My last visit I bought my car to have a part replaced and complete my yearly NYS inspection. They installed the part with no issues however they couldn't pass my car for its inspection due to certain repairs needed. MOST of what was needed WAS legit, however they added things that weren't needed to pass the inspection and quoted close to 800 Dollars to get right to pass. 125 / hour for labor for part not needed requiring 3 hours to install was out the park for me. I took it for a second opinion to a shop my company takes their cars to, (very good shop but won't mention who here) i walked away only paying 230 and passing the inspection with the NECESSARY repairs made. Once again I still believe in precision however certain issues might be worth the time for a second opinion.

I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this company…read more A couple of years ago I took my car to the dealer who sold me my car for inspection. They told me I needed new brakes and new tires. Since dealers usually upcharge for this stuff I searched online for deals on new tires and Casullo's came up. I took my car in and asked them to look at the brakes as well. Alex called back and said, "I'd love to sell you new brakes, but these are fine. Come back in six months and we'll check them again." He then installed the new tires. Six months later I called to have them check the brakes again. Alex said EXACTLY the same thing. "Bring it back in six months." Half a year later he says, "Yeah, your back brakes should be swapped out, but your front is fine for now. Bring it back in another six months." Finally this September (during inspection) Alex replaced the front brakes, and installed new windshield wipers. He didn't try to upsell me on every component in my car. Well, today (December 2025) one of my windshield wipers fell off when I was scraping the windshield. I've installed them before: any new blades for the past ten years or more are a major pain in the butt to install - - bad design, counterintuitive - - you have to spend at least a half hour on YouTube to figure it out, and I didn't have any inclination to go through it again. Without a lot of hope on the walk-in front, I drove straight to Casullo's, explained the situation, and Alex came right out, drove it into the garage and re-installed the offending blade. He even topped off my tire, which was low!!! You don't find this kind of honesty and attention to customer service much any more. Casullo's is my garage from now on!

(Pay cash if you can so you don't get charged a small percentage if you put it on your card) They saved me about $300...plus the great customer service made the 30 minute drive from West Seneca worth it. I did try to deal with Schaub Equipment in West Seneca since they are just 5 minutes away from me. I will never again step foot in that place. With financing secured and a deposit placed on the vehicle we planned to purchase, we headed to the "new" Mini of Buffalo (West Herr BMW) to have our trade appraised with high hopes that this purchase would be as smooth as the previous two. We left disappointed. The original trade-in offer they made us -- at roughly $7,000 below what other dealerships had already offered -- was insulting. We sat for over an hour and a half while they crunched numbers. After that time, a second offer came back, following a somewhat condescending explanation of how the market works that we did not need. Still below what we were being offered other places. We were a "no." Feeling insulted and frustrated at the time we wasted (we both took time off from work to make the appointment), we made the tough decision to move on. We asked for our deposit back and were taken to cashier. She literally told us, and the sales manager we had been working with, that we would have to wait while she finished something else. Not a "hello." Not "how are you doing today?" Just a "I have to do this first" with a shush finger in the air. So, we were left waiting again. After about 15 minutes, she tells us that there's nothing she can do. It would have to wait until the next day. We still have not heard back on getting the deposit. The experience at Mini of Buffalo was awful. That said, our sales manager is someone we have worked with in the past. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the Mini brand is unmatched. He seemed as disappointed as we were. And, frankly, he deserves far better. The Mini brand deserves far better.

The sales team is friendly without being overbearing and they aren't the least bit pushy. I didn't feel like I was cornered into agreeing to terms that didn't work for me and they were honest about their pricing, which was great. I never thought I'd be a "MINIac", but here I am, sucked into the culture and happily. Getting my MINI through Towne has been a real treat and has allowed me to meet some new and wonderful friends who are just as enthusiastic about their car. Towne supports the group with events throughout WNY (picnics, rallys, Christmas parties, and a lot of philanthropy as well). If you're interested in a MINI, go see the team at Towne.

I picked out one with a three year replacement warranty (since that's how long my previous battery lasted.) despite the fact that it was raining and cold, and the store apparently had a recent rush of customers, the salesperson wheeled the battery and his tools out to my car and perforated the replacement. I was happy he did -- the retaining bolts were a little tricky to deal with, even for a pro like himself. I've always been impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in Advance Auto Parts stores.

Three days ago, I entered the Lockport, NY Advance Auto Parts store. I have ... been a very long…read moretime Advance Auto Parts customer. I needed some fuel injection fuel hose. I requested three feet of 1/4" FIFH and three feet of 3/8" FIFH. The two employees one in training, the second heavy set associate. Both handled my order. After a while the trainee returned with the 1/4"fuel injection hose. The 1/4 " fuel hose was clearly labeled fuel injection fuel hose. Then after a while he returned with the 3/8" hose that was labeled armormark 50281. When I asked both workers if it was in fact fuel injection hose? They both looked at the screen and stated yes it is fuel injection hose. Which is (and was a lie.) The upsetting thing is this store is a training store for other Advance Auto stores. If this is the way that Advance Auto employees lie to a customers face. It is very poor customer service. Some people on a fixed income, don't need the aggravation of being lied to. So before I installed this hose, I looked up the part number. It is in fact transmission hose. Which is not compatible with a fuel injection system. Then phoned my wife and asked my wife to return to the Lockport Advance auto store and purchase the proper hose. She did, but she needed to drive twenty five miles round trip. To where I was working on the car on a lift. Today I returned to Lockport New York Advance auto store to exchange the above transmission hose, for the proper fuel injection hose. I asked to speak with the store manager in private. I stated the two employees that assisted me were african american. To this the store manager stated hold it I'm african american. Where are you going with this? First off I'm a paying customer who is complaining of poor service. Secondly I made it clear that both employees stated to my face that they were selling me a fuel injection hose. I didn't state that the one employee went off for some time looking for the 3/8" fuel line. When he returned with two small sections of 3/8" fuel hose he asked if these will do? Or that the two employess were laughing and joking a round. During my entire order. While other Advance Auto employees just stood around. Then the manager turned her head and looked at other fuel line pieces. laying thrown on the floor in the isle and said do you think they sold you the wrong hose on purpose? Then continued to make excuses. Instead of saying: I'm sorry please, let me exchange this hose for the proper hose. Or how can I make this right? Instead I received more excuses. So I said thank you. I will not be shopping at any Advance Auto parts store. I left with out my hose or refund. As I choose not to speak in anger. For I get nothing out of seeing a person cry. I was taught that there is nothing wrong with my money. So I should expect nothing wrong with what I buy. Simple thing to live by. My advice ask to see the part on the screen. Read the box or part number. Look your parts over. Before you drive twenty five miles. Because a wrong hose that is not rated for fuel or high pressure fuel. Can cause a very serious fire. Or worse.
