I have been going to this place for over 15yrs. Linda, the previous owner was the best, hard working woman. I love Hanna too, she is the reason that I continued to go there. The new owners changed everything even the price went up. The other day they told me if I use my credit card to pay there would be 10% fee added to my bill. Update - A little over two weeks later, my nails haven't chipped yet :) ______________________________________ I wanted to get my nails done for an upcoming trip, so I opted to try shellac so it would last the full 2 weeks. I did a little research of the nail salon's around the area and decided to give this place a try because they had the cheapest shellac, best reviews (compared to the other locations), and most importantly, were open later than the other salons. I arrived a little after 6pm and there were only 4 other people in the salon, which was great because I didn't have to wait in line. They have a great selection of shellac colors and spent an hour on my nails since it wasn't busy. Pros: - $20 shellac. Where are you going to find a better deal? - If you go on a weeknight or any other downtime, they will spend more time on your nails - Wide selection of shellac colors. They had 8-10 pallets with 10 colors each. - Kim is great. We spent the whole hour chatting and it did not feel awkward or forced. She also did a great job with my shellac and was very careful when cutting my cuticles Cons: - The only reason im not giving this place a 5 star is because they're not very good at scheduling appointments. I called the day before to inquire about the price. The person that picked up the phone asked if I wanted to come in that evening. I said yes and she said great, and hung up. PLEASE LET ME SAVE YOU from the horrible experience I had here!!!! I'm rating them one star for so many reasons but please let me highlight the top issues for you: 1) the nail tech cut my cuticles so low that they started peeling the day after. I ended up with 2+ strips of skin hanging off from each nail! It was disgusting and so embarrassing! (PLEASE see picture)! 2) she dug so low into my cuticles that she cut me. The blood was spreading so bad that she had to paint the other nails first while the last one stopped bleeding. It spread across my nail and ended up drying and crusting inbetween my nail and skin. Again, so gross! 3) the nail polish selection is embarrassing for a nail salon. So bad that out of all the colors and brands, I only liked one color and had to do my nails and toes the same color. There were probably 4 bottles of Essie and maybe 6 random bottles of OPI. The worst part is that the rest of the collection is made up of what looks like a middle schoolers collection of half dried, random, cheap polish. I wish when I saw the lack of selection I would have taken that as a sign to turn and run. Plus when I took 5 minutes to choose (because I spent 2 minutes in disgust at the dried old bottles they had as "options") she rushed me, grabbed the bottle out of my hands and said " this color pretty " and made me sit down... Decision made?? There were so many other things that made this a horrible experience.. She hardly scrubbed the bottom of my feet, she was really rough when using the tools but during the massage she was really weak (more of a "rub" than massage), the pedicure bowls didn't look very sanitary, and she kept looking at me weird when massaging my feet. Needless to say, this was one of the worst nail experiences I've ever had and I only hope I can save you from the same!!!! read more

I went in there today and yes, it's true, they do an excellent job. And yes, they are incredibly slow so thank god I had some time today. I had a mani/pedi french polish and it took them well over an hour and a half. I took a star off because the girl cut my finger. Otherwise, it was a 5-star job. My nails look perfect except for the cut. They even offer complimentary beverages to customers. Very good job indeed. PS: Okay, I gave it the extra star because it's been about 2 weeks and my polish is still looking great even though my nails have grown about 3-4mm. read more

OMG!!! This place is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. Never will return nor recommend to anyone.... The advertise a $15 package but encourage you to do a $20 or above nail package... Sticking to the $15 package gets you the most crappy service you would ever imagine... A cuticle grooming is within the $15 package however if you're having them do a decent job gets you another $5.00 charge. They keep charging $5.00 extra. I ultimately got a very bad job. Went home and took off the polish. I wish I can hold up a sign and advise people of their bad services.... Dont Waste Your Money!!! read more

I have gone to this nail salon several times, but unfortunately won't be returning after a recent incident. While I can say that the quality of the nail care is decent and most of the ladies are very nice, my last visit really scared me and is borderline unethical. I went for gel nails and when it came time for the UV lamp, the machine I was told to put my hands into seemed homemade. The interior was lined in plastic and (what I hadn't noticed at first) had no timer. Unfortunately my nail tech also didn't set a timer, so I put my hand in the lamp and only when I started feeling my hand get hot did I realize I had no idea how long it should be in there. I asked the woman if I could take my hand out and she shrugged, so I did. Suffice it to say, after the requisite four rounds on each hand, with no timer to keep track, my hand ended up getting seriously burned and discolored. A week has passed and my hand still looks strangely bruised and stripey. If you decide to go here, just watch out for that janky machine, and make sure there's a timer running! read more

Exceptional hair and nail service. Binh did my keratin treatment 3 months ago and it still looks great. My cousin and I went in yesterday for haircuts and he cut/styled just how we wanted. He's experienced and knows what he's doing, esp for women's hair. I got a gel pedicure while waiting and the tech was gentle but thorough and even gives massage for basic. Called them at 8pm and they said they had room for another pedicure so I headed over there. The nail tech that I had was a little rough with the nail clippers and too light on the massage. They offer the basic pedicure for $15, the regular pedi for $20, and the spa pedi for $25. The only difference was a salt rub (which wasn't very good) and a parrafin dip (I didn't get this one). I come home and notice that she didn't file the nails very well, so I had to re-file. My nails weren't cut evenly either. The toenails were longer on one foot. Guess I should have caught it at the salon, but I didn't. Bring cash, as they don't like it when you pay with credit card (but they will accept it). read more

I came in yesterday, Sunday, afternoon. Being 7 months pregnant I thought the Special Pedicure sounded like a nice treat. What a rip off. First of all the girl was very unprofessional. I am ticklish. I know that. I apologized in advance. I expect to have some reaction to the pedicure. What I don't expect is every single time I flinch the girl to giggle so loudly I can hear it over my headphones, then turn and start laughing with her coworker. Seriously? The pedicure was $27 and I begrudgingly tipped her. Then today, Monday, I get home and take my shoes off only to see a chip and a line from where she built the polish up too high. Today is 12/4/17 at 3:45 PM. Went to Costco, thought I'd drop in for eyebrow wax. BIG MISTAKE because I actually want eyebrows and just wanted a little clean up. I have decently thick eyebrows, and they somehow managed to waxed off majority of them. They waxed above my 4D eyebrow coloring, and cut my other brow in half, and she said it's ok cleaning. She is clearly NOT a professional. If you like bald eyebrows, this is a perfect place for you. Also, the whole time she was sniffling while doing my brow. She was having a cold and should have worn a mask! If you like bald eyebrows and like to test your immune system, this is the perfect place for you. Eww eww eww. I have been coming here for YEARS. It has always been my favorite place for mani/pedi/brows. I went in yesterday and was fairly disappointed though. The customer service yesterday was lacking and the apt just seemed off. But, I figured all people and business have off days. During my pedicure, though, when they "clean" under the toe nails. I was cut with the took under two different nails. It hurts. I'm debating what I'll dox in terms of the future. I got a basic pedi the first time, and it was good. The paint didn't chip for weeks, and you get to use their massage chair while they work on you. The ladies are all friendly, and I've never had to wait. Great little place if you're ever in the Mountain View area! I likey. read more

I have been going to nail touch since they were on San Antonio and California (over 20 years). I followed my fabulous nail tech over to the new location, my mother in law spends almost $1000 a year to give me a years worth of manis and pedis for my birthday. My nail tech left during covid and I came back a couple of times and prices were raised. I went recently after not having been in awhile due to covid and she wouldn't take my gift certificate even though I had 6 mani/pedis left on there. They also tried to rip up the certificate before I had even paid. Once I finally convinced them to take it, they said it would be the last time and ripped it after payment. Terrible service. The person helping me was more worried about her ongoing phone conversation than providing good service. She left me for extended time under the heat (I literally felt like my toes were melting), while she left outside the salon to continue her calls. She called "amiga", after not saying one word to me the entire time. So inappropriate, especially when she did not engage in any conversation at all. Needless to say, I will never be coming here again. For the what I paid, I can go to plenty of better places that truly care about providing at the very least decent service. read more

I have come to this place once a month since October 2023, primarily for pedicures, and my experience and the quality have consistently been well above average. It's easy to make an appointment and I can always get one when needed. Of my 5 visits, I have had 4 different people do my pedicures and the quality has been equally & consistently good. The overall vibe is low key and unassuming, which I like and kind of prefer. I've been to the "nicer" places in the area (three other places with regularity, actually) but stopped going because I felt the quality of service (customer service and pedicure quality & consistency) went down because (it felt like) they took my regularity for granted and didn't have to try anymore. I tip at least 20% because I believe in tipping labor-related services, so I don't feel bad finding a new place, like this one. One final observation: At my last visit, I saw my receipt more closely when I got home and I had added my tip in wrong, totaling a few dollars over what the total amount should have been (and essentially over tipping). I was so relaxed after my pedicure, I just left it alone. When I checked my statement, they corrected the total amount to the intended amount, and I really appreciate that honesty. read more

I had a pink and white done and had not visited this place before. Since most people weren't trained, the owner/manager took care of me. There were 3 major issues, any one of which would have prevented any future visits: 1) It took 1 hr 40 minutes for a simple pink and white 2) They did not honor the posted $35 charge - They charged me $40 instead without any explanation other than "other places charge $40" 3) I was bleeding in FOUR fingers by the time she was through (not to mention how much the alcohol she used at the end burned in the gashes that she caused) (I only have a phone camera with me, but I took pictures of 2 of the cuts and uploaded them) Yes, this place is convenient to Costco. Super convenient. But for all the pain and extra hour that I wasted, I could've gone much further for a cheaper and better/less painful experience. read more
