wifey and I come to this diner often. The food is always fresh and prepared perfectly.I tried the chili cheeseburger special one the best burgers I ever had in a diner. wifey had a Swiss cheese burger and loved every bite. the people working here from the owner on down make you feel right at home. they also have a huge dining area for large parties with a nice size bar.

Hubby and I come here often that's how good the food is here and the variety is vast from seafood to turf. This visit i had a cheese burger with Swiss cheese and onions. This was the best burger I've had at a diner, it was grilled to perfection. I am known to never finish my food, but I did this time. Hubby had a chili burger.

    Yeah that's the seat.

They showed us to our seat and instead of showing us another booth or better yet wiping out our seat from the crumbs the hostess just swatted some of the crumbs and put our menu down. please see pic of what she thought was okay. Food was standard diner food, it was good and the portions big. Cleanliness not so much!

Wonderful diner, service was very fast, even for dinner, our server was very kind and got us drinks and all super fast. Chicken kebab was very good and went along great with the chicken noodle soup, that was all great, but the onion bread was something else, very very tasty, the diner itself was very nice, interior was modern but still had the cozy diner vibe, overall great experience!

My lunch club meets at the Nautilus every Saturday, and loves it! Everything about the Nautilus is excellent! The staff, the food, and the ambiance. It's open 365 days. Portions are huge, the staff is great!! I can't say enough about it!

Came here with a big crowd after a funeral. They gave us a big table. The staff were attentive and very kind. The inside is modern, yet comfortable. We all had different food items and everyone enjoyed what they had. The portions are huge. The menu is extremely massive. A must try if in the area.

    Dried out Philly cheesesteak

Didn't want a burger so ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I would have to see this is one of the worse if not the worst cheesesteak sandwich I ever had. It is extremely dry and bland, tasteless. I am pretty much a regular here but this food today bombed out. Why do the servers like to hangout in the kitchen instead of serving customers? Can't get a refill in a soda and waiting 15 minutes before I can ask for my check

Giant menu with everything you can imagine, including some Greek dishes. Side dishes like coleslaw, potato salad (oddly, the potato salad has shredded carrots in it) and tzatziki left much to be desired. The pastrami Ruben was good. I love that they offer gluten free bread. Chicken souvlaki was ok. The Greek salad was simply iceberg lettuce with tomato, red bell peppers, onion, olives, and feta. Hummus was VERY chunky and thick. Not much tahini flavor either. French Dip panini was decent as well. Fries were very tasty - crispy and seasoned nicely. Service was friendly albeit a bit slow. Overall a decent spot to go if you're looking for a wide variety of dishes.

    Greek omelette

Diner on the east end of Massapequa on Merrick Road. It's been at least twenty years since I ate here. Menu is extensive with most standard diner far: all sorts of breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers and salads. I had the Greek omelette with toast and hash browns. The omelette was nice and fluffy and quite large. A huge amount if has browns which had mixed veggies. Good. My gf had the thanksgiving giving wrap which had Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce. She liked her meal too Service was quick and friendly. She stopped by the right amount of times.

Everything we get here is consistently delicious, zero complaints! The drinks were great too, including the watermelon juice, regular coffee, and lattes. We couldn't be happier with the service and the food. I will always recommend My Grandmother's Kitchen for brunch!

They asked for drink orders and we were left alone for a long time until the drinks arrived. Though we were ready to order, the server just dropped off our drinks and went to bring another table upstairs. I went down to the counter to get someone to take our order, and it took nearly an hour before our order was in (and even then, they took the order of the second table before taking our party's order). It was almost an hour and a half since we entered the restaurant when the food finally arrived at our table, and then it took so long for someone to come with our check and process payment, we went down to the counter to do it. During this time, another family was seated upstairs and left due to not being attended to. This caused big delays in our day and I had to cancel an appointment because we spent over two hours at this restaurant when we didn't want to. That said, food was good. I got the lemon blueberry pancake, which was a little bit gummy but mostly tasted fine. My brother got the mangu, which is kinda hard to find around here, let alone on the menu of a breakfast brunch restaurant. It was my brother's first time having it, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Besides him choosing scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs, it was very classic mangu breakfast. The real crabmeat omelet was another hit-- crabmeat was so real there were little pieces of shell lining-- really ambitious and deliciously executed. The menu is really fun and the food was overall good. Again, I think the very slow service wasn't on purpose and it's because they didn't anticipate such a large crowd on a Friday, but I would say run if they try to seat you upstairs and you're the only ones up there. Be prepared to wait for a long time if you want the reward of nice food.

We were seated immediately, and from there the experience just kept getting better. The menu has something for everyone, including a vegan menu plus the regular menu all had vegan alts as well, which is surprisingly rare for any place and especially a brunch spot. Everything we ordered was excellent. The piña colada pancakes were a standout, topped with pineapple chunks, whipped cream, and coconut flakes for the perfect balance of sweet and tropical. The pigs in pancakes were another favorite, featuring sausages wrapped in fluffy pancakes and beautifully presented. We also loved the loaded home fries--a mix of regular and sweet potatoes topped with melted cheese, jalapeños, and bacon bits. They were packed with flavor. The alcoholic drink menu is fairly limited, but the mimosas were well made, generously poured, and hit the spot. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. One of the most memorable parts of the restaurant is its unique atmosphere. A large werewolf statue greets you at the entrance, and the Gothic, Halloween-inspired décor gives the place a fun personality that sets it apart from the typical brunch spot. There's also outdoor seating if you prefer to dine outside. If you're looking for a unique brunch experience with great food, friendly service, and plenty of menu variety, Cornucopia Nursery is definitely worth checking out.

Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the food takes far longer than expected. Takeout orders are routinely 15 minutes or more past the quoted pickup time, which is frustrating when you're planning your day around their estimate. Service has also been inconsistent. The waitstaff often seems disorganized, and communication regarding delays is lacking. I understand restaurants get busy, but after multiple visits, the same problems keep occurring. The food is decent, but not enough to make up for the long waits and repeated service issues. After giving this restaurant several opportunities, I don't see myself return

Our waiter Joe was very nice. The girl who sat us gave us our menus right away. I had to wait for hubby to park, but I had time to look over the menu. All the choices sounded good. Hubby wound up with a Spinach Benedict with Roasted Tomatoes with nicely Crispy fries and a lemon Benedict sauce to die for. I got a Avocado Toast with Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onions on whole grain toast. The Arugula salad that was also on the plate was covered lightly with a lemony dressing. I added Cholula Sauce and it was so good. Another point I'd like to make is that the bottles of hot sauces were clean with no cruddy tops. That turns me off so good for them.
