Went here for the first time right after my chemo and sadly I was disappointed. It seems to be a trend at this restaurant to have hair on your food. My son got extra "hair seasoning" in his taco lol he returned it and they gave him new tacos, but at that point, he didn't eat comfortably. First time trying their food. First tried their breakfast had the machaca with rice and beans. I am not a rice person but their rice was very flavorful and Machaca was very good. Wife had the chili rellenos. She liked it very much it was made with with red sauce and full of flavor. We enjoyed our food so we decided to go back and try them for taco Tuesday. They did not disappoint meat was very flavorful. We definitely will be back again. We found a New Mexican food that has great food. Very clean restaurant. Hole in the wall in a small little plaza but was impressed with the customer service. Definitely worth it to try this one out. Can't wait to try some of their other dishes. Also spoke with Benny about catering and they offer quite a bit for the catering for 50 people, 4 meats, rice and beans, they will make mulitas and quesadillas for your guests and will provide one jug of horchata or Pina for your party at a very reasonable cost. Honestly this is not a taco place you want to visit ! They just have the meat sitting out on display like it's been sitting there all week doesn't look fresh doesn't taste fresh and pricey ! Federico is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. His food is awesome and his tacos are bomb. He also does the taco man thing for any event you need and hands down has the best prices around with twice the menu for your party. He makes quesadillas in addition to the tacos and will provide chips and salsa for no extra charge. We've used him numerous times and can't say enough about how impressed we are each time. I can not understand the reviews like that one from Julie H, this is a stupid attitude from some reviewers with no empathy to a worker: how is possible that you shoot that photo of the worker with no permission??? One of your typical hole in the wall Mexican restaurants that's most likely family owned and ran. Champurrado is good here, it's not too sweet and not too thick. Been going here for 5+ years and have enjoyed their tacos and burritos for the most part. Yesterday I went in (taco Tuesday) and ordered a few tacos and a burrito without salsa. The girl at the register is beyond rude and simply bothered. Won't even make eye contact while I'm placing the order. Just looking around. I had to tell her my order 3x. Anyway I get to the salsa bar and the green guacamole salsa is completely gone. I go to get my order and ask for the grilled onions. The guy annoyed grabs the tongs from the chicken and scoops some up (so not vegan friendly with cross contamination) I get home and give my daughter some of the burrito and she starts gagging.
