I've been to this place many times, and I usually have a good experience; good service, good food. Occasionally, when it's busy, you might get a waitress who doesn't know what she's doing, but usually, the service is excellent. The breakfast is pretty good, standard fare eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast etc. Lunch and dinner are good likewise, they have a delicious soup and salad bar, and I've gotten Burgers and Wraps and they've been good. Overall, this is a great local diner which is definitely worth a try if you live nearby. read more

Had breakfast here today.. Prices were average and the food was delicious. The waitress was very nice. The diner was clean and the bathroom was clean. It had a great atmosphere. The only problem we had was our table location. It was in a back corner and the table behind us was pretty much attached to our booth. read more

I used to enjoy the meatloaf and burgers but realized everything on the menu is NOT meant to be ordered. (The meatloaf decreased satisfaction-wise BUT was still OK/Edible.) I ordered a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled chicken, green peppers and salt and pepper. Sounds simply right? The olives contained seeds LOL. Proceed with caution and only decide you're satisfied after almost HALFWAY through your meal. read more

The food at the Nazareth Diner is a consistent 8/10. I have been here at least 15-20 times now, mostly out of the convenience (open 24 hours). Gyro, Burgers, Wings, everything is always pretty good. Same applies to the dessert menu. HOWEVER, the service here is hit or miss, sometimes bad enough to the point of knocking 2 stars off a otherwise 4-5 star experience. There have been nights where I'm here at 2 or 3 AM, in a mostly empty diner, and sat needing a refill for the entirety of my meal. One night in particular our server legitimately did not stop by once to refill my tables drinks, offer a napkin, anything. Do yourself a favor and order an extra 2-3 drinks and extra napkins initially to try and circumvent the inevitably horrible service. The inside is very nice, modern and comfortable seating. I will continue to go here once in awhile, and hope that they eventually get some good servers. read more

Simply the best diner around my area! Not sure why they only get an average of 3 stars.. the food is always great, the portion size are huge, and the staff is so great and friendly. If you are looking for a local diner inthe area, this is definitely the one to be at. Desserts are also amazing as well! read more

The salad bar is by far the redeeming quality here. The food was just ok. Neither myself or my boyfriend liked our food and when we tried to address our waitress to tell her we found out she had left for the night. Maybe we just didn't get food they were known for. I would say this is a below-average diner for the area. But anything other than breakfast foods I avoid here. But for breakfast I am fine with going here. Menu is too big. They must have hundreds of options which is overwhelming and shows they have no specialty. Had a bad service experience here when dining with my young daughter. In the middle of eating she had to pee so I escorted her to the bathroom and waited outside the bathroom door for her. When we got back to our table we found that it had been cleared by the busboy. We were less than halfway through our breakfast, hadn't received the check yet or anything. I guess the busboy was overly eager. They weren't terribly busy so it's not like they were desperate for tables. The offered to get us a new meal but didn't seem terribly apologetic about it. It is a diner, it has diner food. The portions are large, and prices are good. Always busy, and menu is way too large to expect anything 'fresh'. Would I go back, sure if I was around there. Try to go later on in the day, maybe even do a late dinner it won't be busy. I would recommend the breakfast, just not the fruit! They only gave a very small portion and mostly honeydew. Today we waited 40 minutes for lunch a BLT and a omelets, complained serveral times, OMG then it came out it horrible the toast with both meals was cold and floppy, the bacon was not chewable on the BLT the tomato was cut thick and hard. I liked this diner because it has a wide selection of sandwiches and burgers. I had a turkey sandwich as a main course, and a piece of chocolate fudge cake for dessert. The Martin Guitar Factory is a few minutes from the diner. I wish that this diner would have a jukebox. read more

Ever since this place first opened, I've usually gone here at least once a month. The Nazareth Diner is as good as diners get. The salad bar is probably the best I've ever seen. The atmosphere is really nice, the service is always friendly, and of course there's some great food. My personal recommendations would be the Hickory Burger and the Fried Chicken Basket. If you're coming in for breakfast, get the Chocolate Chip Pancakes. They're so delicious I sometimes get them as breakfast for dinner! First and last time that I will dine here. The bathroom was disgusting. Toilet paper all over the floor near the toilet bowls, urine all over the floor by the standup urinal, the bathroom basically hasn't been cleaned in about 8 hours. There is nothing worse than going to a food establishment that has a nasty bathroom. I wonder what the kitchen looks like. One of the woman that works as a host had meth mouth. Really? Why would you hire someone to greet customers as they enter and escort them to their seats that has meth mouth? God bless America. We are in a sad state and I don't mean just PA, I mean as a society with the drug epidemic. What do I know? Hope this review helps for anyone that values their health and hard earned money. I took my grandparents out to lunch here - there were a lot of oldies in the crowd, but the servers and staff seemed kind of clueless. They kept talking to ME instead of THEM, which I really don't understand. E.g.: My grandfather orders the lunch special. Waitress, talking to me: "Ok, hon, he gets to choose one of these sandwiches, which ones does he want?" He's old but he can talk and hear and read, lady! Ask him yourself! The food was meh overall, but the fries were battered, crispy and yummy. There's formica on the ceiling - its quite fascinating. The food here was completely average. I've had much better at other Lehigh Valley diners. The eggs I had were average and the omelets lacked enough meat. My homefries were soggy too. Overall it was okay and the prices were average. I wouldn't come out of my way to eat here but it's certainly a reasonable option in the area. The coffee was surprisingly okay. Got here and the soup/salad bar looked good. My girlfriend and I both order just soup/ salad bar. 5 minutes later, we are told the soup/salad bar is closing in 10 minutes so you need to get what you want now. As I'm racing against the clock the salad bar attendant is swiftly removing every possible utensil even as I'm trying to get a measly broccoli floret. When asked for assistance he rolled his eyes and ignored (not sure he spoke english really). Within minutes the selection was gone making what i hoped a pleasant meal impossible. I gave my waitress some advice, if salad bar is closing tell the customer. There was no manager/owner to speak with, I left annoyed. I can deal with mediocre food, but dont treat customers lousy. One star is being generous. My boyfriend and I went to try this diner on a Sunday morning. Our waitress took 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drink order. We put our food order in at the same time to prevent having to wait again. After being in the diner for a total of 17 minutes our drinks (coffee and iced tea) arrived at our table. Half an hour into sitting, another waitress came and "double checked" our order for the kitchen. The table who was seated 15 min after we were had already been served and eating at this point. When our food came out, the new waitress told us she stole someone else's order to get us our food, but they were out of bagels (which was what my boyfriend ordered). After I asked for a box, she came back and said she was sorry a box took so long. At this point I had understandably lost my appetite. She said the manager (who never came over to our table) apologized and our check was taken care of. We walked out without our original server or the manager ever acknowledging us, proving that this diner has disgraceful management on top of horrible service. I was a little shocked reading some of the other reviews because I've been coming here at least once a week for years and I've never had an issue. The food is always good and I can count on one hand the amount of times we've waited a long time for service, and most of those times the place was packed making it more than understandable. If all you want is soup and salad bar that is good. In fact broccoli cheddar soup was delicious. But the rest of our food took almost an hour to get to our table. It was a kind of busy Saturday afternoon but that was rediculous. The waitress apologized, but only offered us some water while we continued to wait. It would have been a nice gesture to give us a bread basket or something. Those at our table that didn't get the saladbar were starving by the time we got our food. Then when my mom asked for coffee the waitress dropped it off at our table so fast my mom didn't have time to catch her and ask for creamer. A fresh coat of paint only does so much...this place is still a hellhole. The variety sucks, the quality of the food is poor, and the owner is either extremely arrogant or just really stupid. Their credit card machine broke (didn't bother to tell us this until AFTER we ate, of course). No apologies, nothing...just looked at us with a blank stupid look on his face as if we should have anticipated a problem and had exact change on us or something. This is the same owner that was rumored to urge staff to re use food left on tables in the past. This Diner should be renamed to "The Nazareth Saloon". Have gone there for years. It used to look family friendly; but, they changed their atmosphere and remodled the place. It now feels like a base bar. The floor reminded us of a western saloon and the friendly atmosphere is now stripped bare with dark wood almost screaming at you to "buy a drink". Not at all comfortable anymore. Would not bring children there cause it just feels like a bar. Food is still good. Some food though was too salty. Do not feel this place is family friendly anymore. Stopped in while visiting the Martin Guitar Factory.....really nice atmosphere and our waitress was very courteous. Our breakfast was excellent and really easy on the wallet, lol! We liked it so much we went back for dinner as well, and even thought they were much busier, everything from our server to our dinner was excellent!
