I've been coming to this place for about 9 years! They are amazing. I've ordered almost everything, and never been disappointed. However my favorite is the MangoChamoy smoothie and the Fresas con crema. This place is a bit small but we never eat there, we always take our food to go, since it gets loud and crowded. Yes, the line is usually out the door, and you have to wait on average about 5 minutes for your order. But that tells you 1-your food is fresh! 2-that it's so great they're really busy. Best bionicos. You can customize all the fruits you want in it. The cream is heavenly! Nothing like I've ever had and I do not even like yogurt. I get the strawberries and cream, with white cream instead of pink. I've also tried the corn in a cup (canned corn tho but still good in a pinch), and I get it without sour cream, otherwise it's too much sour cream/mayo. I have been coming here since it opened! Yesterday I called and the phone kept ringing and ringing and going to a fax machine tone, I must of called like 10 times! So my husband goes in and there is a girl on the phone laughing and talking on the phone like she was talking to a friend! So my husband got her attention, which, there was no one there!! She made my husband's order which was suppose to be a Banana Split, he sat down and went about his business, when it was ready he brought it home as we were 3 bites into it we realized there was no bananas!! So we called them and again no answer. My husband decided to go today after work and told the manager what had happened and she didn't apologize and handed him a banana. I come here all the time, and have been for many years. I believe this time might put me off from coming here for a long, long time. The service was horrible! We came in, and three people were up in the front counter. No one greeted us or even acknowledged our presence. We stood at the front counter for about 7 minutes before a lady in the BACK kept telling the girls at the front that we were there. One girl looked over at us and went back to ignoring us. The lady in the back mentioned our presence again and the girl finally came over with major attitude. She took our order and left to do what she was doing. The lady in the back came to the front to start our order. She called us up and gave us 2/3 of our order and asked if I was missing anything. I said yes, a milkshake (given this was the easiest thing on our order and the fastest to do). So she looks around to see if anyone made it. She realizes that no one had yet started it and when she asked the rest why it wasn't started, they all shrugged and went on to doing what they were doing. It seemed as if coming in here was a bad idea, the staff seemed upset that we had the audacity of coming in and making them do their job. The nerve on us!! The staff seemed more worried about mixing the fruit and doing other stuff than working with their customers. This was a surprise. A small, unassuming little place on the corner of Ball and State College. A few of my church friends met here because we wanted to grab some juice/smoothies. At first, it looks just like a mom-and-pop ice cream shop, but when you go inside, it actually surprises you with the kind of options that they have. Number one, they serve Thrifty's ice cream, which is a plus. Just don't expect awesome home made ice cream. But Thrifty's is solid. We ordered fruit smoothies. They let you choose up to five different fruits to include in your smoothie. And they load up the blenders with fruit and ice. You have the option to substitute honey instead of sugar for only $.50 which is a plus. The taste was good. Nothing special but good. They also have these ginormous fruit cups with diced fruit mixes. Those looked really good. Good enough for me to go back and try some time. I honestly enjoyed my smoothie here better than smoothies I get from Jamba juice. No, they're not like the kale-ginger-pumpkinspicelatte-wheatgrass-glutenfree-organic smoothies you get from some places, but honestly, if you want just a straightforward, fruit smoothie, Natural's got you covered. For like half the price! Probably my only complaint is that there's not much seating here, so probably go when you want to just grab-n-go. If it weren't for their fruit bowls that are so nicely presented and perfect for meetings, I wouldn't come here at all. The customer service is really lacking and they are really bad at paying attention to who orders what. The last time I was here, I ordered a medium fruit bowl ($35) and they told me it would be about a 20 minute wait. Something I don't understand is that they wouldn't allow me to place an order for it over the phone. I would've been there in 20 minutes to pick it up anyway... They told me orders for them had to be placed a day in advance. But why is it that I can just walk in and order one? Makes no sense. So I go across the street to In N Out while I wait. I come back 20 minutes later and the girl at the counter hands me a small fruit bowl. I told her I ordered a medium and and after some confusion in the kitchen, they realized they had given my fruit bowl to the wrong person. So they tell me to just wait 5 more minutes while they transfer the fruit over into a medium bowl and fill it up. I go back to my car to munch on my fries while I wait and keep an eye on the counter. After 10 minutes, I see a large fruit bowl placed on the counter and get ready to go in. A woman walks in before I do and they hand her the bowl. When the girl behind the counter sees me, she hesitates and then goes back into the kitchen where it seems they have another conversation about whose order is whose. Seriously?? I was just in here 10 minutes ago and you couldn't remember that I was waiting for my fruit for over half an hour now? I have a bittersweet experience with my visit to Natural, mostly bitter. Let's start with the sweet - I came here over a year ago to try the ever so famous chamango drink that had become a growing sensation on instagram and whatnot. Though it was a little intense, it opened me up to the world of Mexican chabet and drinks in general. Now onto the bitter part - The girls working that day were rude and seemed like they hated their job. My sister and I waited over 45 minutes for our two orders of chamangos. We watched as several people who came after us came and received their orders before us. I don't know if this establishment just has bad customer service in general or if we, being Asian, were just being discriminated against. Nonetheless, I never revisited Natural and am content with the many other places I've discovered since then. I can't believe I haven't written a review of this place ! I got hooked by a simple bowl of fruit. The most red strawberries, mangoiest mangoes, juicy oranges, sweet melons and crispy jicama - EVER. all topped with cherries. The fresas con crema (strawberries and cream) are bomb ! They have hot dogs, sandwiches and shrimp cocktails (not so natural but yummy nonetheless), fresh squeezed juice and aguas that rotate flavors everyday. The corn in the cup - you MUST try this. It is a cup full of corn kernels, cheese, mayo, chili powder, lime. Its all mixed and hot, so delicioso ! My life has not been the same since I discovered chamangos from Guanabana in Long Beach (Yelp it and go!), but Long Beach is quite far from where I live and hang out so I have been looking for an alternative. Unfortunately, this place is not it D: They have ice cream, smoothies, shrimp cocktails (that people seem to drink like soup and eat by the gallons), sandwiches, etc. I went with the chamango "special" smoothie with watermelon. I guess I'm spoiled by Guanabana because their chamangos are with sorbet and it's topped with mangos chunks. The chamango at Natural is just a smoothie with a slight splash of the spicy chamoy sauce. It didn't taste like what I come to think chamangos are supposed to taste like. My friend got ice cream there that he seemed to enjoy. This place made a really good slush! After eating 50cent pizza, I was thirsty and saw this place walking to Pizza Boy. So I wanted a refreshing drink that was somewhat healthy and thought to get a watermelon drink. So when I came in, I asked the lady if they made a watermelon shake. Not really thinking of what I said. The lady in a sarcastic way replied "do you want diarrhea?" I was kinda shocked on how rude she said that. Watermelon juice, fresh fruit smoothies, vegetable juices, fruit cups, veggie cups, sandwiches, etc. It's not pricey at all and you can tell they use very fresh ingredients. i have tried several different fruit smoothies and LOVED them, but my biggest crush at Natural is the watermelon juice. it's hella satisfying on a hot socal afternoon and just $1.25 for a small! (just a tip--add a little bit of salt and it completely gives it a whole new level of flavor!) I ordered a twister cup today and I was disappointed: (where do I begin) it was watered down, they didn't add any lime juice, they didn't add chili (even though I asked for it). We asked for chili powder (since they didn't add any like I asked) and they gave me liquid chili, I took it and didn't make a big deal. I put it in my twister cup and holy s*** that was super spicy. Saw the menu online and called and asked how many people the large fruit tray would feed, 20 people. Perfect, I ordered one and I went to pick it up several hours later. The large is HUGE, way more for just 20 people, I'm thinking 30 people. Paid the price was $14 more than what I saw online. I kindly asked for a to go menu and when I opened the to go menu the price was $40. I was just charged $54. I asked why I was being charged more than what the to go menu was and from what the price online was. Their answer, we do not run the online website and these menus are old.....if their old why are giving them to me to take back to my office, why are you still handing them out? I asked for a price change and I was told no. Granted maybe I should've/could've confirmed the price when I called in. My favorite place in the whole world! I have to admit that I probabaly wouldn't have just gone in there but a good friend told me to try there milkshakes.I have to limit myself to how much I go there because I will go everyday sometimes. They have a chicken salad sandwich that is to die for. I recommend getting a strawberry, mango, pineapple smoothie on a hot day but don't pass up the watermelon juice, yum. Try a "vanilla wafer cup" its stuffed with bananas, ice cream, whipped cream and vanilla wafers of course. If you are on a hot date try there banana split? Chamango, where have you been all my life? Ever since I first heard of this magical concoction (mango, chiles, apricot puree, salt... it's like someone read my specific refreshment-desiring mind!) I knew I had to have one. Finally, Natural happened to be in the hood while it happened to be hot. I didn't see it listed on the menu but just bumbled up to the cashier and blurted it out anyway, probably pronouncing it wrong to boot, and they made me one. Well... the chamoy paste is a bit too sweet and not quite spicy enough, but to all-out knock it would be splitting hairs. I very much enjoyed it, I was fully refreshed, and it was overall so delicious I didn't even mind that it looks exactly like someone bled into the blender after finishing blending a regular mango smoothie. (Just look at the pictures and tell me that's inaccurate.) Furthermore, I was too distracted by its deliciousness to notice that my dad was totally hogging his escamocha. I just watched, fascinated, as his every spoonful brought forth a completely different fruit from its waterfall of yogurt and granola.
