What a cute community restaurant. From the outside you wouldn't think this place as so quant inside. Totally impressive!! My partner and I ordered BLT with turkey bacon. Very tasty, I was only able to eat half. The portions are big . Service was just as great as the meal. I'm not from this neighborhood but if I were from the neighborhood I would patronize this establishment OFTEN! If you're in the area (even if you're working remotely or doing schoolwork) stop by. You'll love it!!

Great local cafe. Ample seating and two bathrooms. They have a full food menu, pastries and drinks. I had the eggplant po boy and it was so good! I had a chai latte as well. I stayed and ate in the cafe and it was nice and not overly loud. Some people had laptops and I'm not sure if there's a laptop time limit here. I also saw board games for people to play. There's a covered outdoor seating area with a couch etc. Staff was friendly and prices were average for an NYC cafe, Would definitely go back.

I come here regularly and when I came recently I ordered their shrimp po boy which was amazing. The sandwich was amazing and the textures were a great balance. The shrimps were a great size and the sauce was absolutely. The texture of the bread was perfect crispy but not overly crunchy. I loved this sandwich as you cans read it was the perfect meal. The service is always friendly and the food is always hot and the ingredients are top quality. The space is always open and quiet enough to work in. They have an outdoor which is covered if you want more privacy.

Service was great and owner Dewayne was so friendly. This cute cafe was in Harlem where I was staying and just a short walk for me. I had the opportunity to visit twice and each time I was the Smoked Salmon Bagel no cream cheese, add fried egg, on an everything bagel. I also got a Matcha Latte both times and add cookie butter flavor- surprisingly good! This would definitely be a spot I would frequent if I lived in the neighborhood. Oh yea that pound cake was delicious as well, can't forget that!

NBHD Coffee is the perfect spot when you need a quick bite, a breather, or a boost. Their matcha is smooth, creamy, and not too sweet, just how I like it. I loved their breakfast sandwich with Chicken sausage 10/10. I loved the environment & ambiance the music is at a great level and they play hits. Along with strong and reliable WiFi to finish your work for the day. I LOVE this place

Stopped by this Black-owned coffee spot in Harlem on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming--great customer service that felt genuine, not forced. You can tell the team really takes pride in what they do. I ordered the Cajun shrimp salad and a latte, and both were next level. The salad was super fresh, seasoned just right with a little kick, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly--tender with that bold Cajun flavor. The latte was smooth, creamy, and honestly one of the best I've had uptown. The space itself is adorable--cozy indoor seating with natural light pouring in, and a cute outdoor area that's perfect for people-watching or catching a breeze on a warm day. They had classic R&B playing while I was there--think Jill Scott, D'Angelo, and Sade--which made the whole experience feel soulful and relaxed. If you're in Harlem and looking for a place to chill, grab a bite, and support Black-owned excellence, this is it. Definitely adding it to my regular rotation.p

Tried the omelet one time and the pancakes the next. Both pretty large and took half the omelette home in a to go box. Both delicious as expected. The baristas and the owner make you feel at home, and the music and vibe is always good.

Egg n Cheese Biscuit W/ Protein (turkey bacon) is delicious!

Best biscuit I've ever had & one of the few places where the music is so good you don't need headphones. Staff is always so friendly.

My favorite black bean burger in Harlem. I also like the egg & cheese sandwich. Great coffee, great service, great vibes!

Love the vibe and the pastries here. The cozy couches and warm decorations make this the perfect spot to catch up with a friend or read a book. The black coffee is just so-so, but their pastries are all great!

Excellent breakfast sandwiches. Community hotspot. Service can be a little slow, so give yourself plenty of time. It's part of the charm.

Decor/actual restaurant: This particular location is very small and tight with limited in-store seating. The interior is cute, I like the blue color theme they have here. For a restaurant designed for to-go orders, I believe that there could be more waiting room and a couple less chairs. Service: Like many "fast food adjacent" restaurants, the people who work there have good customer service but I imagine deal with the worst. I know they're doing great with the situation they're in. Kudos to them. Food: this is probably my harshest critique. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich, and it was fine. I don't believe it was worth the $16 I spent though. The chicken was kind of bland, tasted similarly to frozen grilled chicken pieces you buy from a grocery store. I do wish there was more sauce. The pesto tasted good but overall there was too much bread. I fear you would be better off making something like this at home for a comparable price. The bread was good, just too much. I don't want to base the menu on this sandwich alone, a lot of the menu options sounded delicious, but this was just the experience I had!

There was a line, of course, there always is, and the wait was longer than what we were willing to endure for fare as simple and as common as a sandwich. It was worth the 20-minute wait. We ordered the Milano special, packed with cold meats, tomatoes, pickled peppers, cheese, and lettuce between two soft sesame rolls. It looked magnificent. It tasted magnificent. It was a sandwich to rule all sandwiches. I'd brave the line for that any day.

Proscuitto burtata (amore) - fresh fresh fresh and quality ingredients. The proscuitto was perfect along with the burrata, arugula and balsamic glaze on ciabatta which was sweet mix. We were deciding on this one and the proscuitto tomato but we are glad we got this one! 2. Chicken caesar salad wrap- I think I could easily say this is the best caesar salad wrap i've had. The dressing was light and not overpowering with the mix of the chicken, croutons and outside wrap was a truly stellar combination. Very fresh and wasnt soggy one bit. the cookies: small black n white cookie, rainbow cookie and chocolate sprinkle and all were hits! my favorite was the black n white because the icing melts right off the soft cookie texture and tastes more like a cake than a cookie. All were amazing and is a must try when visiting. absolutely rec when you're on the east side!
