Been here 4 times in the past month or so, take out twice and dine in the other 2 times. I definitely recommend dine in. Awesome ambiance, well except for that one fly that seams to never go away. The price does seam a little higher, but it is worth the price as the quality of the food is extremely high quality. I've tried the Pad Thai, Green Curry w/ chicken, and the beef stew curry (2x), loved them all, you can tell which one the most ...oh yea you've got to get the Indian Roti Prata w/ Curry Chicken, it is awesome. The waitress that was there each time I've been there is pleasant (the one with glasses), the hostess which I think is the owner is extremely friendly. Food is delicious, staff are always happy to receive your business. We love the pineapple fried rice, pad Thai, mango stir-fried beef, Thai green Curry beef (just the right amount of spice), mango sticky rice and of course the Milk Tea with Boba! Stopped by for lunch Was apprehensive when they said fusion. Ordered a chicken drunken noodle and red chicken curry. Some of the best Thai food I have had recently. This was my very first time at this restaurant, and even though I live only 7 miles away, this area I don't frequent often. I will be coming back every time I'm in the area! Simply put: the food is beautiful. The food is also just as delicious as it is beautiful. The hospitality is warm and friendly, the menu is very diverse, lots of Malaysian and Singaporean dishes, and some traditional Thai foods. We got two dishes served in pineapples and they were amazing. The chicken wings are amazing. The sizzling beef skillet was outstanding. I'm getting hungry just writing this! The wait staff gave us little USB toys for our kids. They were so warm and friendly. The restaurant is *spotless*. Pokok is a hidden gem- slam dunk- awesome restaurant. Some of the best thai food I've ever had. We have tried everything from the roti, pad thai, laksa, tom yum, and most of the curries. I love the family run feel of the place and since the beginning of covid they have really streamlined their pick up system. Definitely check this place out! read more

They always accommodate my Hot Thai Chili demands and for that I am a happy girl. Not only is the food delicious it is also pretty to look at. So happy I tried this place tonight! My usual 2 go to Thai spots only did takeout and they're too far for that. There were a few people dining in (good with social distancing) and mostly takeout (very busy). The Thai green curry seafood, mango beef, and black pepper fried rice were all delicious. Thos wasn't one of my favorite Thai places for food. Came here on a weeknight with my family and we were the only people in the place the whole time. I prefer a lively upbeat place. The decor gives ir a very inviting feel. Loved the decor! The staff is very friendly and will go above to give you a nice experience. The food was ok....nothing at all to write home about. We ordered the pot stickers for an app and they were the best part of the meal. We ordered the red curry with beef.... I asked if it had an Indian influence and the woman said no. Well it tasted just like chicken masala... popular Indian dish. It was good but not what I was expecting more in the mood for. We ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and the noodles just stuck together and the chicken tasted boiled, the same with the pad thai with chicken...the chicken tasted boiled and the dish itself wasn't very flavorful. I went here for the grand opening not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised as the food was amazing. I've never tasted curry in my life or had southeast asian cuisine and I didn't know what to expect but the food was great. The staff accommodated the fact that I needed the food to go even though it was the first day they had been open. The staff was also extremely polite and greeted me from the moment I walked in. The restaurant itself is beautiful - it's obvious the owner put a lot of thoughts and money into the place. Negatives - the prices... $16 for Hainanese Chicken, $14 for a bowl of Laksa. I have now been here twice with my wife. Once for lunch and once for dinner. As expected the ambience is quieter during lunch time, but even during peak time at dinner (i.e. 7-ish), it was a bustling sound but not overly loud. The decor of the restaurant had a very authentic Southeast Asia feel. While the upholstery in the booths looks like it can't really take a spill well (read as "can stain"), it is nonetheless a nice elegant touch (let's hope diners don't get spills on it!). We ordered red curry chicken, the roti, the Indonesian fried rice, Malaysian curry chicken, and the appetizer sampler. The appetizer sampler is a must-try. The chicken is tender, and the curry is not overly milky. The service is also impeccable. It remains to be seen if the supere quality holds up when they become completely packed, but I look forward to coming back here and hope their business continues to grow to the point where we can test that scenario out. :) read more

So I went to six flags great adventure on my birthday with family and friends and we were looking for a place to have dinner and cut a cake. This restaurant was amazing. First things first 1. The atmosphere: Clean, beautiful, and well decorated. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing yet fun and modern. 2. The food- We were a mixed group with three vegetarians, five meat eaters, and two with food allergies (honey and nuts) . Needless to say we all enjoyed out meals. The meat eaters ordered beef and vegetables, massaman chicken as well as chicken pad thai. They found it to be delicious and thought it was one of the best tasting thai dishes they have had. I ordered massaman tofu and it was extremely tasty, I savored each bite. We also ordered veggie spring rolls which were excellent. My sister order veggie pad thai which I tasted and I loved it. She also loved my tofu so we ended up splitting. For dessert, we ordered this mango rice dish which was divine. Everything was so good. Best thai food I have ever had. 3. The service- Superb. Everything came fast and that's impressive since we were such a large group. The waitresses were all polite and pleasant. They took our plates fast after the meal and dessert and brought more. They kept our water filled and catered to our need (vegetarian and allergies). They knew the menu and knew which foods had nuts and honey. They answered our questions and were very polite and friendly. They allowed us to have our outside cake and even kept it in the fridge in the back and brought it out for us. 4. A kind surprise: After the cake, the manager ( I believe it was the manager) came and brought me a surprise. It was such a kind gesture. It made my day. She bought me a wrapped box for my birthday. I have never gotten a gift like that from someone I have never met before at a restaurant. I opened it later, and it was a beautiful tea cup set. That was amazing and went above and beyond what I expected. It made my day and I am glad there are such kind people in the world. I hope this review discourages anyone else from dining here. This place must have been recently sold. What was once the best Thai restaurants around has gone to be the worst attempt at Asian food in the area. The prices have even gone up since the last time we were here. They used to have these nice fried spareribs which are no longer on the menu, but we ordered a pork with garlic instead which was simply a fried piece of pork with no seasoning or flavor what so ever. Yuck! Pad se Ew was probably the worst dish among 2 other curries that appeared to be made by an inexperienced chef. How dare this place charge $19 a dish for such crap I'll never know, but I won't be coming back for sure. read more

Ordered our favorite curry beef brisket and Indonesian Fried rice by takeout a week ago. I downgraded my review from 4 stars to 2 stars because the amount of beef were very much less than my previous orders. The beef were also sliced so small and there were too many potatoes instead. The fish crackers or chicharon in the Indonesian Fried rice were no longer crispy, they were chewy. The rice seems to be to dry as if it was no longer freshly made. This place was highly recommended to me by a Chinese friend. I had a wonderful lunch with my son. This was as close to the best Malaysian/Thai food we ever had. Drunken noodles were a bit on the spicy side. My son loved his chicken curry dish. Portions were large, a smidgen pricy, but we each got two meals out of each lunch. Will definitely return. My family and I were in the area one Sunday afternoon and was in the mood for Asian cuisine. The reviews were great so that's how we ended up here. The decor was great and ambiance was welcoming. There was only one woman taking care of customers and she was real friendly and helpful with the menu. For appetizers we ordered vegetarian spring rolls, chicken satay and fried chicken wings. All very delicious. For our entrees we ordered pineapple fried rice, chicken pad thai, chicken and broccoli stir fry and shrimp drunken noodle. The fried rice was delicious. It had jumbo shrimp which was really jumbo! The noodles in the pad thai was a little too al dente.. and the flavor was lacking. The shrimp drunken noodle was supposed to be spicy but wasn't at all. Although it had more flavor than the pad thai. The chicken stir fry my least favorite.. no flavor at all and the broccoli was hard. Overall we had a good meal but I've had better. read more
