Made a reservation for 8 before a concert. I arrive and there's no host. It's all open seating, zero table space. So we had to scramble to find somewhere else to direct everyone. Why the F even offer reservations on Open Table if your policy is open seating????? Ridiculous.

My hubby's dad visited us on Sunday night. I'm here for it!! Good service. Delicious food and drinks. What more could I ask for?! You can take the MTS here or drive here. We got the Wagyu Crunch Wrap: Wagyu Skirt Steak, Lettuce, Cheddar, Tostada, Refried Beans, Pico de Gallo, Crema & Buffalo Chicken Sliders: Crispy Chicken Thighs, Brioche Bun, Blue Cheese Butter, Pickles. Side salad for me yum and fries for the men. The men also got beers & I got The Tequila Mockingbird. Delicious. Thank ya! Enjoy!

Since we were staying the Pendry, we decided to check out Nason's, its connected by a door to the left of the check-in area of the hotel lobby. When you first enter, the decor is so bright & cheerful! Great atmosphere right away, and all throughout the restaurant. They had HH going on, which was a nice treat. There's the main room with the central bar, and then a back/game room that had a photo set-up for Christmas with a big chair and decorations. They also had some gaming machines and plenty of tables and benches. Lots of decor in all of the spaces, which I really liked. There's an outside patio that wraps around and so great for people watching. The service was ok. Two servers were not super friendly, but weren't rude either. The menus were so crumpled, that was a bit funny! I ordered a beer and we also got a well drink. Both pretty tasty and appreciated the discounted prices. Didn't order any food but we did see some being served and it looked good and nice portions.

Food was plenty. Definitely sharable! The music was chill and there were tv's with football game playing. There are 2 areas. One with a full bar and outside seating. The other has picnic table setup and free arcade games with corn hole on a small patio. It was good service. Staff were friendly.

This place is always a great spot to hang out with their fun decor and games throughout. I give their ambiance a 10/10, especially during the holidays. Als lover their outdoor and indoor options. Only had their drinks, and beer was good too. Overall if you're looking for a place to hang out with a group of people and play some games at a place with good vibes, I'd recommend Nason's for sure.

We stopped by Nason's to grab a beer and watch the Padres game. Located only couple blocks away from Petco Park, Nason's has plenty of screens, games and a nice selection of local drafts, cocktails and typical bar foods. We sat at the bar, the bartenders were friendly and attentive despite our rooting for the opposition.

Came here right when we checked into the hotel in gaslamp. Wanted to start off our vacation with some drinks and an appetizer. Overall ok experience. Might come back to again, but not having any expectations on food. Food 2/5 Chip and guac - The chips were so bad, like they served us stale chips. Guac was good but couldn't make up for the stale chips. Service Was ok, wasn't insanely crowded, but had to wait couple times to get service and the check. Ambiance I liked the decoration, had the beer hall vibe. It was also open concept at the corner so you can people watch.

Wings (naked with bbq/buffalo) on the side

Stopped by yesterday around 11am , to grab some food before our flight . Our bartender was very friendly and promptly served us our drinks and answered any of our questions. We ordered the wings , naked with an extra sauce ($2) on the side . The wings were hot and crispy . The buffalo sauce was very spicy which I loved. The cheeseburger was loaded with toppings we opted out of the bacon which I'm kinda glad because the burger was massive as it is . I honestly wished we knew about this place sooner on our trip so we could've came back to it. They have a game room with retro arcade games and a beer pong set up .

I really wanted to like this spot. From the outside, it looked wonderful. Tons of games.. darts, cornhole, and a huge space that looked modern and nice. Unfortunately, the food was pretty bad. We ordered the pretzel and the San Diego gold chicken wings. The pretzel was okay but the cheese and the mustard were not tasty. The wings were very greasy and we were not fans of the San Diego gold sauce. We ended up ordering a side of ranch and a side of buffalo to dip everything in, which helped! (Can never go wrong with ranch haha). We were given a chicken wing that was very deformed and gross looking. (Pictured below)... I really wish this was not put on our plate because it ruined my appetite for the chicken. Luckily my boyfriend has a stronger stomach :) While the food was edible, I would not recommend coming here for dining. I think this would be an awesome spot to watch football and have a beer. No food. I hate to leave a bad review and hardly ever do, but please step up the food game! The atmosphere is great, the beer selection is great, the food could def be improved.

So the size is deceiving when you walk in. There's an entire other seating area with a lot of arcade games if you pass the original bar and go to the right. The vibe here has always been chill at night when I come. I've never seen it crazy but it seems like the place that might get that way because of the really large seating areas designed for big groups. The beer selection is standard for a bar in East village. The tvs are always playing sports so it's a good spot for that if you're into it. There is a full bar with friendly staff. I had two nice dudes mixing up drinks last time I was there. So the front bar is more for friends and drinking in my opinion. And the game room area is more for the fam and kids etc. It's completely separate so you don't have to co mingle with the other. Haven't had the food here but I heard it's good. Also it's next to other East village bars, so it's a good spot to get dropped off at if you're bar hopping.

I went this past Friday night and the restaurant was located within the Pendry hotel. It was easy to find and the bar had a couple of open tables indoors and outdoors without feeling too empty or crowded which was good as they do not allow reservations. The restaurant & bar had sit-yourself seating where a server would come by with the menu & seasonal drink menu. Both drinks were good despite being spirit-forward and all of the food came in a good size portion, so we took home a lot of leftovers

You have to be within 7 days of your requested reservation date so as soon as I was closer I set up a reservation through Open Table. They do require a deposit which was fine because it made sure that we had the lanes needed for our party. I actually ended up calling the Tavern and Bowl to see if they had any earlier reservations and they told me if the person who requested an earlier time didn't pay the deposit I'd get the time slot. I am so lucky because these people didn't pay their deposit and we got the time and the lane. Cute thing, you can actually have kids come too, my niece who is 5 got to come along and they had a little device for her so she can push the ball, she ended up beating me. Everyone was so kind and service was so smooth and efficient, we got to bring donuts for our party and my husband and I ordered the carnitas nachos, they were delicious. Seriously such a great time, obviously this is before the Padres season so we lucked out on parking but this is a great place to host birthday parties. Thank you again for letting us have such a great time!

Captain's Log, Stardate 21483…read more This past Sunday, I charted a course to Nicky Rottens in Coronado, a delightful establishment located at the end of Orange Avenue. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by an uplifting open-air environment, truly a breath of fresh air that felt like stepping onto the observation deck of the USS Enterprise. The amazing views of the bay were nothing short of spectacular, bringing a serene beauty that rivals the finest star systems. Over the years, my wife, her girlfriend, and I have become frequent travelers to this culinary haven, beaming back for nearly 15 years--a testament to its enduring allure. The selection of IPAs and mixed drinks is impressive, catering to even the most discerning palates in the galaxy. The choices are vast enough to satisfy anyone embarking on this flavor exploration, whether you prefer a refreshing drink to toast a successful mission or something bolder, like a phaser on stun! The menu features a delightful array of options, including fresh salads, tantalizing finger foods, and, of course, their famed burgers. My wife's enthusiasm for the offerings has always been infectious, and during this visit, she and her girlfriend were on a culinary adventure of their own, indulging in the flavors that have made Nicky Rottens a local favorite. The burgers are truly out of this world--juicy, flavorful, and expertly crafted to ensure a warp-speed experience with every bite. You'll find that each dish is prepared with precision, as if overseen by a skilled chef with the abilities of a Vulcan and the passion of a true culinary Starfleet officer. In conclusion, Nicky Rottens is a prime destination for anyone seeking a vibrant atmosphere, stunning views, and a solid meal. I can confidently say that if you ever find yourself in Coronado, this establishment is a must-visit. After all, it's just one small step for man, and one giant leap into deliciousness! Aside from that, they're generic normal tasting tater tots. For the burger, I liked the bun and other ingredients, but thought the savoriness of the meat was just okay. Also, can't say I'm a huge fan of the tiny lettuce whenever I see it. Overall, this joint is not bad, but I can think of very little about it that stands out. I don't feel that it fully leans into being a sports bar or dive bar or even as a burger joint. It's just.....a bar. Apparently, it prides itself as being an original coronado spot, but I didn't get that kinda vibe here. I don't know.
