I am SO PLEASED with Good Sol. I ordered a small build-your-own-bowl for myself and it was the perfect size. Choosing all the combos of toppings was so fun and I loved that I could get half acai and half spirulina. I asked for extra almond butter and they delivered which I appreciate so much! Almond butter is my favorite thing on an acai bowl! Next time I would just get less chia instead of normal chia. Other than that this was SCRUMPTIOUS and having on beautiful Hermosa Beach was peak. Currently having a huge sugar high. The acai was so sweet, seemed like ice cream. The in-house peanut butter topping had the consistency of caramel syrup and it was also really sweet. Hello Cameo and Chris. I didn't mean to bash you, that's my analytically true rating for my experience based on my consumer preference and what I witnessed. You were working super hard and I do appreciate that. I said the sanitary comment because you were wearing a glove and I noticed you touched the circuit box and the payment process as well as the food with the same gloved and free hand. Because the same glove stayed on throughout the course of me standing there while you were doing food and non-food work that it wasn't the most sanitary situation. I do appreciate that you were the only one there and had a lot to do and I realize it's not a perfect world. I also noticed your restaurant has an "A" rating in the window which is top notch. As far as the sweet açaí and house peanut butter topping, I assumed it wouldn't be so sweet. If the ingredients of the açaí and peanut butter topping were posted, that could help other sugar-watchers like me. I recommend the bowl and topping to kids or people not watching sugar intake so I'm not telling people to stay clear of your shop. A low rating could be a way getting feedback to improve if you're open to it. I respect you being a small business owner and I haven't given thought to adjusting my ratings based on type or ownership but I could consider that.
