Luckily , surrounding cars were aware and gave us all the room we needed and we exited I95 and made it to a nearby parking lot. On opening the hood, it became obvious a catastrophic transmission fluid leak occurred. A dip Stick check confirmed this. Eastside Transmission replaced the transmission on the Honda in December 2017, with a two year, 24,000 mile warranty. We paid $ 2,970 for the job. I called Eastside Transmission and informed them of this dangerous failure. My call was never returned.

They were very accommodating when it came to the drop off. I was running late and they stayed a few minutes after close to receive my transmission. I got the transmission back sooner than expected and I was very happy with the price and quality of parts. I was able to speak with the gentleman who rebuilt it (George). When I had a big job that needed to get done, I called them first. What blew my mind is that the shop I always go to wanted over a crazy amount of money to fix my clutch. I told them I would buy the part( about 300$) and asked them about their installation. The other guys quoted me 1500$ for labor on my car. I was floored by the dishonesty. They basically were saying it would be 15 hours of labor (not even close). So out of desperation I Yelp searches and found these guys! So I called them up and asked for a quote. They called me back about 30 minutes later and quoted me about 1300 WITH the parts and labor. They literally saved me over 500 bucks! They obviously could have tried to take me to the cleaners like that other garage, but this garage has integrity beyond all measure. I decided to really break down the numbers for you all just to show you how big of a savings they are. Now for the huge disclaimer. Every car and person is different. Will everyone save a massive amount of money? Probably not, but you can trust these guys to be fair. The only downfall to this place is they got some oil, gas, or something tracked into my car. The interior really stuck for about a week before it cleared out. Other than that, these are my new guys!
