I had my first appointment with Melinda yesterday. I've been searching for a good person to do my nails since I moved back to Austin last year from Kansas City. I think I've finally found someone I want to go back to with Melinda. I got the winter special which includes a shellac manicure and a classic pedicure and then I added French for my manicure. She did a great job on both. She made sure I was satisfied with the job she did before I left which I liked. She had a quiet and calming demeanor which was also nice because I like to relax whenever I'm getting my nails done. I will definitely go back and will probably have her do some cute nail designs next time. read more

i bought a groupon, was really excited about trying out a new person for pedicures, right on the way home from work, very convenient. i made my appointment online just like instructed, kept checking my email and cell phone for a confirmation (got no response) and when i showed up, she was not there. I couldn't get a refund from Groupon, so this is just money down the drain. The bad karma is already out there, so i'm not too keen on getting a personal service from this person now and i'm out my money from groupon. great. 6/1/15, I would like to add some comments. It seems the program was at fault in that it allowed me to schedule an appt on a day the individual was closed. These things happen, but unfortunately, sometimes you find out the hard way. Judging by the other reviews, a good service is provided, and there are happy customers. Groupon also let me have groupon bucks, and i was able to use them towards another purchase, which is the good news, because now I can try out another shop with some success. I did receive a nice note from Melinda, offering to provide services, just now sure at this point. But i do appreciate it when someone reaches out to try and remedy a situation. read more

I bought the Groupon for a pedi, and I will have to admit that it's the best money I've ever spent for a Groupon service! Groupons can be hit or miss as we all know and this was a HIT! I could not be happier with the attention to detail on my toes! I like for my polish to be exact and smooth, and Cheyenne absolutely nailed it. -pun intended :) - She was so sweet and professional, and I really enjoyed the personalized service (unlike so many nail salons around Austin where you feel like they are herding cattle through the services). Great polish selection! Great location for people who live South! I love that you can book appointments online!! I'll definitely be back! Oh! The girl who did my nails was nice. (It wasn't Melinda) When I got there I had booked online for their monthly special on acrylic nails advertised on the website, but the price was not honored. No big deal. I felt like she was rushing the whole time. At the end, none of the nails went all the way back on my nails, so when I left, it looked like I already needed them filled. The next day I noticed that the edge of the tips on all my nails were still showing on the sides and it looked awful. Two days later and my nails fell off. I spent $35 to wear nails for 3 days. I've had great experiences with Melinda and have referred friends to her as well! She is super creative, flexible, patient and kind! She always makes sure that I love my nails before I walk out the door. I give her minimal requests and she's off and running, creating cool nail designs for me. Cheyenne did my nails today, and I am so impressed! I got the Groupon for the pedicure and she was so patient with me when I was slow choosing my colors and we ended up going with fun colors/ design that I found on Pinterest. I liked my pedicure so much that I had her do my shellac nails. He attention to detail was amazing! She did the best shellac application I've ever had. She made sure there was nothing on my skin and the colors were perfect (another choice off Pinterest!). I am very picky about my nails (and everything!) and would highly recommend Cheyenne. So part of my Valentine's Day present to my honey was to get her hoofs done (haha)! She takes care of her pretty feet on her own but I thought it would be nice to have someone else do it for the first time here in Austin! I found a groupon for Melinda and decided to give her a try! She has a small one on one space in the salons by JC building. At first I thought, gee this is different, but as soon as Melinda greeted us I knew this would be good! Usually the people doing the girls nails and such don't care about the guy they bring with them, not Melinda... She made sure I was comfortable and entertained! She handed me the remote and said watch whatever you'd like! Netflix and Hulu galore! So as I watched Netflix, my girl was able to sit back and relax while Melinda did a fabo job on her feet! What was really nice was how she catered to the customers personality! My girl isn't one for small talk so Melinda provided a quite and relaxing time for her! The other thing that set her apart for everyone else was her line of skin products! All hand made by her! Smelled great and worked even better! We will definitely be coming back and buying some of her products!!! She's great and I highly recommend her!! read more

They were super friendly but she told me on the phone that she could do a couples pedi nope she had for the second one grabbed me a bench and used a footbath that I have at my house to do it used no hot towels no scrubs and no massage at all not my legs not my feet nothing and the girl got nail polish on my skin never cleaned it off. Won't go again even though they were super friendly but I couldn't wait for it to be over my back was hurting from sitting in the bench the girl was complaining bc she was sitting on the floor doing the pedi. read more
