    Turkey sandwich
    Madison B.

I saw this spot recently opened up and had to try it! Staff were really friendly when I came in and they had a kiosk to make ordering easy. I love that you can customize your sandwich as you see fit (think the highest quality subway) to get exactly what you're craving. There were tons of options on their menu & they had gluten free options too! I got the turkey sandwich & chips and it was delicious. Perfect serving size and made with care. The Dijon added the perfect amount of spice and the bread was clearly fresh. I am so excited to have a good sandwich spot near me! You can tell the staff really care about what they are doing. Feels like a great local business and I can't wait to come back.

Pretty solid sandwich spot! Bread was good, buffalo chicken was tasty. The pickle was crisp. I went for the grand opening and got an upgraded meal for free which was a nice surprise! The have a fun chip selection and Hubert's lemonade as an option for fountain soda. The staff were friendly. There is nice outdoor seating with umbrellas and additional seating indoors.

Love Sourdough & Co. Their sandwiches are great and I am so glad there is now one closer to where I live. We stopped at the Orange location today and the girl who made the sandwiches was super friendly and her customer service skills are fantastic! The Crispy Chicken sandwich was great! The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The prices are also reasonable! Highly Recommended!

Excited that we're getting some new food spots in the area. My coworker and I stopped in for lunch during the week. There is plenty of parking but as another review stated, you do have to climb stairs to get inside. There were a few other parties in there but there was only one person ahead of us and the order process seemed to go quickly. I ordered the cranberry turkey with baked potato soup and my coworker ordered the French dip with their Mac and cheese. We opted to sit outside because it was a gorgeous SoCal day and who wouldn't what to take advantage of that? It did take some time for our food to arrive and when we were about halfway through our sandwiches, I realized that my coworker hadn't received his Mac and cheese. Fortunately an employee brought it out without us having to ask for it. However communication that it would take a little bit longer when we received the rest of our food would have been great. The cranberry turkey sandwich was ok. I could see the cranberry sauce on there but didn't get much flavor from it. Fortunately the baked potato soup was hearty and delicious. My coworker enjoyed his sandwich. The Mac and cheese was rich. We work in the area and will definitely go back to give it another try. *Apologize for the hue on the pictures! There umbrellas are red.

Pleasantly surprised with the sandwiches and the bread is fantastic! So glad we've finally got a good sandwich spot in YL!

I recently stopped by Sourdough & Co., and overall it was an okay experience. The place felt clean and welcoming, and the sourdough bread was clearly fresh, which I really appreciated. I ordered the #13 Garlic Pesto Turkey, and the ingredients like the provolone, tomato, and onion all tasted fresh and worked well together. That said, there were a couple of things that didn't quite hit for me. The garlic pesto flavor was barely noticeable, which was disappointing since it's supposed to be a key part of the sandwich. I was expecting something bold and garlicky, but it ended up feeling more like an afterthought. Also, my Coke tasted diluted, like the mix was off, so it wasn't very satisfying. Overall, I liked the fresh ingredients and the place's vibe, but the lack of pesto flavor and the weak drink took away from the experience a bit. It wasn't bad, but it didn't quite stand out either. With a few tweaks, it could definitely be better.

I'm always excited for a new place to open near me. I drive by this shopping center several times a week so I'm always keeping an eye out for new places to try. First, I'm not sure who created this Yelp page, but the place is called Sourdough & Co, not just Sourdough. Second, it's not that big inside, but they have a good-sized patio in the front. Third, they're still waiting for their liquor license, which I'm sure will bring more people in. The people working there are super nice. They're still working out some kinks, but that's to be expected for a new location. After ordering in person, I was able to find their app, and also saw they have a screen you can order from that's not near the register, which is a good thing! So many restaurants place the self-order screen right next to the regular register, and it just creates a cluster of people that no one can maneuver through. The food is really good. Not sure I'd call it great, but it's tasty. It's also more expensive that another local sourdough bread company, and the meat isn't as plentiful. The sandwich I ordered was nice and hot though which I appreciated. The cookies are pretty dang good, but also on the pricey side. They get a bonus star for having Coke products and free refills! I haven't looked at the app to see if there are rewards you can earn, but that's not a deal breaker. I'm sure I'll visit again as they have pizza, which I always have to try.

There's a Panera right across the parking lot. Dont go there. Go here. Their sandwiches are SO GOOD!! The french dip is amazing. Its a bit pricey but so worth it. The staff is friendly. The place is clean. I will be back many many more times.

I'm so happy to have a quality place nearby in Orange. They offer an array of tasty, fresh sandwiches, salads, soups, flatbreads, and you can top it off with a cookie (be sure to ask them to warm up the cookie so it's soft and gooey). I ordered the turkey sandwich (on sourdough, of course) 10/10 with freshness, a great chew to the bread, and the perfect amount of ingredients. I will confess that while I was waiting for my sandwich to be made, I had a warmed Lemon Cooler cookie (10/10) that was perfection! Your order may take a minute as they are customizing each one so be patient. The service was happy, friendly and helpful. They offer order ahead, kiosk ordering or in person if you need some extra help or have questions. They also have indoor and patio seating. Bathrooms available. A beverage self serve station. Pricing is competitive and priced right for the quality and quantity. Grab your rewards using their app and your phone number and plan to come back again and again to try it all. Thanks for bringing freshness, healthy, and a great place to make me want to stay in Orange to eat.

Loved this place! Sandwiches are great and the chili was even better! Only bad thing was the store is a little small. You stand in line next to people sitting at the tables.

Cobb salad. (So much bigger before digging in.)

My son called Culinary Dropout and spoke with Olivia, the hostess, to see if the kitchen was still serving. Olivia responded with genuine warmth and kindness, assuring us that the kitchen was still open and that they would be happy to welcome us. From the moment we arrived, Olivia's hospitality set the tone for an exceptional evening. She greeted us with a warm smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and promptly seated us. Shortly after, our server, Layla, introduced herself. Despite the late hour, she was energetic, engaging, and had an infectious enthusiasm that elevated the entire dining experience. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Great food certainly matters, but it was the exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and positive energy of the staff that made the evening truly memorable. A sincere thank you to Layla, Olivia, Emanuel, Dave, and the entire Culinary Dropout team for creating such a first-class dining experience. We look forward to returning soon and will gladly recommend your restaurant to family and friends.

And she comes around from time to time to check on us to make sure we're enjoying our food. Really nice to receive this kind of attention from a fast-casual restaurant. The Santa Maria BBQ Salad looked good but I asked her if they could substitute the chicken with the Chimichurri steak and she said "sure!" And surprisingly they did not charge extra! I love restaurants that are flexible like this. My salad bowl was SO good and filling. Lots of good stuff in it: chopped salad mix, coleslaw mix, Applewood-smoked bacon, crumbled goat cheese, corn & black bean salsa, grape tomatoes. Served with chipotle ranch dressing and blackberry BBQ sauce on the side, and a fresh baked focaccia bread. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cold meat. I was under the impression that the meat was going to be hot. My BF got the Southwestern Sandwich. It was delicious. All the Southwestern flavors were there but not overwhelming. The sandwich was hot and juicy. For a restaurant that makes everything from scratch, their prices are very affordable. Both our meals were only $27 total. The pricing point is kind of a stretch for work lunch hour meals. I'm not sure that too many people are going to be willing to pay $25 for their lunches but the quality of food seems to be on point and that is rare around the downtown area where most restaurants serve burgers, fries, and all sort of deep fried dishes. For that price, honestly, my bigger beef was eating out of paper plates. Chipotle does this, but their meals are a lot more generous and cheaper. I think you should definitely give this place a try at least once and then decide whether to come back by yourself. The food was good.

Unfortunately, my experience yesterday, 8/17/26, was very different. I'm leaving this review not to get anyone in trouble, but because I genuinely hope management takes the feedback seriously and makes the necessary corrections so this remains a place customers actually want to return to. Around 1:00 p.m., we were at the registers when there was an issue with one of the cash registers, which understandably caused some confusion. One employee told me, "I can take you," only to find out that she couldn't, and I ultimately had to move to the other register. I was hoping to order breakfast. By the time I reached the register, it had just turned 1:01 p.m. The employee told me, with a sarcastic smirk, that breakfast had ended at 1:00. I understand that restaurants have set hours and policies, but given that it had literally been one minute past the cutoff, I expected at least an attempt to provide good customer service--such as offering to check with the manager on duty. Instead, I had to ask her to ask the manager myself. What was most disappointing, however, was the overall attitude. The two ladies working at the registers, were talking to each other as though they were not on the clock, while two customers were standing at the register waiting to order. The interaction came across as dismissive, rude, and lacking even basic customer service. If you don't want to interact with customers with professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude, then unfortunately, you may be in the wrong industry. Even my fiancé, who is extremely easygoing and rarely gets bothered by these things, was taken aback by the dismissive and entitled behavior we experienced. Again, this review is not about getting anyone in trouble. It's about accountability and improvement. We frequent this location because we enjoy it, and we want to continue supporting it. But customer service matters just as much as the food. I hope management addresses what happened so that other loyal customers don't walk away feeling disrespected or unwelcome. Also, the bathrooms were an absolute mess, toilet paper on floor, not in its holder. There were no toilet seat covers, no paper towels, ect. as shown in photos below.

We were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather under the fire bistro lights. You walk up and order at the counter then find a table. We were able to call ahead and reserve our table for our party of 8. Which was perfect! The hostess was so sweet and kind! The food was so delicious! We tried the fettuccine, the chicken Parmesan (my favorite), the pasta camera and the steak and gnocchi. We also had the fried mozzarella, the chopped salad, Caesar salad and the garlic bread. It was so fresh and flavorful. We will be coming back next time we are in town.

We were told a party of 6 on a Saturday would be easy. It was not easy. It's also not a full…read moreservice restaurant. Basically, you order at the counter and then get seated.. Let me tell you, getting seated was a mess, the high chair took forever, and asking for plates and utensils felt like filing a formal request. Not sure what we tipped for but here we are. Indoor decor gives nonna's house which is cute. Outdoor patio is nice but the flies are a little out of control. You've been warned! Food is good but not great. Skip the spinach dip, calamari, and desserts. Cajun seafood pasta had more seafood than pasta which is honestly a win, pescatore was great value, lobster ravioli was decent. If dining family style, ask for plates and serving spoons before you sit. If you need a high chair, add 15 minutes and a prayer.
