I usually don't come to different nails salons aside from my normal one. But, I desperately needed a manicure during my vacation in Palm Springs and I stopped at this shop. At first i was extremely hesitant but my nails turned out wonderful! I got a gel mani with the owner and she was so lovely and took her time to do my mani and make it look perfect. I had previously had some polish on so she did a soak for my nails as well. Overall it was a wonderful experience and the prices were extremely fair. I'd definitely be back if I came back to Palm Springs. read more

Finally a good mani/pedi here in the desert. The woman doing my pedicure was lovely. She gave me a nice long foot massage, which is VERY hard to find these days. Most places slap some oil on your feet and call it a day. My manicure was great, the woman took her time and got my nails down to a great shape, which I appreciate since I have natural nails and not acrylics. Not to mention the place was VERY clean. If I can give zero stars I would, I came in as a walk-in and the older lady working on booth #3at the time was able to do a pedicure on me, I had a really bad ingrown that she was able to take off my right side of my foot and I was bleeding all over her tools, I was bleeding all over the cloth she was wiping me down with not once I've ever experienced something like this it hurts so bad at the moment it made me nauseous n sweaty :( I wanted to throw up!! I told her not to do the ingrown on my left foot I would do it myself at home, therefore she had a little attitude afterwards and kept repeating what I said I believe to the owner, wish I would of walked out and saved my 60$ n tip !!! would not recommend to anybody!! read more

I have gone here for years. But in the last year they have gone way down hill. Today I ran in for a gel manicure, it took the girl an hour to remove gel, cut nails and cuticles and "shape" my nails. Horrible job. My nails were crooked and all different lengths. Now I know why all my friends don't go here anymore. The owner offered to paint my nails, too late. Disappointed today. read more

As you can see, each tech deserves their own reviews. I only see Lena and she always does an amazing job. I usually just get a basic mani/pedi but when I needed something a little more sparkly for a formal party, I told her to do what she wanted and she didn't disappoint. She's also just a really nice, sweet person. I wasn't even upset when she stopped my manicure for a minute to save a little bird who had accidentally flown in. and couldn't find his way out. In fact, it made me like her even more! If you're one of those uptight, biatchy types then ask for someone else. Don't want my girl even having to deal with you! read more

I went In for a manicure. It was fine. But when I went to pay I was informed "cash only". Only one reason a business does that.... avoiding taxes. I usually don't carry cash, but on this day I had some. I should have been informed of this at the beginning. The nail clippers and cuticle cutters were not freshly cleaned. They were taken from a container of stuff, and after using them on my nails they were just put back in the container. I guess she thought that spraying my nails with alcohol after the manicure was sterilization enough. I won't be back. read more

This review is based on the nail tech: Christine, and the type of service I received: Gel Pedicure. Reviews of nail salons really need to be tailored to the nail tech that you ultimately get "stuck" with, not the salon itself. Most of the time, its a "free-for-all", and hopefully, with any luck, you get a good nail tech who gives quality service. As far as receiving a friendly outgoing welcome at the door (?).... don't think that should be a part of the review. But that's my opinion obviously. Yesterday, Saturday, June 20th, it was 117 degreeeeees outside! I was HOTTT and bothered. I knew that I was uncomfortable but that had nothing to do with the salon or its staff. In fact, I have never been to this place before. I call myself lucky to have been matched with Christine who was very aloof at first but over an hour she and I finally warmed up to each other. I know.... that without a doubt that I came across friendly but demanding. It was HOT outside and I was not a happy camper. But we finally got into "tune" with each other and I discovered that she has many years of experience doing nails and she is very good at what she does. My toe nails were so badly chipped due to some negligence on my part that both of my toenails on the big toe's.... they were ripped down to the core....painful! Usually I get gel as the nail polish of choice even on my toes and at this point I need to get nail extensions in order to get a full and proper pedicure look. She did an immaculate job and now my feet look like I have every toenail in place, all straight and perfect. This is something new for me to have to get a nail tip on my toes!?! As strange as this experience was, it was a very tolerable nail session and I would go back and see Christine as my permanent nail tech at this particular nail boutique in the Palm Springs area. read more

I have been a customer of Nail Pro whenever we are in the Desert. The wait is usually a little longer than I appreciate, but it's a salon in a mini-mall, for Pete's sake, so I have lowered my expectations and don't expect high end salon service. I am giving Nail Pro one star because the customer service has become non-existent. I have had to return to this establishment on a few occasions to have them "fix" their work. This is unacceptable for a service business. Then I get attitude from the staff when I request that they perform the service I have already paid for. Nail Pro may be inexpensive and convenient, but the attitude of the staff is really lacking. In the future, I will pay more for salon service elsewhere and be treated with the courtesy and respect a customer deserves. read more

Second time coming here first time I came here they did and amazing job, however this time had the most horrible work done by the lady on the first stall on the left. The nail shape is absolutely horrible each nail looks completely different from the next one some are fat and bulky and others are thinner. Didn't even bother to measure the nails so have some longer then the others. As for me they get deserved no stars but I have to select one to post this review. First time going to this nail salon today to get a full set , came in and the seated us right away. As I was getting situated the nail tech Duy Nguyen was hurrying me up. I had my son with me and I was getting him seated so he wouldn't be running around the shop and talking everyone's ear off. Duy and another manager looking lady told me twice, "can you hurry up he has an appointment" which is very rude and unprofessional. He started clipping and filing my nails down. He filed them so much that when he put the primer on before the acrylic my fingers were one fire. It stung so badly and kept saying ouch and oh the hurts but he didn't seem to care. I asked why it hurt and he said because my nals were too thin. I asked Well if my nails were so thin why did you file them down so much? And he ignored my question and just kept working. He also did not remove my cuticles. All in all he did a very poor job, color was uneven, lumpy all around. WILL NOT BE BACK EVER! $35 for a short set with regular color. What a joke. read more

Very unaccommodating, and miserable energy atmosphere. Work was sloppy and regardless of what is expected from a service at the place is not met to standard. He kept the electric drill doing the same thing over and over, hurting each nail and got annoyed when I contested to it bringing me pain. Not a pleasant visit. My nails were not even done how I asked. I would rather teach someone who has never even tried to apply acrylic nails and them try their 1st time on me, then go back there. To be fair, I think this place is very popular for pedicures for both men & women, always seems busy in those chairs. I went here on Yelp recommendations for nails and had seriously the worst fill/manicure I have experienced. I told the nail tech my nailbeds were very thin; nonetheless, she sanded them with a drill and it actually still hurt hours later. She was uncommunicative and answered her cell phone twice (there's a no cell phones rule posted). The new acrylic nails fell off in two weeks and left me with fungus in 3 nails, which has never happened to me in 20 years. read more

Don't waste your time and/or money here! Recently moved from the Los Angeles area to the desert and was looking for a gel mani and pedicure close to home. First the women argued with me about doing a French manicure saying she had 20+ years of experience (in providing a horrible gel mani obviously.) I waited a week to see just how bad it was after leaving with lumpy, irregular French tips. The gel tips are peeling off in large pieces after first turning yellow. It's the worst job I've ever experienced. Don't ever go there. My pedicure was far from relaxing and so unprofessionally done- also polish chipping. Cheap quality and clearly not knowing what they are doing. A waste of money and time. Horrible,horrible experience. Never returning. read more

After several weeks in quarantine, and looking a creature from the black lagoon, I am thrilled beyond belief that my "home" salon is open. Thank you, Holly, Keith, Quinn for the over the top attention to caring for your customers in this unprecedented time. From the temperature takings to washing your hands BEFORE you sit down and the signing of the waiver to the care from the staff you have shown your concern and care for your clients. The salon looks fantastic -- plexiglass shields at each station ( some removed to social distance) -- each pedi share enclosed by plexiglass; staff with face masks, shields, gloves. I was a customer at Nail Pro for 8 years. It was convenient and clean. I did have two fungal infections on my big toe over the years, but cleared them up with drug store remedies. I was into my routine there and didn't want to look further.Now, as I write this, I have a rather serious staph infection between my fourth and fifth toe. My usual girl left the salon and the new one does not speak English. I am reporting this salon to the Health Department and hope they will do an inspection. A word of advice: Don't be like me, if the warning signs are there don't continuie to use an unprofessional salon. It could be dangerous to your health. read more

I went in for a manicure/pedicure, the pedicure was ok but the manicure was the worse I have ever had. I ask for a gel manicure and it took forever and when she finished it was thick and uneven. The next day I went to Sally's and bought the necessary products to remove all of the gel. Went here today for a mani/pedi treat and although they did a good job painting the unforgiving red nail polish color I picked...my heels are still dry!
