Let me begin by saying that I absolutely love nekter, but this location needs to get it together. I've been here several times and ordered the exact same thing, the Popeyes acai smoothie. It has tasted different every time. They are not consistent. I once ordered an acai bowl and it was more of a soup than a berry bowl. Nekter is amazing in general but this location specifically is top notch. There is another Nekter that's a bit closer to my house but I will go out of my way to go to this one! They are always so friendly and super fast, unlike the other one. Oh and I love how much you can taste the ginger in the toxin flush! Love Nekter! I'm a big fan of fresh pressed juice. I juice at home and I try every juice place I come across. Nekter is by far the best juice bar in the North OC area. Their juice is freshly pressed in front of you and the flavors are crisp and bold. They also have killer bowls. Try a pitaya base, it's amazing! It's also clear that their ingredients aren't sitting around wilting like Robek's lame attempt at fresh juice. They have super fast service, even though they're always packed. Only bummer for me is their hours. If I could stop by Nekter at 6:30AM on my way to work, Starbucks would get way less of my business. read more

This place is so much better than your typical juice/smoothie place. They have so many vegan options and they don't ruin their drinks by adding yogurt. They use cashew milk which is awesome. Went here on the suggestion of a friend when I told her I was looking for a good smoothie when I had a cold and wasn't feeling that great. I got the popeye smoothie and thought it was ok. There wasn't much flavor to it at all, just a hint of vanilla, but at least it didn't taste bad! I would definately go back and maybe try the create your own smoothie. MY WIFE usually goes here. I've tried their Acai bowls, and I'm a fan. Love the raw granola. Finally went there myself for the first time. It was kind of busy and they were understaffed, and some dude cut in front of me. No biggie, prob didn't see me. Y'know, I decided yesterday that I am officially over Nekter Juice! My friend told me she was pretty sure they weren't organic and told me to look on their website because nowhere does it say anything about being organic (she was right). Not that I always care, but when the ingredients are being ground up and pressed into juice, it might be nice to know what was sprayed on those apples before they go into that cup. Not only that, but there is no balance or consistency to the drinks, they taste so different every time because the people juicing are just adding enough of whatever ingredient to hit the right mark on their measuring cup. Yesterday, I got the Greenie Juice (i generally love green juice!) and it literally tasted like dirt and had quite large chunks of celery still in it even though he strained it--didn't understand that. Maybe I'm just spoiled working next to a Whole Foods Juice Bar. Their juice is a same price, organic, and effing delicious! I always order their green juice and cannot get over how good it is every time! The only downside is that there is usually a considerable wait because of how good the juice is :/ but if you call ahead it is totally worth it! Just visited again after a long day of work. There were about 8 people inside. Some waiting for drinks and one person in line who just walked in right before me and they refused to serve me at 6:02. I work in retail and customer service and would've served a customer at that point. With the expensive prices and sub part customer service I'll be taking my business to the new Vitality Bowl in downtown Brea. It's slightly more expensive, which I will gladly pay for friendliness and order accuracy. read more

I ordered on the app and waited almost 30 minutes once I arrived for my smoothie. I saw at least 10 people order at the register and get their order before me as I just waited there and no one assisted me. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Why offer the mobile app for faster service when clearly you have to wait longer if you order ahead? I sent my hubs there to get me a fresh squeezed orange juice. He brought it home and I thought the color looked a little weird. There were green flecks in the orange. I started drinking and it tasted like parsley!! Gross! I can't believe a juice place would.do that! I wanted orange juice not parsley with orange. The parsley completely overpowered the oranges. Service is ok. They seem to get pretty busy & sometimes it doesn't seem like there are enough people working. I wouldn't recommend going here if you are planning to grab something quick & are in a hurry. I've waited about 20 minutes for a pitaya bowl. Sometimes they don't seem to go in order. I understand they make the items to order & that takes time but sometimes it's frustrating when people who come in after you get their bowls/smoothies first. Even though the service could use a little help I am giving them 4 stars cause I LOVE this place!!!! My favorite is the Pitaya bowl. The flavors are great, smoothie portion of the bowl is nice & smooth, & the granola is prefect with it as well. My boyfriend loves the Acai bowl & the smoothies. I am not a huge fruit person & this taste so yummy you kinda forget it's healthy. Great healthy treat!! Wish they were open earlier on the weekdays. They don't open until 7 am & they close at 7pm. I frequent several Nekter locations and I was just at Brea to pickup an order. I walk in and all the girls in there were chatting with each other and said nothing. I waited a bit and then I had to ask them for my pickup order. They pulled it out from the back, not fully filled, and not in ice as I had asked. They went back to chatting and I stood there waitng for them to realize i was waiting, still nothing, so I again got their attention to get the extra ice I had asked for originally. I was so into this place UNTILL I watched my drink being made and the girl tossed the apple in to the juicer with the label glued to the apple !!! I have email Nektar twice to ask if this was an isolated thing. No one has answered me. If you stop and watch the cleanliness practices behind the counter, I think that most people would think twice about coming back for more.
