Neko yubu is a take out only place with yubus. It's rice with toppings wrapped in a sweet and savory tofu skin. I really enjoy all the flavors. My favorite is the fresh salmon, torched salmon and butter crab. It's a good mix of sweet and savory but might be a bit sweet for some folks but I definitely look forward to picking these up each time.

The location was in a business center strictly for restaurants that make your food for direct pickup. You can order online or at the location and then wait in your car. The woman who serviced me was very nice. I was unaware of the ordering policy. But she took my order and asked if I'd be waiting and would have the food brought out to my car. The Tofu pouches filled with sweet treats of salmon, crab and spicy chicken were amazing..I ordered 6 along with a miso soup. I think next time I might have to double down in my order. Theaslo there was plenty of parking space and it was not overly crowded. The location is very nice , and you can try a different array of foods in the area

This place specializes in yubu, which are tofu pockets stuffed with rice & topped with different toppings. I tried the myungran (mentaiko) mayo, fresh salmon, grilled beef bulgogi, torched salmon & butter crab. My favorite would have to be the mentaiko. I wished the salmon was more buttery & fresher. The only one I didn't like was the beef bulgogi because for some reason it was cold. This place is pick up only, so there's no seating. You can either order there or through their website. Overall, the food here is pretty good & would come back to get my favorite & try their other yubu.

Tried NEKO YUBU for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the fresh salmon, torched salmon, fresh tuna, butter crab, spicy pork, and beef bulgogi. Everything tasted fresh and had a lot of favor. The torched salmon was probably my favorite, and beef bulgogi was really good too. It's more like a pickup order spot than a restaurant, with few other food places in the same plaza. The food was made pretty quickly, and everything was packed well. Overall, a solid spot if you're looking for a quick bit and some fresh, tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu .

We came back to try the mentaiko, and it was so worth it! We placed an online pickup order, and it was a quick and easy transaction. There isn't really any seating besides some benches outside, so it is definitely a casual to-go spot. I also recommend eating it asap. The beef bulgogi was more moist and juicy this time since we didn't leave it sitting for a while. The fresh tuna and fresh salmon were also really good! Super fresh and great texture! Out of all of them, the mentaiko is definitely my #1, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for something unique!

My family & I really enjoy Neko Yubu. Please keep in mind that they don't really have a dining area, as their space is a kitchen. Nonetheless, the food & service are top notch! I often order online & pick it up on the way home. My order is always accurate, the ingredients are fresh, & the portion size is good. We tried the bulgogi, spicy pork, tuna mayo, egg mayo, and myungran mayo - none of them disappointed!! They were all so juicy and packed with flavor without being salty. The textures were all so balanced, I literally had to go back immediately to get more before I left the premises. I cannot recommend this place enough!! It is hands down the best yubu rice I have ever had. Ever!! Not to mention the price is really good for the taste and quality. Make sure to be ready to wait a bit on your order. There is also no indoor or outdoor seating/waiting area so make sure to take a car and be able to wait inside that car. Also the neighborhood is a little sketchy so lock your doors while you wait!

Something to know about me... I really love tofu skin. I first tried them in a random Chinese buffet in the sushi section where they would put random crabmeat on top of rice inside or seaweed salad and call it a day. I love the texture and hint of sweetness from it. So anyway, when I saw this place online, I knew I had to come and try it. My husband and I ordered 8 pieces and each and every bite was delightful! My favorites were the seared salmon, egg mayo, tuna, and fresh salmon. My husband being my husband.. didn't get the hype lol. He said it would be better if they had hot foods on it. Im sure they do but most of what we ordered were like sushi or warm foods. I truly love it here. I would come back for this again.

I decided to get out of the house and take a ride to Neko Yubu to try their Yubu Bites, and when I tell you it was a 10 out of 10, I definitely recommend. Everything was super fresh, super flavorful, and the customer service was A1. It's a ghost kitchen setup, so you drive up and order once you arrive. There's no dining area, so expect to eat in your car, but honestly, they're so good you won't want to wait anyway. I ordered a box of six which included Torched Salmon, Kimchi Bacon, Butter Crab, Carottes Râpées, Cheese Buldak, and Beef Bulgogi. The Beef Bulgogi was hands down my favorite, but every single one hit. They don't have a huge menu, and I've already tried six of the flavors, so I'll definitely be back to try the rest. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend checking this spot out.

This place is sooo good. I had it back in September, and I still think about it today. Their service is very friendly, and patient. There is a little wait as they assemble your order, but they'll hand deliver it to your car since there is no indoor/outdoor seating here. We got the mentaiko mayo, torched salmon, butter crab, and fresh salmon. The fresh salmon was very light and refreshing in contrast to the cooked/creamy options we had. The torched salmon and butter crab both had those hints of smokiness that paired with the creaminess of the sauces perfectly. Mentaiko was my personal favorite because it was so creamy and tasty without a single hint of that fishy taste you usually encounter. Please try this place for a light lunch or snack if you are in Dallas!

Growing up, I've had this before but the basic version without all the fun toppings. We got the 6 pack: butter crab, tuna mayo, egg mayo, fresh salmon, torched salmon, and cheese buldak. We also ordered their regular tteokbokki. Everything was good! All of the yubu were all delicious in their own unique way. My favorite was the fresh salmon because it has wasabi mayo , the cheese buldak was very flavorful and not too spicy, I really like butter crab. The other 3 yubu, I would order again but would also be open to substituting with another item that I haven't tried. I do want to try grilled spicy pork next time. Tteokbokki is decently spicy so beware for anyone who can't handle spice. If you get to the bottom of your yubu and there is mostly rice and fish cake left then you can dip that into the tteokbokki sauce. The main downside is that they are like 25 mins away from me and there is nowhere to eat, so we took it back to our home. Still wanting to come back another time. Service: the girl who came out to give out food was very friendly. read more

Ive always been a fan of tofu skin, so when I stumbled upon this place, I couldn't wait to give it a try. The moment my husband and I dug in, we were hooked. Every bite was a burst of flavor and freshness. The seared salmon, egg mayo tuna, and fresh salmon were definitely the highlights! The textures were perfectly balanced, and the sushi-style presentation was spot on. While my husband wasnt as impressed with the cold dishes, I loved every moment. We found this place on Instagram with my coworkers and decided to place an order to have in the office. Despite being a pickup-only spot, nothing feels "to-go" about the food, each dish is packed with the care and presentation you'd expect from a dine-in fine dining restaurant. The food is nice, I would say some things might benefit from stronger flavors but overall it's probably some of the best inari you can get in Dallas that actually has other fillings instead of just being the tofu pocket. I got the egg mayo, tofu, torched salmon, fresh salmon, kimchi bacon, butter crab, and mentaiko. If I had to rank them personally it would be 1. Fresh salmon (stuffed to the brim with good fish and the wasabi mayo was a tasty addition) 2. Torched salmon (same as fresh I just prefer that one slightly) 3.Kimchi bacon (this was delightful, a little spicy, savory, and smoky, a must get with some of the plainer flavors) 4. Tofu (it's just tofu, I liked it but it is very plain, adding some kimchi from the previous helped it a lot) 5.Egg mayo (this was good for what it is, I just maybe don't like mayo enough and this was basically egg salad with only mayo) 6. Mentaiko (this is one I think would have really benefitted from a punchy wasabi or some ginger, it was fine but felt like it was missing some spice) 7. Butter crab (This one is last because I'm not a huge fan of sweet food and imitation crab is pretty sweet and being on top of sweet inari made it a bit too much for me) Nothing about the food was bad some things just weren't to my taste but if you are ordering inari or tofu pockets every time you go to a sushi place you should definitely try this. read more

Firstly beware this is NOT a sit down restaurant or even a place that you can walk into. Walk up rung the bell and they will come out to take your order. But These little pockets were really good and surprisingly pretty filling. The tofu pocket part is sweet and soft, unexpected but I enjoyed it. I would get these again BUT I will say the service was extremely slow. I ordered online ahead about 20 min and still had to wait in my car for an hour once I got there because my order was not ready. read more

It's the only yubu spot in DFW, and I'll def be back for more!! Each yubu was absolutely PACKED w flavor and topped so generously, too. I especially loved the torched, smoky finish - such a nice touch. Every flavor we tried was delicious, and the rose tteokbokki and drinks were just as impressive. Love the presentation, but unfortunately, the proteins were a bit dried, may be due to going closer to the closing time, but consistency would be nice. Overall balance of the flavor was okay, but could tone down on the torch part as it was a bit overwhelming and overshadowed the intended flavors. Would rate it at 3.4-3.5 but great service, so 4 stars. The guy came out and checked up on us and made sure we were updated on time with our orders. read more

My go-to's have been avocado rolls and veggie rolls and they've always come out super fresh and fast, I also go with the seaweed salad and it barely beats the rolls coming out...I said fast! Each visit and order has been both delicious and filling without leaving me feeling lethargic or slow the rest of the day. Service has also been friendly and attentive to my needs, ensuring that I am satisfied and well taken care of. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.

The last time I had these noodles, there were perfect, so it was really disappointing to have this batch be so off. The waitress was pretty inattentive throughout our meal later on, a manager checked in on us, and we had to ask her for the check since our waitress was no where to be found. Overall, we left with a bad impression of this meal. Knowing the Uptown Dumpling is capable of so much more is just a tough pill to swallow. Okay, so I moved to Texas from California about 5 months ago, and if you're from California, you know sushi standards are HIGH. I've tried quite a few places since moving here, and honestly, nothing has really hit the spot... until Neko. I randomly found them on Yelp and decided to give them a shot, and I'm so glad I did. First off, the fish was ridiculously fresh. Like, actually fresh. Not "Texas fresh" (don't come for me ), but fresh fresh. It genuinely reminded me of the sushi spots I'd go to back home. I ordered the Fresh Tuna, Fresh Salmon, Butter Crab, and Torched Salmon, and every single one was amazing. The Torched Salmon was probably my favorite, but there honestly wasn't a bad bite in the bunch. The service was also great. You ring the doorbell, a super sweet woman comes out and takes your order, and everyone was incredibly friendly. You can tell they work hard and take pride in what they're serving. What really shocked me was how fast everything came out. Everything is made fresh to order, and I still had my food in less than 5 minutes. If you've been searching for good sushi in Texas and keep leaving disappointed like I was, give Nemo a try. This is the first place since moving here that made me stop and think, "Okay...
