell of chemicals but there were a few other things that bothered me. #1 the lady who did my nails filed into my cuticle right off the bat. Like literally the very first finger she filed. It didn't happen again but that was ick. #2 I wanted a cat eye look told me they had it but when I was shown the colors it there were not a lot and I went with a chrome nail instead. #3 when applying the Gel x tips, I could see huge gaps and air bubbles between the tips and my natural nail. When I told her, she brushed it off saying it was ok because gel X is strong... Ultimately I think my nails look good but it just bothers me that the nails aren't fully attached to my nail bed. I can probably buy a gel x kit and do it better myself read more

I came in for a gel polish manicure and pedicure. The manicure was great, I love my nails. The issue I had was with the pedicure, when I came home the gel polish came off all my small toe nails, only the big toe nails stayed. Usually I just deal with the issue and not contact the salon, but this time I told myself it won't hurt to call the next day and see what can be done. It's the next day, I called and let the woman on the phone know of my issue, and she told me to come in and they will fix the issues. I came in the same day, everyone was very polite. I got my toe nails redone and the lady even redid my big toenails. She was very sweet and understood and apologized for the issue even though she didn't do my pedicure. I'll come back to this salon for sure! I like the location, the salon is clean and they offer water/tea/coffee if you want it. Thank you again for saving my pedicure, I'm going on a vacation this week, so I'm happy that my feet and hands will look nice! read more

Five Stars yet again for Lien and her team. I typically get chrome and noticed the chrome wasn't sticking well to the builder gel I got (am a regular builder/hard gel on manicures). Lien is so accommodating and extremely kind. Even though I couldn't come in for a few days due to being busy from work they took me in at the last hour before closing yesterday for a fix, free of charge. Make sure to tip these hard working ladies, they'll make sure you walk away happy! If you have any fixes required, just give them a call, they are more than happy to accommodate and never rude or mean about it ever! I frequent both the Los Altos and Mountain View locations and I am very happy. They are the best! Vibe is great! Thanks for always taking care of me, I am happy! read more

If you have sensitive eyes or hate that burning/watery-eye feeling from traditional lash extensions, UV lashes are honestly a game changer. So get ready for your time there to be filled with information on their services and the consultation to make you feel like you're already buying something. It's a little pushy but their pricing seems reasonable so far and it also means they want to answer questions and help you make a decision that fits for you. The laser facial was helpful in keeping some of my acne from getting reinfected. I'm also hopeful going back will help reduce some of the scarring on my face as well. I did end up getting the middle range membership so we will see how it goes but so far I think it's a good option for people with a busy schedule who need a little extra help maintaining skin.

I contacted them twice. The second time, I asked directly for the location manager, Victoria because apparently another staff failed to relay my message. Another whatever attitude. As a customer, I didn't feel I got the whole treatment. We further talked about pulse count vs the duration of the treatment because I felt what was explained above. They were not able to release information the pulse count. They will not refund nor consider feedback regarding their unsatisfactory of treatment service. I think a lot of the time was wasted for my appointment when the main purpose customers go there is for proper treatment. Just beware, (whatever marked $) promo for their $275 signature isn't all that truthful. Definitely not world $275. Ask around other places and they will tell you it will be 15-60 minutes long treatment. Nothing shy of that.

We got two pedicures with massages and appreciated the complimentary drinks and relaxing hour-long service. I also really liked that the pedicure bowls used disposable liners for sanitation purposes -- definitely a feature I appreciate. The salon is well-equipped with comfortable massage chairs that both look and work great. There were a few small areas that could use light dusting or repainting from normal wear and tear, but overall the experience was excellent. However, my last visit wasn't the best experience. The technicians felt a bit too aggressive. One staff member physically pushed and pulled me to guide me between chairs, which was uncomfortable, and another accidentally cut my friend multiple times during her service. Overall, I've had mostly positive experiences here, but I hope they can improve on being more gentle and attentive with clients.
