We came here for lunch after finding it on Yelp. it was a weekday lunch so they didn't have many options, but we ordered their breakfast sandwich, a cookies and cream frap, the rolls, and a cookie. The food was great, warm sandwiches, drink not too sweet, and a chewy soft cookie. The service and prices were even better. The staff were super friendly and they had super reasonable prices. Was in the area and decided to stop in for some pasta for dinner. Very happy I did! It had been awhile since I had been there. The renovation in the store was complete and they did a fantastic job opening the space up. The expansion of their fresh choices cases was a welcome addition. There's more grab and go choices to go along with their vast selection of frozen selections. I went for the whole wheat spaghetti. Prepared in house and dried, it looked perfect for dinner. (Note - and it was!) There are far too many excellent choices to take out which is good for fans of homemade Italian food. We are spoiled in DELCO with several top notch Italian specialty stores yet Springfield is tops in every category when it comes to take out pasta dishes to prepare. The Springfield Ravioli Company is like no other Italian pasta shop on the East Coast. This family run business is the heart of what makes this place great. The owners and their children are knowledgeable, beyond helpful and extremely humble (which I noticed when I mentioned their ties to the Philadelphia Ritz Carlton) .. and, they will go above and beyond to help you pack all the pasta fresca one can fit into a carry-on piece of luggage, as I found out the first time I walked in and then proceeded to buy out the store before heading home to California. Their linguine, tortellini, gnocchi and, of course, ravioli are amazingly fresh .. even after the long trip home. You can actually taste the homemade quality. This is a place that only few are lucky to have nearby, while the rest of us resort to purchasing and consuming dry, old pasta from the corporation run grocery store. read more

Best Ravioli's anywhere. I love this place. They make pasta for a lot of local restaurants; I only know this because I asked. You get what you pay for. This is homemade and it is good. You take it out and cook it yourself. I love the Rosa sauce with lobster raviolis. If you buy lobster ravs you have to buy these just once, I think they are top notch. You will likely buy them monthly, or more, if you know how to boil water, and can heat up sauce. The counter people are nice, they are very helpful and they care about their neighborhood and overall community. They are a business that helps makes Springfield great. read more

I've always loved Napoletano Brothers food since I was a little girl accompanying by mother. I've continued the tradition with my own family and girls buying their fresh baked Pasta and homemade lasagna when I haven't had time to make my own. They have now added an espresso bar with seating and are offering homemade italian dinner takeouts and best of all to me DELICIOUS thin crust as well as thick crust pizza (I prefer the thin crust) on Friday's, Saturday's and sometimes Sundays. You have to order early as they make a limited amount of dough and for now close at 6 pm (which will eventually change) but it's worth it! I'm very excited to hear about all the great new changes coming up and always enjoy speaking with Corrado and his family when I am there! Was familiar with Springfield pasta product, seeing it in area store freezers for some time. Never bought any though, used another brand. First purchase was due to an online special...so glad I went out of my way to try out Springfield pasta. The portobello ravioli were superb. This from a writer raised by an Italian native mom... am extremely picky about storebought Italian food and restaurants, courtesy of growing up on outstanding Italian cuisine. Will definitely return. As a kid growing up in Delco, Dad and I would go here to pick up the BEST ravs and "homemades". Mom would make the gravy and the meat, and Springfield would provide everything else. I returned to the area in 2003 and didn't give Springfield a thought. Recently, wife and I were complaining about the quality of the so-called meatballs and ravs available in the stores. I Googled stores in the general area, and Springfield popped up. Wow, talk about memories flooding back. I remembered what the store looked like, the street that it was on, and the smells within the store. We don't live near there, but decided the drive was worth it. The store's changed a little, but still in the same location and on the same street. Bought ravs, homemades, meatballs, and even some pizzelles and Italian cookies. Everything was wonderful, freshly made, and worth the trip. They even have cannolis and will be glad to fill them while you wait. Meatballs taste exactly like Mom used to make, and I won't get hit with a wooden spoon when I try to sneak one out of the pot! I've been back a few times since, and these folks are the real deal. If you're looking for authentic Italian, come here. Parking can be a challenge, but you'll thank me later. Call me when my meatball hoagie with provolone is ready. Ciao! read more
