Went here for breakfast, got seated quickly. They were seating people in booths next to each other instead of spacing 6 feet apart. The coffee was weak and tasteless, you actually couldn't even tell it was coffee. They do offer mimosas but to expensive at $6.50 and not very strong, mostly Orange juice. I ordered the French toast and it was at least 4 inches thick which presents itself as tasting like bread with a little crispness on the outside. If I were a cook I would've been to embarrassed to plate something that thick! With bread that thick you would have to soak it overnight or at least for hours in order for the flavors to be Absorb into the thick bread. The waitress was nice and prompt. This establishment is insanely overpriced. I paid $15 for a Greek salad with chicken (salad is $10 with a $5 up-charge for chicken). The salad itself was an adequate, typical Greek salad but the chicken was horrendous. It had to be several days old based on how dried and rubbery it was. Kids meals were over $5 for tepid pancakes. I used to enjoy the meatloaf and burgers but realized everything on the menu is NOT meant to be ordered. (The meatloaf decreased satisfaction-wise BUT was still OK/Edible.) The food at the Nazareth Diner is a consistent 8/10. I have been here at least 15-20 times now, mostly out of the convenience (open 24 hours). Gyro, Burgers, Wings, everything is always pretty good. Same applies to the dessert menu. HOWEVER, the service here is hit or miss, sometimes bad enough to the point of knocking 2 stars off a otherwise 4-5 star experience. There have been nights where I'm here at 2 or 3 AM, in a mostly empty diner, and sat needing a refill for the entirety of my meal. One night in particular our server legitimately did not stop by once to refill my tables drinks, offer a napkin, anything. Do yourself a favor and order an extra 2-3 drinks and extra napkins initially to try and circumvent the inevitably horrible service. The inside is very nice, modern and comfortable seating. I will continue to go here once in awhile, and hope that they eventually get some good servers. read more

Simply the best diner around my area! Not sure why they only get an average of 3 stars.. the food is always great, the portion size are huge, and the staff is so great and friendly. They must have hundreds of options which is overwhelming and shows they have no specialty. Had a bad service experience here when dining with my young daughter. In the middle of eating she had to pee so I escorted her to the bathroom and waited outside the bathroom door for her. When we got back to our table we found that it had been cleared by the busboy. We were less than halfway through our breakfast, hadn't received the check yet or anything. I guess the busboy was overly eager. Ever since this place first opened, I've usually gone here at least once a month. The Nazareth Diner is as good as diners get. The salad bar is probably the best I've ever seen. The atmosphere is really nice, the service is always friendly, and of course there's some great food. My personal recommendations would be the Hickory Burger and the Fried Chicken Basket. If you're coming in for breakfast, get the Chocolate Chip Pancakes. They're so delicious I sometimes get them as breakfast for dinner! Toilet paper all over the floor near the toilet bowls, urine all over the floor by the standup urinal, the bathroom basically hasn't been cleaned in about 8 hours. I took my grandparents out to lunch here - there were a lot of oldies in the crowd, but the servers and staff seemed kind of clueless. They kept talking to ME instead of THEM, which I really don't understand. E.g.: My grandfather orders the lunch special. Waitress, talking to me: "Ok, hon, he gets to choose one of these sandwiches, which ones does he want?" He's old but he can talk and hear and read, lady! Ask him yourself! My girlfriend and I both order just soup/ salad bar. 5 minutes later, we are told the soup/salad bar is closing in 10 minutes so you need to get what you want now. One star is being generous. My boyfriend and I went to try this diner on a Sunday morning. Our waitress took 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drink order. We put our food order in at the same time to prevent having to wait again. After being in the diner for a total of 17 minutes our drinks (coffee and iced tea) arrived at our table. Half an hour into sitting, another waitress came and "double checked" our order for the kitchen. The table who was seated 15 min after we were had already been served and eating at this point. When our food came out, the new waitress told us she stole someone else's order to get us our food, but they were out of bagels (which was what my boyfriend ordered). After I asked for a box, she came back and said she was sorry a box took so long. At this point I had understandably lost my appetite. She said the manager (who never came over to our table) apologized and our check was taken care of. We walked out without our original server or the manager ever acknowledging us, proving that this diner has disgraceful management on top of horrible service. A fresh coat of paint only does so much...this place is still a hellhole. The variety sucks, the quality of the food is poor, and the owner is either extremely arrogant or just really stupid. Their credit card machine broke (didn't bother to tell us this until AFTER we ate, of course). No apologies, nothing...just looked at us with a blank stupid look on his face as if we should have anticipated a problem and had exact change on us or something. This is the same owner that was rumored to urge staff to re use food left on tables in the past. Our poor waitress didn't even get a tip because we happened to have just enough for the bill (thanks for the accommodation for YOUR screw up, moron). This Diner should be renamed to "The Nazareth Saloon". Have gone there for years. It used to look family friendly; but, they changed their atmosphere and remodled the place. It now feels like a base bar. The floor reminded us of a western saloon and the friendly atmosphere is now stripped bare with dark wood almost screaming at you to "buy a drink". Not at all comfortable anymore. Would not bring children there cause it just feels like a bar. Food is still good. Some food though was too salty. Do not feel this place is family friendly anymore.
