I celebrated a friend's birthday here with Sunday brunch. The food was yummy. Service as very good. Overall a really great experience. You are allowed to order two items at a time during the 90 minute brunch portion. You then have 30 minutes for the dessert items, though the waiter did say we could order more brunch items during that time too. I maxed out during round 5. Round 1: The MARIN COUNTY CHEESE TASTING and the PAN SEARED SCALLOP. There were three types of cheese on the plate with some fig jam and some raisin bread. Everything was super tasty. Loved the fig jam. The scallop was very nicely cooked. Loved the truffle foam. It was supposedly polenta foam but it was very smooth and not grainy at all. Round 2: CAVATELLI and CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES. I think the pasta was my favorite meal of the day. It had a great truffle and parmesan flavor. Soft pasta. Yum. The pancakes were also delicious. Nice and fluffy with melted chocolate chips. I did hold the ricotta cream from it as I know I don't like it. Round 3: LOBSTER ROLL and WAGYU BEEF SLIDER. The lobster roll was tasty but messy. I don't like caviar so I had that held. The slider was very tasty. The sauce on it was a bit too BBQ-sauce flavor for me but overall not a bad bite. Round 4: I did the ORGANIC MAITAKE MUSHROOM and another scallop. The mushrooms were super flavorful. Loved the crispy rice puffs on them. Round 5: I just did on plate - the BELGIAN WAFFLES. I loved the waffles. Crispy outside, soft inside. Warm apples on top and a big dollop of whipped cream. Yum! Dessert: There were carrot cakes, coconut macaroons, strawberry shortcakes and a chocolate pistachio balls. I only add the carrot cake there and took the rest home for later. The staff was very good. Our Valentine's Day brunch was very elegant and delicious. Our primary waitress, Maria, and all the staff took excellent care of us during our two-hour visit. I reserved a table by the window with an ocean view on OpenTable and had to place a non-refundable deposit of $100 for the two of us. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. I think next time, I would be okay with sitting anywhere really. The whole restaurant is really beautiful. We were given our special menus for the brunch, and Maria explained how to order. Warm bread and butter were brought to our table as well as a berry puree drink. You can order whatever you want and have as much as you want. They ask that you order two items at a time. When you finish those items, you can order another two. You can keep doing this for your 2-hour allotment. Towards the end, they bring you a tower of desserts. There are two of each variety. There were four different types of desserts on our tower. The menu offers a large variety of dishes from seafood to lamb. It's a lot of food. I really prefer having my food brought to me two items at a time, over loading my plate up at a buffet and my food getting cold fast. Each dish is served hot and fresh. You get to savor that dish at its peak of freshness. Everything was quite exquisite. I highly recommend coming here at least once to try it out. It is pricey, but you are treated like royalty. Hands down, a must experience! Came for a celebration and the Ritz absolutely delivered. We were seated by the window (per reservation request), which is probably one of the highlights, watching the waves during the course of the meal. At almost $200 pp, we went in wanting to make sure we could order as much as we could during the time limit of the unlimited brunch. However, we didn't have to worry - the service was so fast, that by the end we were well stuffed that the time restraint was moot. Each person can order 2 dishes at a time, and we had the chance to cover everything we wanted to try off the menu and order our favorites multiple times. Some highlights were definitely the scallop and lamb (even as non-lamb lover). The salad also surprisingly stood out, it was really great to eat this paired with the seafood/meats especially towards the end of the meal. I also really enjoyed trying the different caviars, and always love a solid wagyu slider. Only wished they had cornichons to pair with the slider, but appreciate that the staff tried to find pickles for us in the kitchen. The meal ended with a afternoon tea tower of pastries, which we were at that point way too stuffed to take in. The one pastry I tried though, was really delicious, not too sweet. I went for the AYCE brunch a couple weeks ago and it was such a pleasant time. We went at their first seating at 10AM and were lucky enough to get a window seat without having to pay the extra fee/ Immediately upon arrival we were greeted with a berry smoothie shot followed by an explanation of the rules. How it works: the AYCE seating is for 2 hours with the first 1.5 hours dedicated to the savory courses, while the last 30 minutes is dedicated to the dessert tower. They requested that we order only 2 items from anywhere on the menu, they also told us that we should have the next food order ready when our initial dishes arrive so they can keep the food flowing. My favorite were the Beef Tenderloin, the Lobster Roll and the Caviar Tasting. I would highly recommend the scallop as well. Pro tip: Get the caviar tasting every so often so you can top off your lobster rolls, scallops and any other dishes with caviar. read more

The space is lovely and tables spaced out nicely with a nice view of the outside. Their hostess, server, and assistants provided excellent service! Elegantly set in the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, this is a gem of a restaurant with an impressive food experience. We had the three course menu and started with some French bubbly. The appetizer were delicious prawn drizzled in liquid nitrogen citrus composte.. yummy. My wife loved the oxtail ravioli beautifully presented. This is for their brunch services which is Michelin-level quality and also priced. The whole package aim for the highest quality. The Ritz-Carlton hotel, where this restaurant is inside, is of course a high-end one. Valet parking at the lobby and you stood at the framed entrance that said "elegance." Then you quickly got distracted by the breath-taking ocean view. The mood changed to relaxed and joy immediately. It's an all-you-can-eat brunch with table service. There's a seasonal menu that each person chose two items at a time with no limit -- just order another two, since the table won't really fit all the dishes at once. Promptly, someone brought the dishes to you and they clearly were made to impress as a modern Michelin style -- small portion, artfully plated, and cooked to perfection. Unlike others, they restrained from exercising creativity. Dishes are exactly what you expected, just excellently prepared. On this front, they deserve 5 stars. The lamb rack was the best: juicy, flavorful, tender. I almost ordered a 2nd one. The lobster roll was least impressive, still tasty. The sauces or whatever overshadowed the main ingredient. It was a great sandwich, but not quite lobster roll. Since the menu is seasonal and all you can eat, there's no need to review the specific dishes in depth. Just experiment, everything tasted great. Drinks are separately charged and highly priced. The "interactive Mimosa" means you get to mix champaign with juices yourself. They offered two juices: peach and watermelon. I was not really impressed with the juices and enjoyed the bubbly just by itself better. Desserts were the flaw that dropped the 5th star. They came in a high-tea style tower and were, as expected, lookers. But the fruit/sweet/texture ratio were off -- not chocolate enough, a bit soggy, too crunchy, not sweet enough for dessert, etc. To the management: offer a complemental basic mimosa, replace your pastry chef. read more

Navio really has lost its variety and luster! They have cheapened out with their menu a million fold. It's the same high price for 1/3 or 1/2 the options of before. There is barely any variety of the dishes, and they don't even switch up the menu often. What happened to the salmon? The low temperature egg? The risotto? Their waffles are the worst waffles I have ever tasted. They're cold and crunchy. The lobster was hard and chewy. It was worth the $250 price tag (food only btw) when there were more options. Now, there's hardly anything. Who wants to spend $250 for just basically pancakes and waffles and only beef tenderloin and the scallop as the only "fancy" dishes? My foodie friend made arrangements to come here for a joint birthday celebration. The restaurant is located in Ritz at half moon bay. They only do valet parking for about $35 during weekday. Okay priced. There are no restrooms inside the restaurant but there are a couple of options in hotel. It is in ritz so the decorations are top notched. Pretty throughout with a touch of holiday spirit. Their coat check is a bit casual. No tickets are given and it is stored in a closet close to the entryway. We were seated pretty quickly. Purse stool is available upon request. The lady forgot the purse stool for my friend at first but upon further request, the stool was brought over. Their chair is comfy and roomy and for my small clutch, we both fit in fine. We went with three course tasting menu. The meal started with a complimentary mushroom tempura along with a palate-cleansing drink. I find the tempura to be so so. Not much flavor and was not crispy (felt not so fresh). But the palate-cleansing drink was awesome. I had the wagyu carpaccio for the first course. The flavor combination with caviar and the crispy crostini was beautiful. The crostini was very delicate. Love it. The presentation with the smoke effect was fantastic. My monk fish was okay. The play with olive was refreshing. I personally preferred the green olive with monk fish. It was less tart and more nutty. Overall a solid dish. But my friend's lamb dish looked absolutely fantastic and a piece of art. Love the colors and treatment over the bone. Beautiful. I had the Black Forest for desert and realized that I prefer the chocolate without the cherry. It was good with the white chocolate wrap but I was craving more for a solid chocolate chocolate desert. My friends' apple and pumpkin deserts look fantastic. The apple desert looked wonderful... looking artsy! The birthday girl and birthday boy got an extra chocolate tasted desert that was lovely and fixed my chocolate cravings. The post meal sweet included a chocolate jelly ( a bit too sweet for me), a mint chocolate (okay... not a fan of mint chocolate) and a fig caramel (love it). The food portion here is on the small side. I am not a fan of bread but I found the need to eat the bread to keep myself full. Their bread offering here is sourdough. It was very crusty and has a good bite. Again, I am not a big fan of bread. I found it okay. Service here was overall very attentive and friendly. I heard from my friend that their afternoon tea is awesome too. Hoping to bring kiddos here for a try. The overall experience was great. When we got the coat, I need to tell them which coat was mine. Even though there were fewer choices than from previous years past, I did not sample everything on the menu. I made the mistake of eating the bread offered. I tried the caviar sampler, the scallop, lamb, slider, shrimp cocktail and the Belgium waffle. Took the desserts home as I could not eat another bite. We were seated at a window table, but we were only charged $199 per person, with tax, our bill for three was $655.95. I left 20% tip of $131.05, so our total was $786.00. I believe the weekend brunch reservations go pretty quickly, so plan ahead and accordingly. The brunch was a "buffet style". All you can eat for 1.5 hours. No buffet line and you order with a server 2 dishes per person at a time. It was nice knowing that you don't have to pick food that could be contaminated by others. Food: Some of the food was super top notch 5/5. Other foods were hard passes. Some of the top favorties were: -Caviar plate (not the best caviar, but still very delicious) -Shrimp cocktail (the shrimp was maybe 3.5/5, but the cocktail sauce was excellent) -Fresh green salad -Truffle Scallop (definitely the best dish that day!) -Beef Wellington (a bit sweet, 4/5) -Lamb (5/5) -Dessert tower!! While the scallop was prepared immaculately with a bed of truffle polenta, it was actually too naturally sweet for me. Who knew cauliflower soup could be so good? Thin like creamy steamed milk but complimented by pork croutons & chive oil. Wagyu beef slider was amazing! I could've eaten three of these with fries and gone home happy. Tender beef, smoked pork belly, shiitake mushroom, and black garlic aioli mmm. I was already full by the time I cut into the beef tenderloin but oh man, that steak sliced like butter! Cooked medium rare? So smooth and buttery. I felt bad I couldn't finish it because dessert arrived. Lamb was seared & cooked well, accompanied by peas & mint. My friend tried the pumpkin cheesecake and it was the epitome of Fall. Pretty orange mirror-glazed spiced cream atop chai shortbread with candied ginger. She took a bite and claimed it tasted like Macy's LOL. Her hubs was all, what?! I tried it at home and my mom agreed. Remember the scent of stepping into men's Macy's with a masculine mix of autumn & wood? That's kind of how the experience was. The Apple choux dessert was my second favorite with honeycrisp apple jam, salted cinnamon mascarpone, and pastry shell. Semolina cake was refreshing with a vanilla cake & huckleberry compote layer, topped with caramelized popped sorghum/popcorn. Two of us were pleasantly surprised with mini birthday desserts: tropical mousse that looked like mochi ice cream from first glance. Each spoonful was so smooth and creamy like mango. This place is a spot that my dad wanted to go to for years. My sister and I wanted to take him there for his birthday on Saturday so here we are. The Navio brunch buffet is $199 a person not including tip and you also have to pay $50 for the valet parking, so I'm sure you have an idea of where I'm going here price wise. There's a 2 hr limit to the brunch buffet and each person is only allowed to order 2 items at a time. In remaining 30 minutes, the staff starts to introduce the desserts to the table. Regarding the quality of the food, it was immaculate. The highlights in my opinion were the lobster roll, oysters, and wagyu sliders. The service of course was excellent which is not surprising to me considering this is in the Ritz-Carlton hotel. Our servers/waitresses were very kind, attentive, and broke down the rules of the brunch buffet pretty well. The ambiance of the place is needless to say, just beautiful. I have to say, Maria made this experience A+++++. She made suggestions on what w should share and get individually to maximize what we order and we couldn't have tried everything without her help. For $155 per person, the food was surprisingly disappointing. The oxtail "ravioli" tasted more like a dumpling and was covered in an overpowering soy-based sauce. The calamari dish also relied heavily on soy, completely overwhelming the seafood, and the flan with seaweed offered as a taster was simply unpleasant. My steak was just okay but arrived barely warm, which really took away from the dish. Desserts were also underwhelming, one "corn cake" was basically ice cream with a few pieces of popcorn on top, and the chocolate dessert was nothing special. Overall, for the price and the reputation, the food did not meet expectations. I hope the kitchen reconsiders some of the flavor combinations and presentation. Translation= " I want you to take me there!" I decided to take her for Easter Brunch. This was my only second time here and it's a lot different than my first experience. The first time I came for brunch 7 years ago, it was more of a " buffett" style where you went on your own to the tables and picked what you want to eat. This time around, you get to pick 2 items at a time and pretty much as many times as you want or your belly can fill up within 1.5 hours and leaving 30 minutes for dessert. The ambiance here was simply elegant and classy. Loved how they decorated the reataurant and hotel for Easter w/ flowers and eggs everywhere. A costumed bunny even walked around to say hello! Service: excellent! Food: Sweet like chocolate chip pancakes to savory pasta and lobster... Nice selection of items and well executed. My favorites that I ordered 2x were the pan seared scallop and the lobster w/ beure blanc sauce. I asked the server if the menu was different on a regular Sunday brunch. He told me not much since most of the core items will be there along with more seasonal items offered. There is a 50 dollar charge for parking. And the price per person for Easter was $255. Took my husband here for a birthday meal. Made reservations online via Tock. Restaurant opens up at 10am and you will have to pay extra to sit by the window to overlook the ocean. Comes with complimentary bread and butter (don't fill up on these ) Complimentary mimosa ( 1 glass each) and a small serving of a juice smoothie (1-2 oz) . All the items on the menu are all you can eat. Each person can order two dishes at a time. The server will serve all the dishes beautifully plated to you. I recommend each person order different dishes to be able to try the whole menu. There is a lot of stuff on there and it's tough to try everything. Our favorite bites : Scallop 10/10 hands down. Served with truffle polenta. This was very flavorful. Ordered two of these each person. Lobster - served with caviar. Also very tasty bite. Crab cake - delicious and plenty of crab Smoked salmon on potato pancake - also tasty topped with caviar and the crunch of potato pancake was similar to hash brown Benedict - the Benedict was very tasty Belgian waffle - served with homemade whipped cream. My husband and I came for their weekend brunch AYCE $199/person. They really be trying to get you w/that additional $50/person window seating. I'd say if you reallyyyy wanna do that, it's only worth it if you're 2 people b/c the table is set-up so you're both facing the window. If you're more than 2 people, and the way they've set up the tables, it seems at least one of you will have your back to the window. As we observed, a couple people in a party had their backs to the window the whole time. it seemed like kind of a waste of $100? but that's just me. We lucked out b/c we were seated behind one of those window tables, but the table was empty so we didn't have anyone or anything blocking our view of the window during our meal :) We could still see the boats passing in the ocean. OH yeah, we came on a Saturday when it's less busy since they only have 2 seatings while Sunday they have 3 (according to one of the staff). Our reservation was at 11:15am and I liked where we sat. Navio seemed to be split in 2 rooms, we were in the farther one and it was more intimate and quiet which I liked! We were only 3 parties. The service from Dante and Maria and was excellent. They were a great team. Dante was on it w/taking our next orders, I think they got it timed like they know when to come back to you and Maria was on it too w/clearing our plates, refilling our waters and coffee. Maria was the sweetest as well. The brunch came with complimentary bread, a juice shot/smoothie, and 1 mimosa. There's so many yummy items to pick from. Our favorite dish of them all was hands down the pan seared scallop w/truffle polenta. We ordered that dish 6 TIMES, 3 for my husband and 3 for me. We just kept going back to that one. Absolutely delicious. I think my least favorites were: the Belgian waffle and the eggs benedict. Belgian waffle: The portion was quite big. I was expecting a bit of a crunchy exterior and soft inside, but it was kinda crunchy all the way through. felt like I was eating a cracker w/whipped cream. The whipped cream was good and the berry compote too. just wish the waffle was soft. hubby took a bite and agreed. Egg benedict: the english muffin was tough to cut into, that thing was hard. We didn't have breakfast that morning so we showed up w/an empty tummy. The 1.5 hours was plenty of time to eat and try everything we wanted. we got so full! then the last 30 minutes was for dessert. A tower of 4 desserts. you don't have to pick and get them all. My favorite was the macaron w/the peach fillling! my least favorite was the s'mores cake. I liked the Mexican chocolate mousse in it, but not the other s'mores components and I left it on the plate, which is a hard thing for me to do. It was my husband's favorite though and he'll tell you how great it was. However, he was so stuffed too that he didn't want mine! You will leave full. My husband also ordered the Bloody Mary package, $40. unlimited bloody mary's and your 3 choices: traditional, bacon, and spicy jalapeno. His favorite was the jalapeno which he ordered 2x. Areas of improvement: -For the price at $199/person, I think it could include coffee as well. Coffee was separate at $7/coffee and we ordered 2. -Valet $50. Again, I feel for the price it could be included or reduced since we're only there for 2 hours. We enjoyed our brunch and service was great, we would return. read more

What a tremendously underwhelming experience. I visited Navio this past Sunday, hoping to have an anniversary brunch with my partner. The last time I had been to Navio was pre-pandemic, and it was magnificent back then. The food quality was superb, options plentiful, service impeccable, and the value was well worth it. It was nearly impossible to get a reservation back then, especially on short notice. I should have suspected something was off when there was multiple reservation time options for a same day reservation. The first disappointment was when I arrived there for the brunch and found out right away that the valet parking was $50.00. This sign did not bode well for the rest of the afternoon. Another ominous sign was the half-empty dining area, where in years past, you'd wait in an aggressive and boisterous line to get in. After being seated I had expected at least a couple glasses of champagne to be served to toast the anniversary with as in years past, but none came or were offered. Next surprise was the menu, the variety of dishes offered were minimal and sparse. During the drive over I had been chatting with my partner about the delicious dim sum and sushi we had enjoyed on our last visit. Nothing even close to that was offered. We started the meal with the caviar and cheese samplers. The quality of the cheese was fine, but only 3 different kinds were on the sampler. The caviar portions were minuscule, and a proper caviar spoon was not even provided. We then ordered the scallop and lobster roll. The scallop was perhaps the best thing I ate there, cooked correctly and tasty. Lobster roll was very underwhelming, bland and goopy. My partner could not even finish hers, it actually turned her stomach, and she was unable to continue eating after that, except for a couple of dessert bites, so no more dishes were ordered by her. I then tried the beef and it was the second best item on the meager menu after the scallop, cooked correctly and the sauce was tasty. Following that I tried the Waygu slider and the navy bean soup. The slider was overwhelmingly greasy as it was stacked with pork belly, not sure who dreamt up that combo, but they should know the high fat content of the waygu is more than enough on it's own. Navy bean soup was soup, not too much more I can add to that. I also tried the salad and it was difficult to eat with large lettuce leaves, unstable container/bowl, and also very bland dressing. At this point I was really hoping the dessert would salvage same some of the afternoons experience, but I was headed for more disappointment. While beautifully presented, the tastes was unmemorable and generic. This was a far far cry from the outstanding dessert area with plentiful options of years past. We were presented with a small anniversary cake bite with a decorated plate. Taste was good, but not something I'd go raving about as a must-try. I'll talk about the Pros now: 1. Fantastic service. The main server and his team were top-notch. They were attentive and I enjoyed being served by them. 2. The view. As always, it's tough to be disappointed by the amazing views of the sea and golf course. It was a beautiful clear day. However, even the spectacular view could not salvage the underwhelming menu and sub-par for the price-point food. Conclusion: All in all, spending $400 on just the dining was a borderline waste of money. While the service was outstanding and up to Ritz standards, the food was not. I will not be returning to Navio for another brunch, nor will I ever recommend it again to friends and out-of-towners looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Save your hard-earned dollars and go somewhere the food delights and engages the senses, there are so many top-notch options in the Bay Area at this price point. Sure they may not have the same ocean ambiance, but at least you won't feel ripped off. read more

Whatever happened to celebrating at Chuck E. Cheese's? This used to be what our two daughters would ask for on their birthdays, but things have drastically changed now that they are both adults... My wife made the Weekend Brunch reservation so off we went to Half Moon Bay. Food was topnotch and totally worthy of five stars, but having to pay an extra $50 for parking was immoral. For a window table, that's another $50. Even on a day when those tables were not reserved, they would not give customers a free upgrade. No worries, we got to enjoy the view from afar. Pan Seared Scallop - This was my hands-down favorite! It was beautifully plated resting on top of a truffle polenta and basil oil. It did not just look the part - it was very fresh and delicious, too! Lobster - Perfectly cooked and paired with a rich beurre blanc sauce. Nobody remembers second place, but this one I did. Blue Prawns - These three huge prawns were fantastic - plump, sweet, and juicy. Half Moon Bay Benedict - A picture paints a thousand words... especially with a runny egg in it! This was perfect with the Dungeness crab in the mix. Alaskan King Crab Legs - Another tasty dish, but this looked a bit underwhelming. They chose to serve two small pieces instead of showcasing how big a king crab leg is. We got everything we wanted to try in the allotted 1.5 hours for the savory menu and then we each reordered our winners. The final half hour was reserved for the dessert tower, which was average at best. This was an impressive brunch experience and we were treated to an excellent array of splendid food. Be sure to reserve your spot through open table for a brunch dining experience. Currently (May 11, 2025) priced at $255 per person + tax and 20% gratuity. All you can eat for 90 minutes, then dessert tower for the last 30 minutes. Order two dishes at a time (per guest). They offer an extensive wine pairing and elaborate cocktails($26 per drink). Definitely recommend the caviar (sturgeon, trout, and paddlefish). The scallop was perfectly seared and served with an incredible creamy sauce. For Mother's Day, they featured rack of lamb and smoked salmon eggs Benedict. Lamb, charred on the outside, and tender red center(one of the best menu items). The eggs Benedict, perfectly poached, runny egg over spinach and tomato with hollandaise sauce. Another savory offering was their beef tenderloin over potato parmentier(like a creamy mashed potatoes). Soft, tender, smoky beef over this silky smooth mashed potatoes. For the vegetarian option, they offered the Maitake mushroom with ponzu nori rice pearls, which was surprisingly delicious, tasting citrus and savory. The shrimp cocktail dish offered three colossal shrimp over a spicy cocktail sauce. We also loved the lobster roll, small but generous amounts of main lobster meat with smoked trout caviar. The navy bean soup was very tasty, thick chunks of bacon. I loved the berry Belgium waffle, with came with house made whipped cream and real maple syrup. Absolutely delicious blueberry and strawberry sauce over the crispy Belgium waffles. After 90 minutes, and ordering 3 servings of caviar, I was completely satisfied. The final dessert tower was impressive: chocolate cappuccino tiramisu, fruit pain de gene, s'more chocolate cheesecake, and Mother's Day strawberry shortbread! read more

The food is excellent. All the best tastes in one table. The pan seared scallop was outstanding, the cocktail shrimps were fresh and tasty. The slider was perfect. The lamb rack was tender and really great with the fresh mint . The caviar and cheese tasting was amazing. The table setting was decadent. The service was A Class special mention to Mariano snd Arturo. Their hostess was so kind and sweet too . The attention given to the patrons is very commendable. The Ritz is a very nice place to visit. I did a TikTok while there and had so many viewers. People thought I was on vacation on some Exotic Island.Yes the price is not easily affordable but you really get what you pay for but in this instance it is worth it plus a whole lot more. I reserved Navio for my husbands birthday about a month in advance since he wanted some type of brunch buffet experience but he ended up having such a great time that we're looking forward to coming back again soon! We arrived a bit early for our reservation and they were able to seat us without a problem and gave us some complementary mimosas to start with along with a menu. There isn't a serve yourself station like other buffets, instead you order two items off the menu at a time and they will bring it to you. While you work on eating the current items, you can place in two more orders. We divvied up the menu so we were able to try everything on the menu at least once. My absolute favorite item was the scallops as they were seared perfectly and the truffle polenta with it was to die for! His favorite was the wagyu beef slider and I thought that was pretty decent too. Hard passes were the pumpkin soup as that was too salty and the beet risotto. After about two hours, they brought out the dessert tower and his birthday dessert. We were so full by then we opted to take it home but the apple tart that they gave us tasted amazing! We had a great time at this restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pretty mellow until they seated a table next to us that was pretty loud. We had a great view of the ocean and it was a perfect sunny day outside so we walked around after with our mimosas. We will definitely come back for their brunch again! read more

We had dinner for six in the private dining area. It looks like a corporate meeting room - very austere, no tablecloth, or flowers. Service is warm and polite but very slow (dinner is 3.5 hours) - three course dinner. "a nice tablescape is an indication that you care about your guests" - I guess not really. The pasta is great, as are the duck and trout. The mushy, lean wagyu (isn't wagyu supposed to be rich?) is disappointing but the pepper gravy is delicious. Very nice staff, lovely view. Dinner for six is $1300 (we didn't order much wine). The dining room has tablecloths and is less minimalist. read more
