I use to like this buffet for the seafood but after being treated so rudely by our server I will never come back. We asked politely for straws and the right drinks after the server messed them up and she yelled at us saying she would get to it. Never came by our table to clear plates, no refills never once asked if we needed anything the busser did all the work. The only time the server who we dubbed the wicked bitch of the west came over was for her tip and boy was she sweet as pie for that. I wish I got her name to complain but she was the only one not wearing a name tag surprise surprise. We went and tried their Sunday brunch buffet this past Sunday and it was a decent experience. I would say it compares to some buffets in Vegas but what makes this buffet a must consider is the overall value, its $7.99 for a decent variety of food and deserts. You know, when you put to work that Rolodex in your head, while you try to figure out where to eat, there is always that particular meal or dish or whatever that sparks that "oh yum, yes i want to go there" well, for me it was their mashed potatoes LOL not the omelet bar, not the turkey, not the biscuits and gravy.... the mashed potatoes.... when the option of coming back to the Native Harvest Buffet pops up, their mashed potatoes will make the decision lol I'm not too picky about food, i just like good food, food that took more than 10 minutes to make and that it would take too much work to make at home, but at the same time, accordingly priced. This place isn't terrible. But it isn't what it used to be. The food is alright. The wait is extremely long. The people at the front desk are rather rude. But the waitresses are actually extremely nice and welcoming. The food is a bit dry. If you've ever been in the military you could compare it to galley food on deployment. We paid 30 bucks for a good cup of coffee and some okay food. Do yourself a favor and sign up for the Avi players card. Our dinner could have been 12 bucks rather than 30. Le sigh. Service is the worst here....food is good...but servers suck...we waited 30mins for our food while others that were seated after us got their food before us w no wait w the same waiter that was helping us. After reading reviews, we went with the idea that anything better than "meh" would be ok. Nope. "Meh" pretty well covers it! Not really bad, but not great either. The selection was extremely limited compared to other casino buffets. Quality/taste was average -- about the same as other Laughlin casino buffets, and not even close to many of the Las Vegas buffets. I thought they might redeem themselves with the dessert flambé, as the options looked tasty (ice cream, topped with a flambé made from butter, brown sugar and your choice of strawberries, blackberries, cherries, peaches, etc.). Didn't happen. He overcooked and nearly burned the brown sugar and butter, so it turned into a chewy mess when it was poured over the cold ice cream. I have eaten at a lot of buffets in both Laughlin and Las Vegas and this buffet is by far the worst that I have ever eaten with very few food selections, most of which did not taste very good. At breakfast, I tried the quiche and it had green beans in it. Who puts green beans in a breakfast quiche? They also had mashed potatoes and gravy at breakfast. When the serving tray needed to be refilled, the server simply opened up a bag of mashed potatoes and dumped them into the tray. The corned beef hash tasted like it was from a can. The sausage and bacon we're fine but the eggs tasted like they were powdered. At dinner they had a Carving Station with pork roast and turkey breast. They did not offer any beef. I do not remember seeing beef in the buffet, other than taco meat. Our impression of the food was that it was not prepared there and came from a can or a bag. read more

I paid, I'm waiting to be seated, lady comes up and tells me I can't Go in dressed the way I am. She calls the manager, they huddle there just staring at me... While there is a line of people.. Just wondering what is taking so long. You can imagine the embarrassment of standing there.. While you are just being stared at. I then proceed to tell them to just give me my money back. We came to this buffet last night and were so disappointed. The best part was the waitress. She was a sweetheart! Most of the family went mainly for the crab legs. A few others had a good mixture of seafood stuff. Me and my littlest one do not eat seafood at all. Like I can barely handle the smell lol But it was a farewell for now dinner so I agreed to go. Most of the time restaurants carry a good amount of other options so that is what I was hoping for. Their website also said they had other options ... The meat carving station had very little meat there and it was cold and dry. All of it! And the older man carving the meat looked like one of the scary old butler that answers the door in a scary movie. His face expression never changed. Not one smile or hello. The mashed potatoes were so-so. Only lettuce and salad dressing with like tomatoes, olives, whole eggs, and cheese for the salad bar. Desserts were not good at all. I hoped to be able to enjoy the dessert since all I ate was 1 plate of food. But that was disappointing as well. Our family told us after that the quality has gone way down from what it used to be. Stopped in Thursday for lunch and the food was very good. I can honestly say the shredded beef , beans were flavorful . Hubby fell in love with the ham - not salty or dry. Mom went heavy on the salad bar which was well stocked. The only items that where not that good - spring rolls- weird flavor and soggy. The bacon broccoli salad was very vinegary. Ewh. Ate here for breakfast because it was cheap and we wanted to get out to the pool early. The staff were rude and obviously not happy to be there. Examples: When asking at front desk for breakfast for 2, the lady says "You need to step over here (2 feet over)" Ridiculous. As I looked at the omelette bar the server snarls, "What you want" The food choices are odd (Mexican dishes and taco meat at 8am?) and just not appetizing.
