I walked in June 11 to remove my acrylic nails. I was planing on getting gel mani and pedi. I was told to sit and wait. With in less than 5 minutes a nail tech was able to sit me down to remove my nails. Took him about 20 minutes to remove my acrylic nails. At first he was gentle and towards the end he was more aggressive and unfortunately he ripped my nail off. He still insisted to do a gel mani and I declined. I asked for the bill and a discount. The lady at the register apologized and showed another nail tech and told me I didn't have to pay. With this been said I wouldn't go back to Nailspa Excel. read more

I stopped by yesterday to get a gel pedicure. Now the lady Tina who did my feet did a great job. She was very professional. I am giving this place 1 star because of the service from the other staff who were very rude and unprofessional. I am speaking of The lady in the front desk who collects the money and the older lady who sits sits 2 seats behind her made my experience horrible. Every time I would ask my nail tech a question they would start having side conversation about me which I found to be very rude and they would make gestures as questions were not allowed. After paying almost $50 for and overpriced pedicure I was more that annoyed. I will never return to this place. read more

This mani/pedi was the worst I have ever gotten. The nail polish on my pedicure was outside my nails on multiple toes. I could have easily painted my toes better then what the tech did. My toe nails weren't even cut straight. My nails were as bad even though a different tech did them. One of them has a dark brush hair stuck in the gel nail polish. My thumb was filed crooked. I got them french tip and the corners of the polish wasn't polished to the end of the nail. The nails feel lumpy. I have acrylic on the outsides of my nails. I understand it was a weekend and they were busy but for the price, they could have done a better job. They seemed rushed. Instead of booking appointments when they are busy, they should take their time with the clients they have. Will not be returning. Got my nails done twice here (gel x) & both times the shape was off and a design was done without my request. When I first came to this nail salon they were very kind and accommodating. I did a basic color change and cut and it was $11. I came a month later and tried to get the same service. Bad hygiene and apathetic managment!! The lady doing my manicure went to clean and cut my toe nails, mind you I had taken a shower before I came, when she was done cleaning my toe nail she scraped the dirt she dug out from my toes on the top of my foot and said "I clean for you" .... I said that is dirt and you just slathered that onto the top of my foot, how do you think that's ok... I said please stop that, its just bad hygiene and innapropriate. After, I told the manager, and her response was to say. .."Oh she did not mean it, she was just trying to show you how she took the dirt out." If the mananger cannot discern that this behavior is passive agressive, lacking in hygiene and inappropriate, then I realize how her staff would follow suit with bad hygiene, bad manners and lacking apathy towards customer service needs. I get it its not her business, but owner should be aware how the place is running, especially in these times when going to a nail shop is putting oneself at risk due to covid 19, one can not overlook this... and how you do one thing is how you do everything esle... Do not go here! I went to get my acrylic nails taken off and then get a gel manicure. The guy who started taking them off just starting trying to peel them off! This is horrible for your natural nails! I wasn't until THE THIRD TIME I yelled in pain and pulled my hand away from him that he finally took them off the proper way. He then rushed through the gel polish making it uneven and was clearly not focused on doing a professional and clean job as he was going back and forth with his boss and phone the whole time. There are so many better nail salons in this area do not risk your nail health by going here! read more

I really liked my experience with HANAH. She was VERY careful with my feet, and made me feel very comfortable as someone who never goes to get their feet done. The whole place looked very clean and I also got my hands "waxed" like for hand softening. It was HOT! Lol idk how people do it. But i didn't see much of a difference after. LISA is fantastic. My mom goes to her to get her fills all the time and her nails last a while. So finally after I went to my original salon and the lady I normal get to do my nails couldn't see me (I'm gonna write a review about that place next) I came to Lisa. Mom made sure I got Lisa. There was someone at the desk who was nice and made sure I got exactly what I needed. The manicurists all wear white lab coats which keeps them looking very professional. The rest of the salon was pretty standard. They have Several Spa chairs, clean restroom and manicuring stations They are very hygienic, which very important to me. Lisa was awesome. She told me how nice my mom was and sparked up conversation. She she took off my old acrylics and replaced them with pink/white acrylics with UV gel, I noticed she actually knows what she is doing. She not only knew what she was supposed to do, but she knew what the tools she was using were capable of. She even smiled while she was working. She likes her job. They are now beautifully sculpted and look very natural. They are basically perfect. Cost me $40 bucks because I got UV gel, Pink/White acrylic plus she took off my nearly full set and gave me a design. But it was so worth it for the quality of care she gives. Nails are just "ok". If you look closely you can see the polish isn't perfect on them, the bottoms are chunky or uneven or on my skin. However the actual acrylics are flawless. There were a few times she cut my real nail too short and it was bleeding so that wasn't very fun.... I think it could have been avoided by her paying more attention and slowing down. 30 dollar gel manicure. Got my nails done by Na. She did not wait long enough for the gel to come off my nail and instead filed off most of my gel. She was working real fast and cut my finger with the nail file I asked about dip powder to fix a broken nail. They did not know what I was talking about. She polished my nails. Bubbles on 3 of them and 1 of my nails has fibers 15 dollar pedicure. Mediocre. Filed off most of my cuticles and only worked on my big toes. read more

Wasn't as awful as the reviews for this place say. Nice, new pedicure chairs. But it was a very unusual manicure, she pushed my cuticles back with HER THUMB NAIL! That can't be sanitary at all... plus she cut me several times with nippers. And when given the menu by the pedicure gal, it was opened to the DELUXE portion... no other options. Decided to try a new nail salon, unfortunately , this was not it. At least not when it came to my manicure. Peter seemed rushed and left a lot of bumps and bubbles in my nails. He was a nice guy, but just seemed like if he was rushing to be done. Even when I told him there were a lot of bubbles in my nails he thought one last coat would make it better. For one, Mary is my waxer! She is nice, does a good job,and very generous! I do agree that Lisa is very gentle, fast, and meticulous with the manicure, and fills. For pedicures I highly recommend Kim it Chung. They are both very happy, sweet, talkative and pays special attention to you and to what they're doing. And if there's time they will even massage your legs a little longer. I come here so much that the girls all know me by name and I feel like a celebrity. Went yesterday with a good friend of mine for a pedicure at 1:30 pm super clean shop and probably the nicest group of nail techs I've ever experienced! definitely pricier than other shops, my normal pedicure with callous removal was $27, but I didn't have any issues with my experience which is why I am okay with it. They also make sure to always have clean, new products which I really appreciated. I had Na paint my toes a cute light pink and I love how they came out! She was also super soft and gentle when putting back on my flip flops and anklet. My new favorite nail place! read more
